I was all set to purchase a Hobie kayak but my Thule Hullavator rack presented all sorts of issues from width to weight. Jim graciously tried every configuration possible. Sadly, we could not make it work but I appreciated the extraordinary effort and good will. I highly recommend Waterline Sports.

This review comes later than it should but perfect timing as spring time Kayaking is fast approaching. I cant speak highly enough about Sarah. I had a very unique situation with a Pro Angler that I had purchased back in 2016 from the previous Northern Colorado Hobie Franchise the New Anchorage. They were great and located down in Lyons but had retired not to long after my purchase and when they closed up shop I was without a home.A year into ownership I had a repair needed that I took the Kayak to the Other Guys down in the Springs and was unfortunately left disappointed with the experiences. Im sure with time that other dealer has gotten better but enter Sarah and Waterline this winter. I originally met the owners of Waterline at a show in Denver. Incredibly nice folks but I was very gun shy so to speak after poor experiences down south. Sarah changed all that. Like I mentioned I had a very unique 1 in a 1000 type warranty related claim that I was not getting anywhere with and had all but given up. Sarah took the time to see the Kayak and go to bat for me. What I appreciated was that she understood my frustration and instead of simply towing the line with canned responses hoping I would go away she actually took the time to fight on my behalf. She was able to communicate with the manufacturer the things that they would never be able to see themselves simply from pictures etc.My situation is unique so the details of it are not important but what is important is the review of Sarah and Waterlines character and just how far they went to help me in what felt like an unsolvable situation.Waterline will have my future business and reference as long as they are there and I truly have renewed faith in Hobie and feel I have a home again here in Northern Colorado. It wont be long before I am back on the water chasing Giants from my new Pro Angler and I have Sarah to thank.I also want to thank Jim the owner of Waterline as well as Jacque with Hobie Corporate who made this all possible. I will be with Hobie for many more years chasing more big fish. I have Sarah to thank for making that happen!!!!! Thank you Sarah! See you again soon! Jason

Waterline Sports is my go-to shop for anything kayak-related, especially if it is a Hobie brand item. The owner and his team are always pleasant and will bend over backwards for you when they know you are a loyal customer. I rarely give a five-star rating to any store or restaurant, but Waterline Sports does deserve it, in my book. They are also a place to get accessories made by Hobie, Yak-Power and Malone Trailers just to name a few. I have purchased two Hobie PA14s here, and I will not consider going anywhere else. I am not a guy to leave reviews but this is my third Hobie I have owene and Jim & Andy have been the best people I have ever done business with, the every best customer service I have demoed many different kayaks and always seem to turn back to Hobie. These guy are much better than Anglers Covey I had gone there first. These guys have my business hands down.
