I recently took my vehicle here to get it repaired through my insurance company and I must say that this experience was nothing like the one I had about 4-5 years ago. My vehicle was at this shop for three days which was what the estimate stated so I was fine with that. Upon picking my vehicle up I started going down the road and heard a weird noise like a draft coming through the window which wasnt present before the repairs. So I waited until I got home and looked a little closer and the body shop employees for some reason took the weather stripping going around the top of my door off when it didnt need to be taken off. (per Jack) I fixed it with no problem so I let that go. After looking at the job that was done I noticed multiple areas on my driver side door that were not present before the repair was done. I contacted my insurance company to let them know that I was not happy with the job and they contacted Nelson Collison Center. The assistant manager by the name of Mark called me and stated that he was very sorry that I was not happy with the repairs and that he would bend over backward per his own words to make things right. He stated he would even get me shuttled back home and back to the repair shop to pick it up. Well, I arrived today to let the assistant manager put eyeballs on it as he called it so that he could see for himself what my concerns were. I walked into Nelson Collision center and it took longer than 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. After doing so the assistant manager asked the shop manager by the name of Jack to walk out and look at my vehicle with me. Upon Jack and I doing so Jack wanted to try and tell me that the issues in question were already there before the repair was done. Which in fact was not true. Jack then told me that pretty much the shop didnt sand down my door the way it should have been done. The vibe and the attitude of the people at this shop changed dramatically from the first time I stopped by to get an estimate and date to fix it until I showed back up wanting them to redo the job they previously did. I clearly told Mark and his manager Jack that I was not happy with the job that was done. However, Jack asked me at the end what did I want him to do!! Being that Jack is the shop manager he should have a satisfactory resolution already in place. I told Jack that since he is the manager he needs to tell me what needs to be done and I will tell him in return if I am willing to accept it or not. Surely He didnt think I was going to say okay to his shops mess up. Obviously, this shop doesnt have quality assurance after the work is complete or maybe they didnt care because my vehicle is 21 years old. Either way, the ball falls it doesnt matter! If the shop would have completed the repairs like they were supposed to then I wouldnt have complained and they wouldnt have to go back and redo the job as requested. Jack did offer to redo the work I told him before I left that at this point I dont want them working on my vehicle due to their attitudes and negligence. I was going to wait a while to give this shop a review to see if I had any more follow-ups from them but after thinking about it and also noticing something else they didnt do correctly while putting things back together I decided to go ahead and give this review so that everyone else can be aware. I give credit where credit is due! No credit is due at this time due to the fact that Jack tried to pretty much say this wasnt the shops fault plus his actions showed he wasnt very concerned as he should have been. At this time I dont recommend this shop due to my experience.

I would NOT suggest getting a rental car through Nelson Collision & Rental Center. My husband and I rented a vehicle to go on vacation, this was our first time getting a rental and will be our last. Needless to say we had a horrible experience! The car they rented us for $457.00 for one week was in horrible condition on the inside and out. I will include a photo of all the damages my husband and I assessed before even leaving the dealership and unfortunately we found more once we pulled of the lot. The car was not clean on the inside as if someone had just brought it back and we picked it up. We arrived to our destination the car was needing an oil change even though we expressed to them we were going 10hrs away from home. The windshield wipers were not in good condition and we didnt find that out until we were caught in a storm and needed them. You would think for this kind of money they would keep the vehicles they are renting out in better shape for the customers and since the are a collision center maybe fix the damages on their vehicles.?.? Now after having their vehicle returned back for 4 days I was starting to question where my $150 deposit was so I called them to find out and they are now telling me I am NOT being issued my deposit back because they saw ashes in the vehicle!! Really?? We did NOT smoke in the vehicle! Why didnt anyone notify me if their was an issue with the vehicle upon us returning the car?? Its our word against yours so we have no leg to stand on, lesson learned we will NOT make this mistake again and I hope to save others from this as well.

Great, seamless experience. Representatives were patient and polite Rental car was pristine. Deposit refunded in timely manner. Rental prices were hundreds of dollars less than other renal agencies in the area. Will always do business with them.

I could not be happier with the professionalism and hard work done here. I was completely taken care of the minute I called. Mark does an excellent job letting you know the process and stages your vehicle is in. I know they stay very busy but I was impressed with how Mark followed up with me and took care of my car. Unfortunately I have been there 4 times in less than 2 years, but will never take my car anywhere else. The rental department(Collin) took care of all of my needs as well, he communicated with me well.

Truly an amazing experience here at Nelsons. My vehicle was back on the road in less time than expected and the job looks wonderful. You cant even tell my vehicle was in an accident and to top it off, they gave me a full lifetime warranty on my repairs. You cant go wrong with the customer care that was given to me at this body shop. Mark, Travis, and Jack all updated me every step of the way, from start to finish, and made sure I felt at ease during a very tough time in my life. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family.

Someone hit my mother n law car took there for estimate went with there estimate. The afternoon when she took her car they told her everything was taking care of the rental everything. She got dropped off at enterprise for her rental well they hadnt set up the rental she was stranded. She sit outside for an hour and a half waiting til I could get to her. Did I mention we called and called and got no response from yall and did I mention she is 80 yrs old. Shame on you

Could tell that the rental agent was comfortable in her role which made our rental process stress free and done in a timely manner. Have been renting from Nelson for over 15 years and will continue!!

Very bad experience at Nelson Rental, the car wasn’t serviced when I received it. It was true indeed the holiday but before renting out these cars please make sure there suitable for the next driver! The windshield wipers were horrible we had to pull over several times because we couldn’t see while it was raining! I had a fog light out that they failed to check before renting also! Never again!!!!

I rented a 15 passenger van for my daughters wedding and couldnt be more pleased. The van was perfect for the occasion and the staff was very helpful making the transaction very smooth. I highly recommend them.The van helped us make the event better by providing transportation for our guests back to the hotel.

Nelson Collision has repaired my car twice after being severely damaged by deer. Both times, the repairs restored my car to like-new status—a testament to the high-quaity of the shop team. The third time my car was hit by a deer, my car was unfortunately deemed totaled. However, Mark was AMAZING in keeping me informed about the process with the insurance company—very professional and I appreciated his empathy and kind demeanor. Had my Altima repaired after a deer hit and it turned out excellent. The paint matched the rest of the vehicle perfectly and I honestly couldn’t even tell a difference than before the wreck. Would definitely use again if the opportunity arises.
