Oh... YUMMY. I love everything at Twist & Shake. I mostly get a vanilla hot fudge sunday with whipped cream. I was sad when the old Walleys closed, but this place is so much better and the girls who serve up ice cream are so nice and cheerful. Its just plain fun and delicious to go get ice cream there and sit outside. They keep the place very clean. Love it!

Twist and shake is unreal. All of their selections are great (shakes, sundaes, hard and soft serve) but the soft serve is exceptional. It’s so fluffy, creamy, and the perfect temperature. There are plenty of toppings to choose from. Not to mention the staff are very nice.

I love the peanut butter and jelly soft serve. One of the best combos ever!

Love this little ice cream shack. Hard and soft ice cream both delicious. Wide selection of toppings. CASH ONLY. Luckily enough its sandwiched between two gas stations that have both atms and additional parking space. Staff is very friendly, gave my dog a cone of soft serve.

It was near FREEZING tonight but cold weather won’t stop long lines from forming at this neighborhood institution! Vanilla soft serve with rainbow sprinkles is my go-to but they have all the classics: banana boats (aka banana splits), shakes, slushies! Always quality treats and not even close to expensive! Cash only and worth every penny!

There are very few places that can foster that family atmosphere like Twist & Shake. Who doesnt like ice cream in the Summertime? This is the place to go in downtown New City. Owner is great, workers are always friendly, and the ice cream is absolutely delicious. Gotta go there after dinner, before dinner, or for dinner, you will love it.

Can you all please stop serving in styrofoam? Its 2019. I love getting ice cream with my kid. Id love it even more if I I could do it without jeopardizing his future. Thanks.

Banana shake.

Cash ONLY but you have to be a local to know that until you get to the counter. Also the area can be prone to entitled people so just a heads up especially when it comes to cutting the line. Great ice cream though! 3 stars for being cash only and not organized line structure however the ice cream and service is 5 stars!

An ice cream stand with a sound track!!! Excellant soft-serve ice cream and various creations made there from. They always have soft-serve black raspberry. Anyways playing great 50s music. Very reasonably priced ice cream for this area given the high quality of the product.

Visiting family and went out for an evening treat. I had the peanut butter and jelly soft serve and it was yummy.They offered my dog some vanilla ice cream and he loved it.

Went with our large loud family. Staff was so accommodating and friendly. My wife got some sort of coffee chunk ice cream that she cant stop raving about. My father got an old fashioned ice cream soda float like they used to make in Brooklyn. All the kids got crazy things like cotton candy with gummy bears.And believe me, these people know how to do soft serve! Everyone was happy. Loved the action and excitement there. Will be returning soon

Twist and Shake is a drive-up ice cream parlor, which is a cute concept. Unfortunately, it makes for an uncomfortable parking experience on busy nights. The customer service was good but the ice cream had NO TASTE! It was really weird! I had soft serve vanilla dipped in chocolate that hardens. Neither the ice cream nor the chocolate had taste. The friend that I went with had soft serve vanilla dipped in chocolate as well and had the same experience, no taste. Being that that was my first time there, I might go again and try something else, to be fair, but Twist and Shake wouldnt be my first choice to get ice cream.

Love the ice cream at twist and shake and their prices are fair but they only take cash. It can get pretty busy depending on when you go or how hot it is that day.
