My wife and I always wanted a spa and this was the year we were going to make it happen. After looking at different makers/models of spa’s and reading reviews we went down the Hot Tub& Spa Emporium in Rocklin. We were met by Dennis who really took his time in explain the different features and options of each spa. We finally decided on the Master Spa S Series. Fantastic experience. We were in the market for a hot tub for our brand new home and looked everywhere in the area each place was a disappointment until leaving a local restaurant and spotting this location. We walked inside and instantly met Dennis, his knowledge and experience with the entire process was amazing. Our frustration and feeling of defeat from other locations went away after his assistance and we are so very please with our new tub. We bought a hot tub from here over a month ago from Dennis. He made the process quick and painless. He was even able to get us our hot tub delivered in less than 5 days of purchasing it which is INCREDIBLE being that some places were giving expected delivery dates of 8 months or more. The delivery crew was FANTASTIC as well. Would highly recommend.

This company is a wreck! Is there a zero star? I ordered a hot tub 9 months ago, paid a $2400 deposit, then was told to wait. Once my hot tub came in, the owner called me to demand delivery on a particular date, charged me an additional delivery fee (was suppose to be included), then once the final delivery date came Todd forgot to mention the hot tub I ordered (smaller in size to fit), was no longer available, but I could have a larger size hot tub (nicer) THAT WOULDNT FIT in the space I have. Dont use this company....go elsewhere...run...dont walk

We had an excellent experience here. We went in the other day, had a nice talk with Fred. He was very helpful and patiently answered all of our questions. We left without buying, not feeling any pressure. We returned a day later after doing some side research and bought a tub. They are a dealer of Master Spa tubs. Main selling points being that every part is manufactured in the USA. They also focus on therapeutic spa therapies, probably more than any other company. Going by all the reviews Ive read, they might have less flair and customization, but if you want a high quality hot tub, at an excellent price point, fully manufactured in the USA, then this is what you get.Unfortunately, everywhere is severely back ordered due to covid-19...so, well only get to enjoy it in about 10 months. But were excited and pleased with the purchase nonetheless.All that being said, I definitely recommend this seller.
I would give this company lower than one star if I could. Each time I have contacted this company by phone I have been met with condescending responses by the men who have answered when asking about the hot tub I purchased in January regarding trying to plan for a delivery. Very nice service in person when selling the hot tub. Poor customer service upon walking out the door. Disappointing. No I would not like a refund I would like respect and a hot tub 😄
I’ve been lax in writing this review but we have nothing but praise for this business. It started with them having a hot tub to fit our limited available space and explaining how to use the controls and maintain our unit.You could not ask for a better installation crew that took great care not damaging plants or shrubbery in the area.Of all the Hot tub dealers we checked to find the unit that fit our needs this company far out shined the others.
We just bought our spa from Fred and he was sooooo wonderful. He answered all our questions and made it such a positive experience. Been thinking about getting a 2-3 seater, nothing fancy just a basic one. Figured hit some stores today and start looking, they were busy which was good, but no hello as we walked in. While we stood around waiting the wife of one of the workers approached us, apologized (she was wonderful) and then asked someone (her husband?) He pointed out a couple options, we told him we were looking in a lower price range so he points to others almost double the price. So he didnt listen at all to what we said, I know we werent looking for a high end super $$ spa but that was no reason to disrespect us. $ is $ and in these times of so many small businesses going under, you would think that they would focus on all customers, even us smaller ones

Very poor customer service!My best friend and I walk into this business after driving from Elk Grove to purchase a hot tub. We were barely acknowledge. I am hoping the reason we were not offered assistance was not that we were African American women.Sad to say that is what it felt like. Especially when a man walked in after us and was helped right away.
My recommendation is to avoid this business. The customer service sucks. The owner Todd just blew me off and the service tech Jim Valdez is doing the same thing. We purchased a Master Spa back in Sept of last year and were told it would be about 8 months. We understood accepted the wait knowing that both demand and supply chains were affected from pandemic. As we passed our expected date, we heard nothing. The owner deflects and blames Master Spas and says out of his control and when you call Master Spa they defer you back to the retail store for updates. I finally started to make some comments on Master Spas social media and got a prompt response. Low and behold my spa was being built that week and it was delivered within 2 weeks. After we install and hookup the electrical, the spa does not work. Hot Tub Spa and Emporium send out their service tech Jim Valdez. Turns out issue is not spa and the breaker in the subpanel installed less than a year ago by Premier Pools. Because it was non-spa issue I had to pay the tech directly 150$ for repair. I paid him using Venmo. I purchased a new breaker and spa fired right up. I called Premier Pools and explained situation and they said no problem, please send receipts and we will reimburse you. Even better! I have been calling Jim and texting for over a month and cant get him to write me a hard copy receipt stating what the issue was. Premier asked that I provide that. Low and behold Jim shows up unannounced at our home less than 2 weeks ago. He shows up on our blink cameras. I think great hes there to drop off receipt. After no one answers (we are not home) he and his partner go through the gate on side of home and are back there for 2 minutes and leave. I have video footage from camera on side gate. I have no idea what they are doing?!? I leave him message saying I noticed you accessed side of house and what issue was? I still have not heard back. I called this morning and he sends me to voicemail and says cant talk. So after a month (today) I call Todd the owner. Im explaining the situation and Im less than 1minute in and he says hes on vacation and needs to go? I asked could you please just listen for a min so I can explain what is happening with your service tech. He says okay and then again says I need to go, Im on vacation. Super disappointed in the service and response from the owner. I just want to warn others as they may want to consider using another local business to purchase their spa.
Excellent experience! we did our diligence and shopped and shopped for the right spa and the right deal, we came back to Hot Tub and Spa Emporium. We had a small hiccup with the lead time, but it did not affect our experience. They quoted 2 weeks, arrived closer to 5 weeks. most lead times are 4 months and up to 1 year for other spa dealers. That is scary when you usually have to put down a deposit and consider the economic challenges we are facing. Fred is a good salesperson and can answer all your questions. Todd does the follow up for delivery and is easy to work with, the delivery crew arrived at the early part of their delivery window.and the actual spa itself...amazing. excellent jet power that can be adjusted at the jet itself, heats fast, great filtration, great lighting, easy to use controls and looks great too.
Great place.I was greeted by Fred who treated me like a real customer taking the time to explain the workings of everything and what makes the brand superior to its competitors.An issue I run into a lot is not being treated like a customer due to my younger age. This place did great not making me feel like I was being ignored.AMERICAN MADE!
What I thought was going to start off being a great relationship really turned sour. I went shopping for a spa in early November 2020 and told the two salesmen, Fred and Todd that Id like a large tub since Im very tall, They pointed me to two spas in the showroom and I chose the Portsmouth model. They both said there was another model of that in the showroom and that they could deliver it after Thanksgiving.I paid a $3000+ downpayment and spoke to Todd a few times on the phone scheduling the delivery. I even delayed the delivery a bit for their convenience. Today, Nov 20, I received a call from Todd telling me he had bad news. He said he went to the warehouse and lo and behold the tub I ordered had been sold a month before and they didnt have it. He said hed have to return my down payment.I asked if there were any other tubs available in that size. Fred said there was another about that big but that itd cost $1,000 more. I pointed out that after having gotten shafted by them, that they should make some kind of deal for me. Fred said hed call me back. When he did 5 minutes later, he said they couldnt let that tub go.What kind of business is this? They lose a tub out of inventory when two salesmen said it was there in the warehouse? Buyer beware of this crew!! The Masters spas are reportedly very good but this business apparently doesnt offer the same quality.

The service was excellent and the delivery was hassle free. It’s hard to find a place that truly has your best interests at heart and not just to make a buck. We couldn’t be happier with our spa. Great service and great Twilight spa! Tod and Brandon were very helpful, informative and professional. The delivery team was also very careful and respectful-- placed it exactly where we wanted it. Setup instructions were clear and got us going quickly. The Twilight 3 person corner unit fits perfectly in our space and is soooo relaxing. Weve been enjoying our new spa every night since!

We wanted a hot tub for many years but it was confusing trying to figure it all out until we spoke with Todd . They were wonderful to work with made us totally comfortable. Delivery and set up was perfect. We are so happy with our hot tub!
Had an outstanding experience with these guys. To start, we stopped by the store on one of their scheduled days they were closed, however Todd was in there, opened the doors and let is in and answered questions about the Master Spas. When we stopped back in the next few days to make the purchase, Dennis got us all set up. Easy Peasy.. We were impressed and were super happy that they are 100% manufactured in the US. The pricing was very fair and they included some extras and got us set up with an initial batch of chemicals. The spa arrived in the timeframe promised (have heard nightmares about other companies) and the delivery crew was awesome and accommodating. We used their electrician Chris and he was awesome as well. Good experience start to finish. We look forward to many years with our master Spa.
Great experience with these guys. Denise the salesman was very informative and friendly. Todd worked with us to ensure there were no hurdles in getting the spa installed. Todd also worked with us to fit in delivery as soon as possible. The delivery guys were great! They took their time to make sure everything was perfect and left my yard clean with no damage at all. We purchased a hot tub back in December of 2018 with the anticipation of taking a couple months to prepare the backyard (we wanted to pick the product and plan the backyard and electrical stuff around its dimensions). The purchasing process was easy and the staff at Hot Tub & Spa Emporium were knowledgeable and patient explaining a lot of things I didnt know about and answering tons of questions. Well, our concrete pad was delayed due to all the rain we got in the early part of the year and we needed to take extra time to let it cure. The staff was patient and understanding in our delay of delivery, and once we were ready we were scheduled within the week.The delivery guys were professional, courteous, and quick! Its amazing how they were able to bring that giant thing down the side of our yard and they were great at placing it exactly where we wanted it. We love that delivery and the cover lifter were included when some of the online companies we considered do not provide that. After it was delivered the staff at the store were very helpful over the phone providing support and answering minor questions as we were figuring out how to do everything correctly. We like having a local brick and mortar location to go to for questions and products.Overall it was a great experience and weve been really happy with our purchase. We used the hot tub for several months and when it warmed up we turned off the heat so the kids (and us) could use it as a cooler relief from the hot weather.
We had been shopping around for a new hot tub until we went to Hot Tub & Spa Emporium. Brandon was extremely helpful and informative and thoroughly answered all of our questions. We still had some backyard planning to do before we made our final decision but when we were ready a few months later, Brandon upheld the original special price hed quoted. We were even able to get the newer year model. Delivery was smooth and easy and we are very happy with our experience and hot tub purchase! Would definitely recommend!

We purchased a new hot tub from Hot Tub and Spa Emporium approx 6 months ago at a show. As expected, the rep who assisted us during our evaluation at the show was knowledgeable and helpful, providing pros and cons of each of the spas we evaluated. She made the purchase a simple and painless process. No surprise here as sales people are generally quite eager to help. The true test comes later when seeking assistance with the ongoing care of the tub and buying chemicals and other products. The Hot Tub and Spa Emporium has not let us down. They have tested our water for us and have recommended the proper chemicals and measurements to adjust our waters hardness, pH, etc. Fred and Dennis have patiently offered tips on how to maintain, clean, and drain our spa. I wish their store was closer to our home, but their service and knowledge are worth the drive.

We bought a spa here and we love itWe looked at several. First we wanted a master spa based on my research.They were very helpful and continue to be helpfulThey were never pushy. We even talked with the owner during research process. They were very honest.We use our hot tub every day.
A few months ago we bought a spa for our backyard. We had never owned a spa before so we didnt really know what we were doing. The people at the store helped us figure everything out and handled the installation with no hassle at all. They taught us how to use a maintain the spa as well, which was surprisingly little as it turns out. Add chlorine and stabilizer as needed, rinse the filter when you start seeing debris not getting picked up, and empty the spa a couple times a year depending on use. So far the spa has been great and comfortably fits our whole family. If all goes according to plan we wont need another spa for a LONG time but when we do well strongly consider returning.
Salesmen was very kind and spent lots of time explaining all the features and helped us figure out what was best suited our family. Delivery went great. Tub was delivered in less then two week. Everywhere else was 6-8 weeks. We went to several other stores before finding the spa emporium. We feel we got way more for our dollar compared to other local hot tub stores.

My family immediately felt like family when we walked in to Hot Tub & Spa Emporium looking for a new hot tub. Dennis took his time to show us around until we landed on the right spa for us. He was knowledgeable and took his time explaining all the features and a long list of discounts and freebies. I’ve heard of many spa stores being compared to used car lots but Dennis was laid-back and the entire experience was very enjoyable. They gave us 60 days to get our location prepared and even helped us line up a great electrician (Shout out to Keno Electric!). Todd kept us updated as our hot tub traveled across the country from Indiana, USA. The delivery company was on time and very courteous. The staff here is friendly and not pushy. It is obvious this is a small business as opposed to a chain of stores with high pressure sales tactics. Once the sale was complete, what impressed was the set up and delivery, which required the coordination of a crane company given the lack of access to our back yard. Everything came off without a hitch, and the brand spanking new tub resides perfectly under the existing pergola. Thanks guys!

When I started my search for a Hot Tub I had already researched Hot Tub’s and had a good idea what I was looking for. When I started shopping I had a hard time getting dealers to answer questions to my satisfaction. At the Hot Tub & Spa Emporium I met Dennis. Dennis answered all of my questions to my satisfaction and they were the only dealer I visited that had all of the side covers removed from a Hot Tub so that I could see what they were talking about. The sale was quick and easy and they were even able to accommodate my short notice delivery request.
I bought my tub, first one ever, from these guys. I am an amateur, to say the least, and everyone has been so helpful at answering my many questions. They are always patient and never make me feel like Im asking dumb questions. From the sale of the tub, to my visits for chemicals, Ive always had positive experiences. Purchased my HL8 back in July. Wanted to wait a while to give my full review. First of all. The Hot Tub Emporium in Rocklin is very good place to buy a hot tub. Knowledgeable staff, professional, easy to get a hold of, and they keep you up to date and informed.I purchased my hot tub that required 7 weeks for completion and delivery. That was fine with me because I had a new patio poured and needed curing time. Todd kept me informed on the whole process and when it would be ready for delivery. My backyard does not have proper clearance so they scheduled it to be lowered into my backyard by crane. Amazing to watch at a fair price.The crew put the spa where I wanted it. Set everything up. It was filled and ready to go. All in about an hours time. It was awesome.Since that time I have been enjoying my spa almost 1 or two times a day. Keeping the water crystal clear is very easy. Minimal amounts of chemicals are required. I absolutely love my spa. I would do the whole thing again and purchase the same spa again. Thank you Todd and your staff. Glad I came by your store. We love our new Masters Spa! My husband and I recently went to research spas - features, costs, maintenance, warranties and service - since he wanted a therapy spa and I thought it would be a nice Father’s Day gift. We made the rounds with three different businesses/manufacturers and decided to purchase from Hot Tub Spa and Emporium for several reasons: 1) great description of different features, maintenance, cost and financing options; 2) lots of incentives, but no pressure to buy; and 3) the best price for the size and type of spa we wanted. We got a bonus, as well. We went in on a Friday...the spa and electricity were in by the next Thursday! Their recommended electrician was awesome, and my husband can’t stop bragging about the skill and professionalism of the delivery crew (Aloha Spa Movers). A nice local business with a good track record, we recommend you check them out!

We bought our spa from Hot Tub & Spa Emporium at one of the home shows. We had a very positive sales experience - no pressure. We were encouraged to go look at their competitors. Once we weighed all the options, we selected Hot Tub & Spa Emporium. The sales process was professional and easy. We already had a pad and just needed to get the electrical run. They held the spa while we did so. The guys who delivered it did a great job! They successfully maneuvered the spa through our tight side yard into the backyard. They explained what they were doing every step of the way. They then educated us on the use of the spa. They were very friendly and helpful. We used our spa that night and fell in love with it! We can sit in it and watch the stars. Great purchase!
Big thanks to Todd and the Hot tub Emporium team for a great experience. Purchased at a home show during a busy holiday week and from purchase to install we were sitting in our tub within a week. They were one of the few dealers that didnt spend their entire pitch bashing the competition. They listened what what we needed and thoroughly explained our options. We ended up with the HL8 which is awesome. Before and after the sale they have been extremely responsive and great. From their installers to even the electrical contractor they recommended - great buying experience across the board. highly recommend!
My wife and I decided to replace our old spa and ended up buying from Hot Tub & Spa Emporium. We got a great deal on exactly what we wanted and the transaction was quick and easy. The best part was the quick delivery and service. The three guys called ahead, arrived on time, removed the old spa, and even cleaned up the hot tub pad before brining in the new tub. They were very careful to be sure they positioned it exactly where I wanted it and were very friendly and professional. Turns out the new spa had a pinhole leak when we filled it up but they were out there the next day to fix it, filled it back up for us, and made sure not to let our dogs out. So far we are enjoying the new tub and are happy with our overall service. If we had one improvement it would be in the material used to wrap the outside. Its kind of a cheaper plastic that we worry about wearing well but we will see. Thanks to everyone for a great experience!

( look it up youll see it is the best quality/value and made in USA) live in the foothills so I contacted the store for information before going down to the showroom. I really appreciated the straightforward price and installation information. The sales associate answered all of my questions and was very helpful and courteous. Because they were so professional and the price was on point, my family drove to Roseville and bought a Nordic Stella. We got a no hassle buy with a great package and tons of extras for free including delivery. Arrived within a week to my home way out in the country. The delivery men helped place our tub perfectly on our porch. Now we are in our new hot tub every night. Best idea ever!!
My parents recently purchased a spa from here. They really enjoyed their sales person Todd Smith who was super knowledgeable. He educated them on filtration, spa durability & chemicals. There was no pressure in making a purchase and they highly recommend buying from here. Don’t forget to pet Daisy!
After shopping several places my wife and I met Todd Smith at a show in October of 2016. We purchased a spa and they held it until we were ready for delivery, which was just this month - April 2017.The delivery team was excellent, they too great care, even removed (and then replaced) a downspout to make sure they had clearance, and covered the deck with cardboard so they would not scratch it while I figured out where to place it. Their advice was very helpful!The spa looks great and I could not be happier, the whole experience has been better than expected and Todd even took a call after hours to answer a question.We need more businesses that operate like these guys do!

We bought our Master Spa hot tub in September 2018. We pretty much knew what we wanted and when we went in to the store Dennis helped us nail down the details. There was no high-pressure sales approach, but rather a helpful conversation as he answered all our questions and gave us extra information we wouldnt have thought to ask. After filling out the paperwork we had our tub delivered (our site was all ready) just one week later by a friendly and hardworking crew! Were very pleased with our experience in the store and then the response when we called and asked a few of questions a couple weeks later. We can happily recommend the Rocklin Hot Tub & Spa Emporium to anyone looking for a spa.
We were so relieved to find this store after years of looking at hot tubs all over the Bay Area - and then giving up because of pushy sales people, lack of transparency in pricing, changing information and clearly exaggerated claims, etc. Todd and Dennis were fantastic, low-key, informative, and clear about pricing. And they were incredibly patient with us as we had to delay delivery by several months because our yard wasn’t ready. We had almost given up on buying a tub but this place made it easy and stress free. Yay!
We were first time hot tub buyers and Hot Tub Spa & Emporium made the process completely seamless. There was no imposing sales pitch and they even encouraged us to look around town at local competitors. Afterwards, we quickly returned and made our purchase. All of the employees have been top notch, up front, and a pleasure to deal with during the entire process - sale, delivery, and follow-up warranty work. Because we move every few years with my work, we can only hope that well find such professionalism in this industry in the future.
Our recent visit to Hot Tub and Spa Emporium exceeded all our expectations. We were just window shopping at first but with their help we found the right spa for the right price. In less then a week the hot tub was delivered. The delivery crew was friendly and courteous. We are enjoying it in our backyard. Spa Emporium has been great to work with. We bought our spa there a year ago and they provided excellent service with getting it to us and up and running. They continue to be a great resource when we have questions on the chemicals or such. Very good service, very customer service oriented
Dennis was great - he took time on a few occasions to help us understand the differences in the tubs. We were just shopping at first and visited several other Spa and Hot Tub stores, but made our way back to Hot Tub and Spa Emporium. The extra care and knowledge of the team was fantastic. Installation was great too - In and out within a short time and we had our tub running soon after that. Awwwww!

It was pouring down rain that day and the delivery guys were in great spirits even though that had to deal with mud and rain. We also received a follow up call to see if we were happy with the service. We will recommend them to everyone!!

So glad we went with a Master Spa! Denise was very knowledgeable showed us multiple options and gave us time to think about what we wanted as well as check to see which spa would fit our space best. When it came time to purchase we were provided a sheet of vendors for various contractors (cement slab, electrical, etc). We were setup up for a successful installation!Now the spa is in place and we couldnt be happier. Extra kudos for Maki and team to the great price and excellent cement slab install. This was our first spa purchase and we are loving it! We first found the Healthy Living Series at the State Fair a few years ago and decided then that this brand was the one for us. I was thrilled to find them locally in the Rocklin location. Brandon was our salesperson and was extremely knowledgable and kind. We received a very fair price and the delivery was seamless. The delivery team were very professional and nice, did a wonderful job setting it up! As a new spa owner I had a few questions and each time I called the store they were very patient with me and answered all my questions and concerns. Purchased a Master Spas Twilight spa--our first spa purchase. Brandon was very helpful in answering all my questions, and since we werent ready for delivery until our concrete patio was poured, I was told to call a week before I was ready. Sure enough, when I called, Todd promptly arranged delivery, and the delivery crew was on time, and very professional. They covered our new patio with cardboard to move the spa into place, as well as showed us how to fill the spa. When I had a few questions after filling, the person who answered the phone at the store was very helpful, and encouraged me to call if I had any further questions or problems. I highly recommend Hot Tub & Spa Emporium!

The selection of hot tubs to choose from was astounding, but they helped us find the right one for us. When it was delivered they set it up, we then leveled it and had an electrician wire it up. Now were enjoying this fantastic healthy investment!

We had our new spa delivered on May 1st and are loving it. Hot Tub & Spa Emporium were great. They answered all our questions from purchase all the way to post delivery. The delivery was quick and seamless.
The in-store transaction was friendly and quick. The didnt try to upsell us and paid attention to what we said we wanted. The installation crew was great. We had a very challenging install but the staff was professional, friendly and determined to make it work.
If you’re shopping for a hot tub or spa to soak your wretched bone bag of a body and want someone knowledgeable to guide you through the process without over charging, come here and ask for Dennis. My husband and I were shopping for our first hot tub but didn’t know exactly what we wanted. After going to several show rooms and coming here, we immediately knew we would be buying from this dealer as he worked within our budget, listened to our needs, and didn’t try to push or oversell on anything. In fact, we came back the next day to buy an umbrella to perfect the space where we’re putting the hot tub. (All facts point to offset umbrella ownership increasing overall spa experience satisfaction, you see.) They also hooked us up with a great electrician so we’re going to be relaxing in a sweet tub real soon. Luckily, you can get yourself a similar setup if you come shop here. I should also mention that I’m a short Asian lady and they gave me a spa booster seat for free too ;)
Frank has helped us so many times since we bought our spa from him, he is always friendly and knowledgeable and does his best to get us the best products. We tried other products and chemicals, he warned us against it, and it ended with us back to him to fix it back up. Never again cheaply chemicals!!

Super disappointed! We are long term customers who have bought 3 spas from here. Our water needs to be drained. When the staff tested our water and told us the water must be drained. They did not offer a pump. There is no pump available because the guy with a key is out of town. Not the service I am used to. Sad state of affairs!

Did a lot of research to find the best spa for the money. While not the cheapest spa around, the masters spa defiantly has the best parts and is made in America. Dennis at the Rocklin store was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions an worked out a great price with a lot of extras.
