Ladies very nice to talk with, but store itself is very junkie. Literally only one person can walk down the isle at one time and then you have to turn around carefully and walk the same path out. I dont think the city would even say its safe. Cant see most of whats on display. Store looks like an episode of hoarders, highly recommend cleaning and rearranging.
Mormon Trader Antiques was a disappointment as it was recommended by several antique shops downtown. I went to find a crystal stopper for an antique cruet bottle that was my Norwegian born great-grandmother who immigrated to the U.S. in 1876. First, the store is very junky and odorous. Secondly, the proprietors sat behind the counter when I walked in; never got up to greet me. Third, the woman (owner?) said she had 100s of stoppers in her warehouse but wasnt about to show them to me. I responded, I guess youre saving them for a rainy day then? The man (husband?) got very agitated, defensive and hostile. Told me to leave. Bad manners all around. I would not recommend Mormon Trader Antiques to anyone.
I loved to interact with the owner he and i had a good chat and he was kind and knowledgeable. Lots of beautiful things ...unable to get to due the space and organization of the items
