Was very excited for donuts. when i sit down to eat them, they are old. i got donut holes and long johns. donut holes were crusty and not soft like theyre supposed to be when made fresh. long johns also were not fresh and cream inside tastes funny. not happy at all that i spent my money here. HEB has better donuts.

Very good specialty donuts and other specialties. Tastes are worth going to this donut shop. Closes at 1 P.M. and as you might suspect the choices are not as great the closer you get to closing time.

A accidental find. We seen this driving by and pulled in. We ordered some donut holes, old fashioned, cake donut, and a apple fritter. They were tasty. I would have gotten a breakfast sandwich but the flies were terrible inside there case.

An amazing place, the food is fairly cheap, but packs a genuine punch and tastes amazing. Ive gone there a handful of times, and each one was great.

Went through drive-thru so cant speak for the inside! CHEAP and QUALITY dont usually go together but here they do!!Kolaches were soft and buttery, so delicious! Really enjoyed everything as it was obviously freshly made.Also ordered a dozen donuts which were great as well! Interesting flavors and different way to make donuts than the big fast food places but trust me its better! Its fresh and not to sweet but just right.Wanted croissants but seems they were still in the oven, will be back to try those.

Tried the tiger tail and blueberry cake donuts. Gross! I couldnt eat past the first bite. I think I will toss these donuts and go to Shipleys instead. Giving two stars instead of one because the staff was nice.

Update—we’ve tried the kolaches and breakfast croissant sandwiches and oh.my.gosh they’re fantastic. The apple fritters are the best we’ve had, and we try them everywhere. We LOVE this little family owned donut place!!Friendly staff, great prices, excellent quality and truly yummy donuts (and more available that we haven’t tried yet) - this place is awesome to have in Thousand Oaks.

These guys are the best. The doughnuts are excellent and freshly made. I always enjoy a kolache and they get us in and out quickly so I can get the kids to school on time. Their friendly service means they recognize me and often have my order ready as soon as I arrive. Always enjoyable and reasonably priced!

Good donuts when fresh. But highly upset. Went and ordered five glazed, 12 holes, and a cinnamon cake donut. The same one I ordered the day before. She gave me an old fashioned cake donut. When I told her she told me that it was the same as the cake donut just baked in a different pan. Instead of just giving me the donut I asked for. They are not the same actually. A cake donut is like cake soft. No icing. Smooth. The old fashioned are a little crispier and crunchy and I dont like that. Especially when stale they are gross. They also tend to taste greasiest because of the crunchy areas if not cooked right. So for telling me a bold faced lie and not giving me the correct donut they get one star and I will probably not go back to this location although its close to me. Donuts are delicious when fresh but there are other locations so I may need to venture elsewhere.

Always wonderful. Croissant sandwiches are the best. I like mine with extra egg :) . The donut holes are my guilty pleasure. Apple fritters are fabulous! Go as early as possible, they sell out. There is a drive thru for those days when in a hurry or youre still in pjs. :) :) a jem in the neighborhood.

The donuts are very good. my son absolutely loves them but what you should be more concerned about is the excellent five star customer service. Theres been times when I just ordered one donut for my son and instead of them charging me $0.75 on my card the gentleman gave me a donut for free so that they didnt have to add a service charge. We come here often and Ive never had a bad experience. If you didnt rate them a five-star I highly recommend you give them another try and reconsider your rating because good local family-owned businesses with the type of service they have are hard to come by. thank you Donut Palace for being a part of San Antonio you guys are great!

We visited the Donut Palace on a Sunday morning because their website said they had breakfast tacos. Unfortunately, no tacos to be had. However, the gentleman working was very nice and the donuts did not disappoint - and we even got a few donut holes on the house!

It is a donut shop, and they do donuts well. The apple fritter was great too. The sausage, cheese and jalapeno kolache was just a spicy hot dog in good dough, nothing special. The coffee was the big disappointment, only one step away from strong tea...

This is a family owed store not a franchise so they take pride in their food and customer service. Im sure all their donuts are fabulous but Im partial to Apple fritters so thats all I order and they are the best Ive ever had!

Love this shop, doughnuts are doughnuts, but theyre always friendly smiling and the cinnamon rolls are melt in your mouth good when theyre fresh.

Nice local shop, the doughnuts are standard but the breakfast croissants are the best you can find. Real eggs and bacon and Flakey. Great crust

Just had 2 of their Large Kolaches, the sausage,cheese, jalapeño and sausage cheese croissant. They were really great and tasty. I believe I may have found my Kolache spot.
