The best as usual..... options where a little limited... but what do you expect folks know a good donut when they see one well worth the wait.... expect a line at the drive through.

I would recommend any Donut and/or Kolaches. You do feel a bit rushed as others have said however, at the same time there are limited staff and they are serving up their donuts warm and tasty.Good thing I dont live close - I would be there daily.

First time customer and will probably come back. We tried the original & blueberry cake donuts and the turnover. All of it was pretty good even after some got left on the counter overnight. I was surprised at how light they were. The turnover was not what I was expecting, it wasnt a puff pastry. But nonetheless it was pretty tasty.

If I could give this place a negative I would. The guy who took our order was so rude. We asked for a dozen donuts told him what we wanted. My husband said sir I think that’s a dozen and his reply was I really don’t care! When we got the donuts the order wasn’t even right. We’ve been to a lot of shipleys we won’t be coming back to this one. Ridiculous how unprofessional he was.

Shipley Do-Nuts are amazing anytime of the day when a donut crave hits! But nothing beats a warm, freshly made donut that melts in your mouth! This Shipley location has never failed to provide a clean and tidy appearance, mouth watering food served with fast, friendly service.

If you grew up in the 80s you may remember your mom carrying around a big book full of coupons. The entertainment book...anyway that thing is still around and I bought one. I love Shipleys and this is my location. The store appears clean always, and location has a drive-thru. And of course the donuts are good. But I just cant get over the fact that they refused to accept a Shipleys Donuts coupon. As a matter of fact the employees are told not to accept any coupons. Too bad they feel that way. What was funny though the employee asked me if she could keep my coupon since it couldnt be used. LoL lol lol yeah right!!! I dont think so I bought that entertainment coupon book just for the Shipleys coupons 🤪🤪🤪

Everything is always delicious and fresh not too mention the prices are decent. Even though they can be quite busy sometimes, especially around the wknd, have always received prompt and polite service. I appreciate you guys!

I saw (🪚) Kaloche Coffee on 🧱 (wall). Die-cuts used promote items. I looked at the trays and the plain sugar items look good. I was wanting to try many of the items that at a glance dont seem too sellers. Additionally, this location doesnt have Shipleys pictures on the wall (framed) showing history of the shop. I noticed a missing persons jar on the counter top. The Verizon lady says the lady at Shipleys is nice but didnt offer me to try or sample. I told her I would be back, I had no money, and asked her for a bandaid and a$1.07. She couldnt help me. The strawberry 🍓 filled looks good. The three kids and 🍼 (baby) sitter so grown up and attractive. Talking about what is chicken from Whataburger. No nuts though.

Ok now this place is amazing the lady was extremely nice and helpful we got a dozen of our choice for $7 incredible doughnuts well worth the drive very fresh and yummy

I stopped by at around 4:10am on a Monday. The staff was very friendly despite the early hour. The doughnuts were fresh and delicious. This was also the cleanest and most well-kept Shipley’s I’ve ever been to. It made a great start to my day.

Doughnuts were so soft and good, kolaches were soft but the ham was just cheap lunch meat and the sausage one tasted like a wennie, I expected a breakfast sausage. Coffee was good but I asked for a lot of sugar since I ordered 2 and I was given a lot of creamer and a few sugars.

Amazing variety, always introducing new flavors. Kolaches are great too if you get there before theyre gone. Good service, minimal wait time.

Ordered our regular order 1/2 dozen glazer and 1/2 dozen chocolate covered glazed. Weve always gotten fresh and same Suze sinus. This time they tasted day old the glazed were half the size of the chocolate covered and the chocolate was all over the place. Didnt check the order there never have had to. Got to our business meeting and they looked so sad i just the them away. Didnt feel like driving back to exchange them from Boerne.

Had to wait 12 minutes to order at the window. They were out of 3 of the 5 things I wanted. Went to another business and got what I wanted right away.

The best thing about my neighborhood Shipley Do-Nuts, is everytime I come by to get my morning kolaches, the service is fast and the staff friendly. Thats already more than you can expect from most places these days, but to have fantastic prices and great food too?I hope theyre here for many years to come. I know Ill be visiting for as long as theyre around if they dont change a thing.

Slowest Shipleys EVER. Donuts are often not hot as reflected on the hot donut sign. This location needs to ask the Shipleys in Waco for operational advice. Drive-thru staff taking orders in the drive thru lane, quick service, etc. 3 cars drove off while I was in line this morning. This shipley’s is losing business left and right due to their inefficiencies.

Being in the Army, weve been all over the US. Sunday donuts has always been our familys tradition and I can say with total sincerity that Shipleys is the best donut Ive ever had.

I was not impressed with Shipley Donuts on Austin Highway. They crammed my donuts sideways into a box. The sign said hot donuts, but nothing was hot at this location. The glazed donut just taste like dough. There was very little variety. The employee could not tell me much about the donuts at the drive-thru. Even the kolaches I ordered had a fake egg taste.

Friendly staff, donuts were hot and coffee was great. Nice quiet place to enjoy a morning coffee and relax, lobby was really clean.

Needed an afternoon snack and some coffee. Delicious, fresh (albeit on the smaller side) donuts hit the spot. Drive through took forever, hot coffee tasted old/burnt and iced coffee was like 4 sips worth of coffee and then just ice. Not awful but eh.

For a place that gets a lot of customers it doesn’t really do much. Unless you show up at the crack of dawn (and it’s a gamble even then) they will never have what you want, and the food you settle for is dry and cold. Yet, on occasion, the donuts and kolaches are fresh and warm and delicious—I think that’s why paying customers come back at all. I used to come here every Sunday as a kid with my dad, and that’s a very good memory. But the service today is so terrible that Shipley’s has literally no sentimental value to me anymore. Really bummed about this place and its wasted potential.

Go early early for hot glazed do-nuts, the only ones I buy. My sis likes the blueberry cake do-nuts...ok those are good too😊

I come here at least once a week. This location is consistently awesome. From the donuts to the service. The young man even spotted me a dollar on a Gatorade one time because they didnt have the flavor I asked for. Love this spot.

Only donut shop downtown San Antonio, tiny place and only open for breakfast hours (1 star off for that) but its clean and its nice to have it. People are always nice and donuts are always good.

This place is really good. I go here every Monday and order the same thing without saying a word. They just say the usual and get it right every time. When I take the donuts to my customers they are always asking me where I got them from. Everyone should go here for donuts!

I love the glazed donuts! Delicious. The Apple fritter and twist are huge by the way. Only thing not so great is the assorted donuts are individually priced, there is not a bulk price of you buy a dozen/hf. Dz. So it can get pricey that way, but dz. Glazed for $7 is great

This location always has friendly employees that are focused on providing good donuts quickly, accurately, and consistently. The donuts are always fresh, sweet, and fluffy. The kolaches are always hot, savory, and filling. The coffee always hot, fresh, and full.

Worst coffee I have ever had. The cinnamon roll was definitely not very fresh too. I wont go back.

I usually love this Shipleys location because the donuts are fresh. However, today I had an employee who literally went out of her way to not touch my hand. Not sure if it was racism or if she was just really odd. Either way, it was an unpleasant experience

Came for a dozen donuts. Decided to grab a few sausage and cheese kolaches for the ride back home only to find out theyre made with a hot dog(the cheap kind) and a slice of American cheese. Only reason Im giving then 3 stars is because I havent made it home yet to even try the donuts. :(

Management/owners were curt almost to the point of unfriendly and the twists purchased were doughy and not even fully cooked only saving grace was one young lady who worked there was very accommodating unlike management

This franchise on Austin Hwy has better kolaches and donuts that the other Shipleys Ive been to. Service is fast and with great attitudes despite the early hour. I really like Dunkin coffee, TBH I dont get Shipleys as its average coffee. Dunkin is too far from us so we just grind and go to Shipleys. You should do the same if you leave near this Shipleys.

Texass ubiquitous doughnut chain. Better than Winchells. Another point for Texas over California.

Should tell you about how good they are, that they are super busy on th he weekends. Not to diss Dunkin, or Krispy Kreme, but these have that home made quality that you just cant get at the national chains.Well worth the wait.
