Went to buy a refrigerator. Very good selection of fridges in stock. Salesperson was very helpful and professional. Fridge was not in stock but that is not unusual these days. Shipment from west coast will only take a couple weeks. This is much shorter than competitors. Good parking and easy in and out because they are at a light.

This is the first Best Buy Ive ever been to that has dryers/washers, kitchen appliances, vacuums, and refrigerators. The escalator to go upstairs was working, the one coming back down wasnt. Its a bit dangerous coming down the escalator because the steps are a bit steep and they almost blend into one another. There is an elevator if you didnt want to use the broken escalator to go downstairs.

These guys rock! I live on Kauai and usually have to wait a week or more to get my online orders from other retailers, but when I order from Best Buy itll pick the closest store (Aiea) and drop ship my order from there and it gets to me in as little as the next day! The team there processes my order within hours which Im sure helps get the product on the next flight over to Kauai. I may pay a few bucks more, but its well worth it for the speed at which I receive my order. They also take care in packaging my order so it arrives in good condition. Already putting together my next order!

Bought a brand new laptop, which immediately within 4 hours stopped working. Since I bought the 300$ extra protection I got a new one. Then within 24 hours that one too stopped working. Since I work AND go to school online, I needed one that wouldn’t stop working after an hour. However, after all the money lost from not being able to work, falling behind on school, and gas money, they wouldn’t do anything except exchange it for a higher priced one that I had to pay for, as they wouldn’t be bothered to help at all. Absolutely trash of service and products. Steer away to a more reputable and less under handed store that will have actual working products.

If I could give it zero stars I would! The worst Best Buy experience I have ever had. I I set up an appointment to drop off my computer with their Geek Squad. At drop-off (a Monday) for data recovery, I was told it would be ready in two days and I would get a call. On Thursday after not receiving a call, I called only to be told the work had not even been started yet and it would be ready on Saturday. I received no call on Saturday, so I called on Sunday, and it was ready for pickup. I go to the store and was told everything was transferred. I get home and none of the information was transferred. So not only was their customer service terrible, their performance was even worse! I could have taken the bad customer service if only the job had been done. I already had trepidations about Best Buy in general, but this was the final straw. I will add though, this service is about par for the course for most businesses in Hawaii.

Came in to get a new receiver for the in-wall surround sound speakers with no knowledge of what to shop for. Met Korey in the home audio section, he was fantastic and extreamly knowledgeable. He broke down the various price points and features for all of the receivers they had. He also ensured that we would be equiped for the ever changing technology of the furure by getting a unit that was capable of handling 8k technologies. Korey is the guy you should be asking for if you need any assistnace in televisions or home audio systems. Very satisfied customer, who will be back to pick Koreys brain in the future

Security/Store Policy is different here. If caught concealing merchandise they call the police and have you trespassed/banned from ALL Best Buy stores for a year, regardless even if you never left the store and still shopping. And even if your not intending on stealing.

Da best store for electronics and appliances. With not Radio Shack for strange cables, you will usuly be able to find it hear or have it shipped. Amazing customer service and they have great systems for how they setup their lines for checkout during a busy period. Highly recommend if you like tech.

Went into the Best Buy Aiea store after a family member had been scammed into purchasing and then giving away gift cards. Nyla and Gerrilyn (sp?) were great! They listened to our crazy story and helped us out the best they could. After already feeling frustrated by these scammers, both of these employees helped to soften the loss and showed there are still good people in the world willing to help others. ZERO STARS. I spent 1k on an open box MacBook Pro, I used it maybe five times. I finished up my work on it and closed it for the night, only to open it in the morning to see a crack. Took it in and they refused to take it back. Complete bs. They said I had to close it hard for that to happen. I bought it open box, you’re telling me it wasn’t abused prior? How many time has this thing been passed around, box dropped and so on? GTFOH. I’ve avoided this place for years, due to some appliance issues in the past and the attitude they seem to have, it’s not my responsibility you chose to work there. I won’t be spending anymore money at Best Buy. Period. 1k and you can’t do anything? Used car sales men like antics.

After FINALLY getting help, everything came here for was unavailable. Jabra 75t gold, Jabra 85t gold, DJI AirS2 drone(not combo package), Samsung Gear S2, Alexa Spot (round softball size with touch screen).They didnt even offer to look up stock at the other location, which I drove 2.5 times a far too avoid due to their horrible service there (or lack there of). I really love how diverse this store is getting, but their ability to keep shelves stocked is atrocious. Anything I come here I try out the demo or look at the specs and then have to buy it online from another retailer because they have zero of said item. This doesnt just apply to computer parts but cameras, tvs, appliances. Whatever the hot ticket item people are scalping right now or not, leaves a person very disappointed.

DONT BUY FROM Best Buy. I bought a 1400 dollar PC in November of 2020. Its a very good PC and broke down in about 4 months. I called the manufacturer and apparently it had a defective mother board from the get go. I figured It would be a no brainer for us to send it back and replace but how wrong I was. I called them various times and was hung up on, put on hold to many times, and was on call for about 2 hours. They refused to give us anything and said that we had to call the manufacturer to get it fixed which would cost about 400 dollars for shipping and would take around 2 months maybe if they actually get it fixed. Basically they dont stand behind the products they sell.

I want to like this place... maybe its my own fault for buying open box discounted products, not sure, but it seems like no one is actually paying attention when reboxing those products and selling them again. My TV had no wires so I bought some new ones on Amazon, ok fine. But recently bought a computer, Lenovo Yoga desktop which wasnt put back together properly and has some cosmetic issues with the case, that could easily be fixed by a tech person. When I called to ask for Geek Squad to come help me I was told I need to pack it up and drive it back to them. I dont live in a convenient area and driving my computer back to the store isnt going to happen so now Im just stuck with a broken computer. If I drive it back to the store it would be to return it entirely, which Im still contemplating, I have a week to decide. Take it from me and avoid open box products! Its more of a headache than a bargain!

I wouldnt normality review a chain electronics store, but we had such a great experience i felt compelled to share.We finally decided to buy a new TV and ended up at Best Buy. Shaun was in the TV section and politely asked if we needed help, to which we said yes. He gave us great advice, not directing us to the largest or most expensive but to the one which met our desires. Very, very knowledgeable, he helped is understand the different systems without talking down to us or making us feel stupid. He found the TV in stock, checked us out and even came out to ensure we got loaded okay.Go to this Best Buy, ask for Shaun, youll be happy.

This was my first time visiting this location. It was much larger than I expected and has a huge selection. However, it was cluttered and dirty in some areas. Boxes were lined up on the floor and I couldnt help but think, you have hundreds of thousands of merchandise in the store and you cant afford a shelf? Even though there was a large vacuum section, I was tripping over vacuum boxes in the refrigerator area... Why?Also, with the insane anount of inventory on the floor, I was expecting to find the one item I came for... Nope. I found a laptop sleeve area that was disorganized, disheveled, and lacking. There wasnt much to choose from and I couldnt find anything in my size. It was either too big or too small and I had to read each item description to figure out the pricing. On top of all that, the security alarm next to the laptop sleeve section was going off non stop and no one seemed to care. They were finally turning it off as I left.I was at office depot before but looked online and decided to give best buy a try. I should have just purchased at office depot. Lesson learned.Overall, I can now say Ive visited but unless I had no other option, I wouldnt return.

A sales person at the Aiea store no names mentioned (Sammy), was helping us, we told him what laptop we wanted and he disappears, we then see him helping another customer and yelling across the room that hell be with us in a minute. He then proceed to get the other customer his product and directs him to a counter and asked the employee at the counter to ring him up. All this time were waiting for our laptop. He then approaches us and gets us the laptop and tries to upsell us on a product we didnt need. RUDE much!! We walked out and he got no sell from us!! WT#? Management you need to train your sales people to help one customer at a time!!

Pros - Good selection and fantastic customer service. Prices are so-so, need to pay attention to sales. Cons - Sometimes customer wait time is super long. I dont know if making an appt to pickup repaired device is something they always did or byproduct of COVID. This is actually good, as I picked up my device with practically zero wait. Pickup time for my products were advertised and EMAILED to be “within 1 hour”. Showed up to place, waited in line, showed my order status, he was nice and said to just wait for a follow up email that would be coming up shortly. No complaints, I went back to my car and waited for another hour and a half. At this point the store was closed but pickups were still allowed, and so I just got out of my car to ask if my order would be ready soon. Different employee that talked to me then goes on to say the the given time on my email was “inaccurate” and to come back the next day. Wasted 2 hours of my life!

I usually love going to best buy, their store is always clean, well organized, and visually pleasing. I wish their customer service was operated more efficiently, especiallyduring the holidays. They usually have 1-2 employees working customer service but it takes the average employee 15 min to resolve a problem. So i waited in line for 30 min the other day with 4 people infront of me and the line never moved. I was upset and walked out and came back a couple days later. Thats ridiculous, people shouldnt have to wait +1hrs in line for a refund.

I visited the Aiea store on February 16th at around 11:15am. I stood in the customer service return line, and was helped by an employee by the name of, Johnette. As she was helping me, I noticed that she was giving me a bit of an attitude. While she was helping me, She was trying to put the charger cord back into the box, and I explained to her that it wasnt going to fit, she said Yes It Will with an attitude, I told her that it was hard, she then said No Its Not also with an attitude, to which I replied, well it is for me. She then gave me an attitude saying that I was past my return date, which I wasnt, and showed her proof. She kept saying that she doesnt understand why it was telling her something different, as if I was lying to her. After she got someone to override the return, I asked her, politely, if she could dispose of my old store credit card, to which she told me, once again, with an attitude, that the trash was right there. I dont know the reason she was treating me the way she was, but I most certainly didnt deserve it!Id also like to say that I tried multiple times to call the store and speak to a manager, and both times I was on hold waiting for someone to answer for over 30 minutes, before ultimately giving up. In my honest opinion, the Aiea store has very poor customer service!
