Our waitress was amazing! We went there cause my husband wanted fried taters. I got a BLT and onion rings, they were great. My husband got his big breakfast with taters, eggs and sausage. There were other customers, that seemed like regulars, that were so friendly. Fast service, great food. We had a really nice breakfast/lunch meal and had a good time. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of the employees and the customers

What a little gem of a restaurant here. I have stumbled across. Now I am learning their schedule and eating here often. I love this place. Its quaint and quiet and the staff is absolutely wonderful and the cook must be underpaid. The food is always perfectly cooked. And the fish there is awesome to cant say enough about this place and the staff and how clean and nice it is.
This was my first time visiting this diner. I was seated immediately it was around lunch time. Very friendly wait staff. Appropriate use of masks and separation of the tables with dividers. I had the blimp waffle which consisted of a Belgian waffle two eggs choice of meat hash browns. The waffle was especially good the texture was just right. The bacon was thick cut and cooked to perfection I had asked for extra crisp hash browns and they came out that way also one note what they consider hash browns is more of a home fry but slightly smaller pieces of potato it is not a shredded hash brown. It was still very good though. Breakfast was cooked to perfection the wait staff was extremely attentive keeping my coffee and water filled at all times.
Clean, friendly. NOT the best salads in town as stated on the menu. BUT! I probably should have ordered diner food as I was at a diner. I just thought, well, theyre bragging about them, lets give it a go! The comfort food that others ordered looked good!

First time visiting this place. Went for breakfast. Its a nice restaurant, clean.Taste of the food was average. Portions were small for the price.I did have to send back my sausage links, they were very cold.
The only good thing i can say about this place is that the waitresses are very nice, other than that, the food is absolutely 100% horrible. I love eating at the local diners in the area, most of them have very good food for a reasonable price, this place however is neither, especially when compared to others in the area, Dees, Fa Rays even Lukitys to name but a few. They use little to NO seasoning, it tastes WORSE than hospital food ( I didnt even think that was possible ) i mean seriously who puts tomatoes in green beans, YUCK!!! The open faced roast beef is just AWFUL, they use sliced roast beef instead of actual pot roast meat, lazy AND cheap. Essentially, if you want horrible food for inflated prices with good service this is the place for you. However, if you are looking for good food for a good price AND good customer service PLEASE try one of the other diners in the area, your stomach will thank you for it.
Like home made comfort food. Beef tips and noodles yum. Liver and onions yum. You cant find friendlier wait staff. Prices are very reasonable.
I read this place had good food that was not the case. I ate a chicken salad that was not well put together. The salad came out in 30 seconds which tells me the chicken was not cooked fresh. Not a hard thing to do. It was mostly greens. I am going to help out this restaurant. The chicken coop salad sounds interesting. Add some fresh roasted corn or grilled corn. The egg should be Sunnyside on top use the yolk to add depth. Add more fresh veggies like green and red peppers and avocado. That would make it a lot better.

I have been eating at the Coventry Dinner for 12 years, best sirloin steak and eggs w potatoes in town, automatic breakfast when I walk in, great fish dinner, burgers are perfect, actually, what ever I order is well prepared and delicious, Lou and his staff are ALWAYS polite and serve your needs.
Very good food at good prices. Wednesday nite is all all you can eat fish. Friendly waitresses. Taste like home cooking. You wont be sorry.

I ordered the blueberry pancakes and they were good but I was disappointed that they didnt have blueberry syrup. I really wanted sausage gravy and biscuits but they didnt have them on the menu. I thought that was pretty much a staple for any diner that serves breakfast.
Always get a good cheap breakfast. Great service an great food for a little local diner. Kelly is a great server. One of my husbands favorite places to go for breakfast.

I meet my son for lunch here every Friday and I have never been disappoint.The Friday Fish specials are delicious and generous. The staff is always friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The French Onion Soup is very good. I havent their deserts but they always have a good selection of Pies listed on the board.

Not to bad, I was a little disappointed when I ordered a chopped steak but they forgot to put the mushrooms on, seen the cook leave then come back with a bag from save a lot . Waitress said he must of forgot. Kinda of sucks cause I was looking forward to getting mushrooms. We got a 10% discount on the check.

Will never dine there ever again!! We ended up taking it to go because the husband got sick, plus i think she over charged us, anyway get home opened the container the home fries were over fried & tasted old. Hubby gave his to our dog. I ate the ham, eggs & toast. Threw rest in trash..😠😡

This wont be one of my favorite restaurants. I had the tilapia and it had a funny un-fish like taste to it. My wife had beef stew which was supposed to have potatoes in it but there were very few potatoes and the stew didnt have a lot of flavor.
