Acme did our wedding cake and I was BLOWN AWAY. They did such a beautiful job. The cake was delivered to our venue on time with absolutely no issues and it looked exactly like the reference picture I sent them…actually…it looked BETTER than the reference picture. They were so easy to work with even in the midst of Covid. Definitely recommend them over ANY other cake shop! Amazing experience.

The prices are to high and you cant self check out with an Acme card. I wont shop there again. Employees are snobs not helpful. Citizens bank employees are great. Very nice and wonderful people.

This store deserves a bit higher then the 2 stars. However, the overwhelming smell of sewage keeps me from going in here unless I absolutely have to. Friendly environment, helpful employees, clean, and have a decent selection.

Ive been going there since they built it, in the 60s, maybe 70s. Still a very nice store.

I dont really know what to say. Its clean. It has most everything that you need. Its not as expensive as Giant eagle. Its not the acme on Manchester road so therefore it doesnt lack in produce or selection. It also has a state liquor agency on hand. Lots of toilet paper in stock. All around a good place to go for your pandemic needs 🤣😭

Does acme location used to have clothing and they phased it out. But they still have t-shirts and some smaller articles such as socks and things of that nature. All in all its a well managed and well laid out store. You can pretty much find anything you need I believe at this location. Its in a plaza in Coventry with a lot of other businesses nearby. I like the location because its close to the Portage lakes. Speaking of that, there is a six or seven foot long largemouth bass mounted in the entryway. Youve got to see this to believe it.

Just moved to the area had to grab a few things. No help received in self check out. Kept asking me for a card I don’t have. Acme is known for their meat sales. I went there for the sale of Coke was the best price around.

Prices decent, employees friendly. One question that i guess applies to most stores today, what ever happened to Do you need help out to your car with your groceries? With a lung, back, AND heart condition, i have struggled to unload my cart while two or three young male employees stand on the walk with their arms crossed watching me, then run up when im done and grab the cart.

Coming into the store it looks a bit cluttered the floors were not very clean and as you walk through the store it doesnt flow well, its to many things are in the way.Its like an obstacle course walking around everything to get to produce meat all the essential things in the store.The layout of things in the store were not very well thought out.

That is not normal. They both need serious help...Wouldnt care if she was doing this to anyone else but my friend hes a man with the worlds biggest heart ever...She shouldve been honest since the beginning with him and none of this wouldve happened.

I went to the store and they didnt let me in because of the way I look. Beaver lives matter! Just because I look like this does not give you the right not to let me come inside! I am just a human, Im pretty sure... And just because I have fur instead of skin does not make it right not letting me come inside. Once they started talking they were probably both confused and overwhelmed so they didnt know how to react. Couldnt even exchange numbers in 3 months, are you kidding me? This explains why. When entering this Acme the general ambience is slightly uncomfortable due to the general amount of people that are around the entrance. The employees tend to be pretty young which automatically makes them a bit hard to approach, but the cashiers always end up being extremely nice and friendly. Having and Acme card grants you lowered prices and access to the self checkout, but if you dont have one either the patrons or the workers will provide you with one. This location keeps their store extremely well stocked and organized. Its easy to find what youre looking for and the checkout process is fast even if the lines are long. Their live plants seem to be well cared for and healthy.

So they removed around twenty or so reviews each time we mentioned that it was her fault. So lets say that it is the managements fault and it most likely is. The thing that she has done to him, he would have never done that to her so therefore it is her fault. That right there basically makes anna an awful person. Great place, has all your wants and needs.

Acme is fine. Theyll have the groceries you need. They are the most expensive grocery store in the Akron area in my opinion and the brand varieties are more limited than Giant Eagle and Walmart. Even sale prices are high. They lose one star for that. The employees are kind, and they clearly have a loyal shopping base because they stay busy. No long lines. I definitely notice and appreciate that. They hire enough employees to serve their customers in a timely manner. The stores are clean. I will also say that they keep a fresh produce section. When you get the fruits and vegetables home, you have plenty of time to eat them before they begin to go bad. They have delicious prepared foods. Their bake shop is the best. They do an AMAZING job with cakes, definitely beating out the grocery competitors in that area.

First an older woman named anna tried so hard to get my friends attention. He felt bad for her so he started talking to her. She would spend hours not working and talking to him at the self checkout. He more or less talked to her because it was making her happy and according to him shes been through a lot in her life although I doubt it. She also made rumors that she was in a relationship with him which was a lie, all he did was talk to her because according to him for whatever reason he wanted her to be happy in her life. With 3 or 4 hours of sleep each night he would spend an hour just to make her smile by talking to her. Dont know why anyone would do this but whatever, he is my friend. She now thanks him and shows him gratitude by arguing with him in front of everyone each time he goes to the store. Thats like biting a hand that feeds you. He also offered her protection that you wouldnt even get from the president.

Nice store with a decent layout. Prices cant compare to my go to, Aldi, but its a trade off for having 15 kinds of peanut butter.Employees are friendly and helpful. I just wish ownership/management treated them better. My mother worked in the Deli for Acme (not this specific one) for over 30 years and Ill be gracious in saying they made her departure difficult.Support your local businesses!

Wed love to remove all the reviews about the two particular people but nobody remembers their pass. Think all we did was ruin both their reputations. We was upset because our clan leader was not in a good mood which put the rest of us in a bad mood too. We made it a big deal because Blood is very well respected and we wanted to protect our leader.

We use to be regulars there but after my three year old got food poisoning from the hot food department! My little angel suffered 13 days from their raw fried chicken.

First time here and I haves to say it is a good store and the peoples are very nice here. If there is any issue with rude peoples I takes care of it. The gas station is nice too. I am glad I came here. I want to work as security here because I like to protect peoples

When another store made a cake that was nothing even close to what I ordered,my daughter went to this store to try to find a cake. This bakery staff went above and beyond my expectations and decorated a super cute cake at the last minute. I am so grateful to them and cant thank them enought. More than a 5 star deserved!

The only reason he spoke to you was because he felt sorry for you and he wanted to make you feel happy and better about yourself. You are arguing with someone that wouldve gave their life for you. He also said he would rather die of starvation than start an argument with someone that he clearly cared about. From what were seeing you are doing this because of management since you made up way too many lies, you gotta continue with your fairytales and stories. Stop living in an imaginary world, they dont care about you.

Havent been there in a few years. Only thing I didnt like was how spread out everything is in the store. My daughter asked if the fish on the front wall was real. I couldnt stop laughing 😂. Was in the store recently three times on different days. I noticed the carts were just put back in place for someone else to use. Are you not breaking the Governors orders by not furnishing a sanitary means for the public to keep these carts and themselves safe? I wont tell anyone because I think your store has been and is serving the public but you got to do something about this before someone does.

Visited this store the weekend before Christmas during a pandemic. Cant say enough good things. Weekly sale products in stock. Clean, sanitized, with friendly staff and best of all enough checklanes open!

Used to be my favorite store, now have to go all the way to Norton Acme.... east Ave has been running out of a lot of product and havent been getting it back...and its a lot of things and food we always buy...I live the staff...just not the empty shelves.
