I had 4 new tires put on that I ordered from Tire Rack. Timothy provide excellent customer service by answering all of my questions that had about mounting new tires. I really appreciate the service and will plan to return soon.

We busted a water pump on our way home from TN. They were able to get us up and running as quick as possible. Russell was our mechanic. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

After having driven over a large piece of debris on the high way in the middle of the night, we asked NTB Alabaster for help checking to ensure our tires were okay and no other damage was done to the car. Mr. Kenny and Mr. Timothy were extremely helpful and kind. We waited about 5 minutes before the car was placed up on the bridge and inspected. Timothy saw a short piece of a nail that was in the front left tire but luckily hadn’t punctured the tire. Mr. Kenny said if we’d driven on it for a long time it would probably have caused damage. He didn’t charge us for the inspection and wished us well on our trip. Definitely recommend this shop for excellent customer service, professionalism, and cleanliness.

I visited the Alabaster, Al location after concerns for what I witness at another location with staff, other customers and my cars assessment. Tim and Mgr Brad are so professional, they were quite helpful in the diagnostic process and advise me I only needed air in my right front tire oppose to an $805 bill I almost incurred from an estimated bill of $650 from another NTB location. I thank God for the mind to check with another location.Tim and Brad, your kindness and honesty did not go unnoticed.I am a 63 of age widow and I rely strongly on my dealership and NTB for my cars service. Disappointed but so grateful. Thanks guys and keep up the great service!

On a long haul trip with our travel trailer, our tires started shredding! They had us back on the road in an hour with four new trailer tires. Great price, great service, friendly staff!

My husband took my car to get an oil change a couple of weeks ago and they also balanced and rotated the tires... so they said. The next day when I drive it I could immediately tell something was wrong. My drive was very bumpy and my steering wheel would shake when I was on the interstate. We took it to Firestone to have them figure out what was wrong. They had rotated my tires and not balanced them. The guy said the weights were old and there was no way they balanced them the previous week.

I had a good experience with this business. The Employees were nice and professional. I had the oil changed in my 93 chevy Silverado and it was done quickly and the technician was very nice. I had questions about other maintenance issues and he went above and beyond and was honest about his findings. I dont know about their other services but as far as My personal experience it was great!

I came in for new tires, and an oil change. The guys here took GREAT care of my car! I’ll definitely make the drive anytime I need anything for my car. Absolutely worth it!

They are either crooks or do not know what they are doing. I bought my tires there and had to take my car to get a couple screw holes patched. They tired to tell me they were to close to the sidewall and tired to sell me a new tire for $250, but I already knew where the holes where and knew the manager was lying. I took my car to a different shop and they easily patched it for $25. I will never step back foot in the Alabaster location and would not recommend going there to anyone.

Update---NTB Customer Care reached out to me after I submitted the complaint through their contact us form (thanks to the owners response below). I have now been offered a free oil change. The corporate guy went above and beyond to reach me (multiple emails and then a phone call). I really wasnt going to accept anything because all I wanted was a tire fixed. But because they went out of their way I will increase the rating to a 2-star. I dont typically change my original ratings. Read the original post below to see why they were a 1-star originally.Original Post-----Customer service from the front office lacks!!! Today at 5:40 PM my wife called NTB from their parking lot. She called and asked to have our tire patched. My wife explained that she just picked up a big screw from debris from an accident that had happened from the nearest major intersection. The lady responded and told her that there were 2 customers ahead of her and that they couldnt take her today and to come back tomorrow at 8am. She let them know we were in their parking lot now. Interesting thing is that only 1 car was pulled into the shop. Still not able to help today. In my opinion it doesnt take a long time to patch a tire, and this could have been done. I am disappointed in their response to help out.

They’ve always done right by me

I arrived with a nail in my tire and the tire hissing. I had put air in my tire with my own compressor and put tape across the nail to make it to alabaster. I was told 280 and summit had the tire. I was told it wasnt leaking that fast and was sent on my way. I had to add more air and tape and risk the trip to Galleria without any help.

One to one and a half weeks ago I found tires on the website “in stock”, so I made an appointment, the appointment was for a whole week later. I arrive only to be told “it’s not showing that the tires are here, no they are in Atlanta.” If you don’t have tires, that your website said you have, take them off your website. This is the third time I have wasted my personal time with these incompetent people. How do you stay in business? I took time off work to get this done and yet again NTB disappoints. Will never recommend or use again!!!

Awesome! I made an appt. and got in and out in a timely manner. I definitely recommend NTB.

I called about getting tires and making an appointment. The tech made me an appointment for that Saturday at 11:00. I went only for them to tell me AFTER theyd taken my tires off the rims, my new tires had been sold. So he made me another appointment for the next Saturday and assured me I would still get the 12 months same as cash. I went and when Im checking out, AFTER my tires were mounted that I could NOT get 12 months same as cash, I could only get 6 months same as cash because I had not spent enough to get it. I told the tech that I will never return to NTB. I am a widow and this will put a strain on me financially.

Had tires replaced and drove all the way back from Alabaster to Ozark, Al. Turns out they didn’t tighten the lug nuts and lost two of them while driving. The other three were loose also and had to be tightened. Highly don’t recommend.

It took about an hour and half to change my oil, rotate my tires, and align the front end. A full synthetic oil change is $69.99, I guess this is the labor only because they charged me an additional $11.00 per quart for 4.22 quarts of oil. The price to balance the tires is $9.99 per tire... Not $9.99 total or $25 total which would seem a little more fair, but basically $40 to balance the tires. Ive never been to a chain mechanic shop, any of the national brands, that do all forms of mechanic work, and made it out of the building without them trying to sell me on new tires... The tires that I have now are less than a year old they do have some uneven wearing on the tires but do not need to be replaced. Everyone that I dealt with was nice and did a good job of trying to explain things, but they were terribly slow. I would understand if I went during peak hours, but I was there at 6:00 in the afternoon on a Wednesday, and I was the only person there, my car was the only car on the racks. There were two technicians and 1 front desk sales agent. It literally took an hour and a half to do the work. The only reason I went was because the mechanic that I normally use, has been snowed under with work, and I could not make it to him during business hours, my vehicle was way past due on an oil change, and Im going out of town and had to have the work done that night.

The staff was so nice and extra helpful to our family from Illinois on a hot and sunny Sunday afternoon. Not only did they have the tires we needed, but they made sure to get us in and out quickly and get us back on our family vacation to Florida. Thank you so much for your kindness that went above and beyond the call of duty. We cant thank you enough!

Never seem to get out of these places without spending more than you want but the work is top notch and the no interest finance options are a big help.

Cannot thank these guys enough. We were headed home to Nashville just before they closed and my mom had a blow out on 65. They were tied up with a big job and still fixed her tire in minutes to get us on the road. Awesome guys and wonderful service!! Highly recommend.

Stopped by needing a simple tire repair. I explained that this was an emergency situation with someone at the hospital and I needed it as fast as I could. The reply was that if I would leave it with them that they would Get to it when they could. They would not even give me an estimated time for the repair. I have bought several sets of tires there but never again. Went to Express Tire and Auto on HWY 119 and the jumped on it right away. Tire fixed and great service.

I called about an hour out that I had a leaking tire that had gone flat on the highway (but I was able to get it to the shop on a couple fill ups from my portable air compressor). I got to the shop and was told it would be a while, understandable. I left it with them for about an hour, they patched the hole they said, and would all be good to go. I guess they messed up the patch, or didn’t test it, because the very next day I woke up to the tire completely flat again. I took it to another NTB, and they fixed it and it hasn’t given me trouble since (about a week). Careless service and not thorough it seems.

Overall, I was very impressed with the service here. Roosevelt (who OBVIOUSLY knows his stuff) answered all of my many questions and made the experience less painful. Another associate helped draft an estimate for some recommended repairs (the motivation for which they were happy to show me on my car). This was very helpful, but the reason Im giving a 4-star rating is that while the labor was priced fairly for the work, the markup on the recommended parts was quite high. I am not very experienced, but higher markups DO come with a guarantee (which NTB offers). So, take the 4-star rating with a grain of salt; the service itself was great!

They were wonderful and fast. I brought my 3 yr old and they had Disney channel for her. And if anybody has a toddler the room with TV in this situation is much appreciated!

Had a slow leak in one tire. Have 55000 miles on it and tires have good tread. I expected them to try and sell me new tires which they said they would but I still have many miles left. So they made a patch and I was on my way. Very friendly, courteous, and most of all honest

Very seldom do I take the time to write a review BUT I wouldve done NTB a disservice if I didnt. I cannot say enough good things about ROOSEVELT. He has my car riding smoother than it has since I bought it in 2011. No joke. Excellent customer service and skilled mechanics - A+!

The staff at NTB was very courteous and professional. I arrived around 5:40 on a Sunday afternoon needing a new tire put on my vehicle. They closed at 6:00 but they still put my tire on for me. Every staff member was very helpful. I didnt even know this location was here in Alabaster. I will return to them for all of my tire needs. I was very pleased with the service I received.

I have been bringing my vehicles to NTB in Alabaster for a year now. The personal service and honesty I receive here is refreshing to experience in the auto repair industry. Rodney, Aaron & Roosevelt never push, are straightforward and always bring me out to the bay to show me exactly what they are recommending and why. I am confident in their work and trust that I am NOT being taken advantage of.

I was able to drop my vehicle off the night before to replace the alternator, and they had it ready within the first 2 hours of reopening the next morning.

Took car in for battery which was over 5 years old, suspected needed a new alternator. Told me they would look at it but it would be hours before they could work on it. Told them I would wonder around and to call. Walked away for 15 minutes called another place that said they could do it right away went back and they already had my car pulled in and apart. Quoted almost $1000, I told them I wanted to leave and service manager said I would not get anywhere and they had to jump the car to get it in. No explanation about how hours turned into minutes. Quote was way high told them to put the battery in and I would have the alternator put in somewhere else. I feel skeptical as he told me it would be hours before they could get it in but as soon as I walked off the property they had it in the bay working on it. Quote almost $500 higher than competitor.

A little pricey for service. Had to wait a whole day to get a nail in my tire plugged, that didnt work so I needed a whole other tire 2 days later. They also said my back brakes were bad, which was true but they wanted 600 bucks! I feel like I shouldve gotten 26 back for the plug that didnt work and also since I had to wait so long. Kept pushing me to get a credit card to cover the 600 bucks. I just got my tire put on and left. Got my brakes fixed at a shop closer to my house for 184, works just fine.

Watch out!! I went to get my wheels balanced from Jemison and when they were finished they told me I need a need alternator. I told no I dont but I went on my way home my car died on the way. They disconnected my alternator and wanted to charge me for it. I connected wire back up and it worked fine. Watch out they will try to scam you.

Update today. Very dissatisfied today. Second time in two visits that they have damaged a tire stud upon rotating or changing a tire. Of course they charged $178 to repair and would not use a stud purchased from a parts store. Dont be fooled by low tire price. Quality includes good service and accepting responsibility.

Clean and spacious, courteous staff. Great if you need simple oil change and tires, but Id go to my dealership for anything more serious. They send great discount coupons. Would recommend.

Sadly we took our car for brake repair as our mechanic we have used for years is closed due to surgery. Price quoted was extremely high and we immediately discussed it and decided to take the car for a second opinion. We were told it was too late as they had already started the work. They were extremely rude to top it off. Also we were told we needed two back tires - which we had just been told the week before were in good shape so we know they are not truthful. So we paid way too much and since then have been researching our neighborhood site and have found terrible reviews for this company.and reports of work not holding up with many warnings not to go there. Never again........lesson learned the expensive way. Just praying the works holds up.

The manager and staff at NTB were fantastic. Our traveling group had an emergency and they took care of us with no hassle and were incredibly gracious. Would highly recommend to anybody in the Alabaster area. Courteous staff and extremely knowledgeable.

Im changing my original review due to damage found on my rims. So far they have acknowledged the damage and seem eager to fix the problem. Ill change my review once again, pending them actually doing this. Ive added a star. Plans are now in place to repair my rims. *update* I just got my car back from the shop that fixed my rims. They are now in the same or better shape than before. NTB did pay for the damage. However, Im not changing the review stars any higher as Ive thought about it, long and hard. I simply cant recommend them for tire work. Sure the guys that work there are probably capable of doing fantastic work, but they didnt this time. Everyone I talked to was professional, even giving the situation. So as it sits, yeah, they may damage your rims, they may not. But atleast they will pay to repair them if they do.

My dealership assured me I could get by on the same tires until December, but a Friday afternoon blowout on the interstate proved that to be false. I was stuck with three tires and a doughnut until Monday when Id have to take a day off of work to deal with this - or so I thought. I called and spoke with Brad, who assured me he could take care of it over the weekend. He was laid back and presented me with multiple solutions so I could choose the one that worked best for me. True to his word, he took care of my car over the weekend and I didnt have to miss work. I will definitely be returning to this NTB.

Went for a rotate and balance but I had to get 2 new tires because my tires were bald...I had no idea. I appreciate their thoroughness.

Newer management is a lot more helpful and, I dont know about the last employee but I dropped my debit card in the parking lot when I was dropping off a vehicle and they made sure to put my debit card in their mailbox for me after hours so I can get it, honest people

Store #851 in Alabaster,AL saved my life!!!! I had a blow out (with my 3 children in the car!!) and called NTB within 30 minutes of them closing. Shaun, the Service Manager on duty, picked up the phone and immediately sympathized with my situation. With only two employees on staff (including himself), and multiple cars that were still needing to be worked on, he still told me to bring my vehicle in. Not only did he stay open late to complete my service, he exhibited excellent customer service the entire time! I highly recommend NTB #851 to anyone looking for quality service!

One of the worst experiences with a tire place by far! I had an issue with one of my brakes and they refused to even look at until the next day. I was travelling and couldnt stay the night. They were not busy. They didnt close for at least 4 more hours. They wouldnt even tell me another place that works on tires in the area! They were very rude and flippant. I finally found another place and they took 5 min to look at my car and fix it.

I was very reluctant to go to get my tires mounted and balanced, but their hours fit my schedule. I was used to another shop. My first NTB experience was a good one. The staff was friendly and the building was very clean.

Had two positive encounters with them before this bad one. Waited four hours for an oil change. They didnt end up charging me cuz I complained but still entirely too long

I called to get a price on 4 tires and it turned out to be almost double what I saw online. I asked for a breakdown of the cost and found out that I was also being charged extra for TPMS sensors (fancy valve stems that monitor your tire pressure). I requested the cost without the TPMS sensors and was told that federal regulations made it mandatory for me to purchase them with every new set of tires. I didnt think that was true and called another NTB and confirmed that the is no such regulation and I did not have to purchase the TPMS sensors.

They worked me in when they didnt really have time. Great service!

Asked them to hand torque lug nuts for fear that they would over torque with air ratchet. they ignored what i asked and stripped two lugs(found when i got home). also basic tire balance is wayyyy overpriced.

Brought the same car in 4 times for a professional patch on a tire on my 2014 jetta and now its leaked down again in a period of time of two months, which would be 5 times i have had the same tire fixed at the same location i bet this time i will stand beside them to see this hole that mysteriously appears every 2 weeks ., by the original hole come on guys just admit that the tire has a warranty on it still from the manufacture and replace it .,the dealership where the car was purchased said just have ntb replace it and still they patch it everytime and charge 20.00 each time contacted corporate to let them know of this they will call back after two days. Let me help you help me the tire is a continential 195/65/r15 order it put it on the car and i will post a different review and everyone wins besides the manufacture will pay you for the tire anyway just swallow your pride ntb in alabaster and fix this.

Went in for an oil change. 5k miles later I go to do it myself and realized they didnt put oil on the new filter so it siezed, and was tightened down SO hard that it literally bent the quarter inch metal plate that is on the back of the filter where you thread it into the block. Needless to say I will never go back. Its simple mistakes like these that cost you so MUCH MONEY.
