Brought my car in for an insurance claim. Everything went as smooth as can be and the customer service was great. They were always in communication with me on the status of my car and they were all very friendly. The quality was super and they fixed in on time as promised. They even offered to drive me to get a rental, but I didnt need the service.

Dewey and Hector are two professional auto body repair coordinators. They delivered on their promise to get our car back within a day. Our passenger side window was shattered and needed replacing. The window was ordered the sameDay and installed the following day. They offered to arrange a car rental and store our car overnight since we do not have a garage. They kept me posted on the repair progress throughout the day.When we picked up our vehicle it literally looked like it had been detailed!I cannot thank them enough for the quality experience. I came here again because they always do great work on my vehicle. I got ceramic coating on my new Jeep. It was excellent! I took it the snow after letting it dry for a week and you cant even tell that i went! None of the dirt that usually sticks to the car stuck. They always do great work. Whenever I need body work I dont shop around I go directly to Kevins AAB.

One of the few times I’ve felt compelled to leave a review! Great service on short notice. I dropped off my wife’s Yukon after it had stopped blowing cold air. There were two likely issues: 1) lack of Freon 2) compressor needed replacing.The front office staff were very pleasant and although they primarily do body work, they were more than happy to help. The ran a diagnostic on the Yukon and determined the compressor was not the issue, and that it simply had nearly zero Freon inside the system.The charged it back up, WASHED IT, and called me to let me know it was ready to go. Awesome customer service. A really great team in the office and the shop.Thanks; you’ve just earned a new customer.

Top notch first rate service for engine and auto body needs. Kevin and his crew are detail oriented, honest, and flat out solid people. To me this is worth its weight in gold. James was the fellow who worked on my truck and with high miles it is running better than ever. My family will be taking their vehicles here when needed. What with all the great reviews I guess my bad experience is a rare one. Good thing. I will give them the benefit of the doubt. My experience never needed to happen and I hope it hasnt since. I had my rocker panel and rear bumper repaired and painted. Very expensive out of pocket even with my insurance. What was supposed to take 4 days took over a week. Damage was done on finished car while being detailed. While being repainted my leather seat was slashed with something sharp and my headliner along back window fell down.Now I will say... Hector was AMAZING ! Kept me calm....arranged a rental for me then had both the seat and headliner repaired. Thank you HECTOR !!

Last Friday the carriage that supports the bumper of my 2004 Z3 BMW fell after hitting the bumps to slow cars down and was dragging. I called my insurance company and had a bad experience with getting the car towed. I would not recommend Liberty Mutual after this bad experience.Finally, the next day the car was towed to Alameda Autobody. Diane and Hector immediately took care of all the paperwork and one of the employees even gave me a ride home. Such a fresh air of kindness after a stressful situation. To top it off, they found a way to attach the carriage without replacing it which would have been at least a $1,000 or more Im sure.The car was ready Monday evening and the owner Ty even picked me up from my home as I live in Alameda, but it reminded me of how things should be done with personal caring. You dont see much of that these days! I can only end with saying if I could give more than 5 stars, I certainly would.PS The car was washed when I picked it up!!

This is my second time using them and they still did not disappoint. Even though my insurance is crappy, they made sure they were very hands on and didnt leave me in the dark on anything. They even were very considerate in the fact that I was I a rental car that I had to pay for, so they made sure my car didnt have to stay in their shop for any extra days than it needed to since my insurance was being super low on there and. I had the best experience working with Alameda Auto Body Shop. They kept me updated on the status of my cars repair. It took a while, but that was not their fault. The parts came in piece by piece, day by day. They did a beautiful job on the repair, looks like new. It should too, its a 2016 Fiat with only 3500 miles on it. Thank you Alameda Auto Body!

Unfortunately I brought my minivan here several times and each time I received excellent customer service. They make me feel like their favorite customer. Car care is top of the class. Communication level is better then the collections agency, lol. They are on top of my needs, work in a timely manner and keep me posted as time goes or changes occur. I have even came out on my own without the whole insurance claim, just because they are that great.

I had the top cab of my truck painted after raccoons had scratched the surface and caused it to peel and rust. The estimate I was given was wonderful. The work they performed looks awesome like new, and was done within a weeks time. They also detailed my interior for me. Their paint is a lifetime warranty for as long as I own the vehicle. The people are down to earth and very informative. I highly reccomend this shop to everyone.

My first experience with this Alameda Auto Body was over the phone and they were going to close in 5 minutes. instead of rushing me off of the phone and insisting that I bring my car in tomorrow so that they could look at it. They sat on the phone and answered all of my questions about how they would handle my insurance claim. Once I decided to come on in. This put me at ease so i brought my car in that week. I had a pleasant experience with Alameda Auto Body. Dropped my car off on Wednesday to repair my broken lift-gate and got it back by Friday morning. Though there was a one day delay to pick up the car, due to an employee calling in sick, they were responsive and helpful to get the job done. They gave a diagnosis, worked with my budget and even removed unnecessary upgrades from the bill. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

I had the rare and formidable dual claim: front and rear end damage caused by 2 separate accidents, dueling adjusters, tons of paperwork, etc, and all while I am going through a difficult situation. I had two unfortunate situations with my 2007 Corvette, which is a Victory Red color. My car was struck by a lot of gravel from the freeway by an insane driver driving 100 mph on the shoulderThrowing up a ton of debris, which hit everywhere on my car. They had to repaint my car, new headlights, windshield and fog lamps from all the chips from the rocks. They were great to work with and did a beautiful job on my car, which was not an easy color to deal with. They worked with the insurance quickly and got the work done quickly and professionally. Two months later I returned without hesitation bcZ someone backed into my car. Again, they took care of it and did a 5 star job. I had Kevin do a personal job to paint my frame on the console to Match the car and it came out beautiful. I get lots of great comments on my car and tell them where I had it done. This place is awesome. I was in a state of distress, major distress when Brandon and the other workers saved the day and releived me of my worries. Also, why I was battling the insurance companies, they were patient and willing to work with me, keep my vehicle in their garage with no worries. Kevin is Amazing and does great work. He takes pride in making sure your vehicle is up to par and good standards.I will definitely be back when I need auto body work done. They did a terrific work and Kevin has lots of specialized training in the auto body area. ex. welding I have a 2013 Chevy Camaro. Its my baby and they had her back looking brand spanking new like nothing ever happened.

I brought my car into Alameda Auto Body after it was backed into in a parking lot. When I initially called, they told me I could bring my car down right away to have it checked out. They looked the car over, wrote up my estimate, and after agreeing to the estimate, I dropped the car off 2 days later.My rear bumper needed to be replaced/repainted, side panel and rear door removed/repainted. They gave me a really great and reasonable estimate - I had taken my car to 2 other places for estimates(since it was through the other fault-parties insurance) and they were almost doubling or tripling their estimates. Alameda Auto Body is legit and honest with their customers.My car was estimated to take about 2 weeks, and it ended up only taking them about 8 days, which is great! They also have an automated system that sends you text and/or email updates on your car and the repairs as they are being completed, which is AHmazing for people running 24-7.I would highly recommend using this shop - they are friendly, work incredibly well with you, great pricing, and seem to have a family-owned type mentality with anyone who comes through their doors..as if theyve known you since you were a kid.

My new car got side swiped on 80 in Berkeley. I was bummed- especially cuz the guy drove away!The folks at Alameda Auto Body were recommended by my Geico appraiser and I had a great experience. After getting costly estimates for the replacement of the back lift door of my suv, I took it to Alameda Auto Body. Kevin was very friendly, courteous and helpful in finding the most cost-effective way in finding parts to replace the door, as I was paying out-of-pocket.He actually found a complete door from the same type of suv right in his repair shop! It was a dark green and mine was tan, but he assured me he would match the paint & replace the door for a LOT le$$ ~ I wouldnt be able to tell the difference.I was amazed at how perfect it all turned out! The color is spot-on and the entire door looks like the original. I had my car back in 3 days a lot cleaner that when it went in.
