Called twice both times they took my number and never called me. Must be nice to have so much business where you dont need call people back. Shouldve just told me on the phone dont need your business and saved me three days of waiting for nothing

This is the sole lock smith in the SLV. They know it & take advantage of that. But they are knowledgeable, reliable & dependable. They do quality work. Service is great! 1st few times I asked & called for an ignition key. They said they couldnt do it without the vehicle present. Doing so was impossible because I lost the only key I had. So I was prepared to tow it to Alamosa to have the work done. Third time I called, they said they could have a tech come out & do the work in Del Norte. Was extremely pleased to hear this. What he thought would take 30min to complete the job took maybe 15 & got 2 ignition keys!!!! Would recommend & call these folks again for any vehicle lock & ignition needs!

After nearly five years of owning my vehicle, I finally lost my one and only transponder ignition key. After a call to Valley Lock and sending them my ID documentation via email, a mobile unit showed up with a new pre-cut key and programmed it on the spot. Not only that, but they provided me with a backup master key with a stamped code so if ever ever lose it again, I can take the master to the shop and they can make me a new one. These folks were very professional, fast and friendly. The bill was quite high, but this is a very expensive thing to lose since these keys have a complex sidewinder cut to them, as well as electronics in the fob which disengages the immobilizer circuit in the car so you can start it. The only other option would have been to go to the dealer who would have charged even more. Great job, guys. You saved me a lot of inconvenience!

I was getting ready to go to an appointment when my dog escaped and I locked myself out of my house. I called Valley Lock and Security immediately and was told it would be 15-20 minutes until someone got there. After 25 minutes I called to see what was taking so long. I was told that the one locksmith had gone on another call before getting to me. An emergency where a business got locked out. As if me being locked out wasnt an emergency. And nobody even bothered to give me a call. I was then told that it would be another 15 minutes. The guy finally arrived an hour after I first called. I ended up having to miss my appointment. I would have made it if someone had come when I was told they would. I will say, Im happy with the service I received once he got here. I just wish someone had bothered to call me.

Shady people - not honest and upfront about their policies. Done business with them before and know our history but now refuse to take our money. Taking advantage of small community as their GREED increases.Also, called multiple times to confirm appointment.

Quick, convenient and professional.

Locked myself out of my car and they got it open and a new key made in 10 minutes.

Very nice staff and work, but quite expensive compared to other locksmiths.
