WORSE THAN A BUY HERE, PAY HERE ESTABLISHMENT! Picked out a 2022 Mercedes GLE350 for my wifes birthday! Agreed to pay what they were asking as well as put up $5000 deposit with no questions asked. After 2 days of going back and forth regarding financing, finally come to find out that they sold it from under us after being told that our money was good for holding it. Needless to say there was 0 communication regarding the status of the deal. Managers didnt even bother calling and made the consultant bare through all the embarrassment. I have dealt with many dealerships and purchased many cars, this is by far the worst experience dealing with a dealership, let alone a luxury one. Do yourself a favor and stay away! I would even say, pay more to save yourself the embarrassment than to do business with this dealership!

My husband and I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Albany Mercedes Managers and Support Team - including but not limited to John Padgett, (General Sales Manager) and Victoria Hardin (Service Advisor). Our 2021 GLS 450 Mercedes SUV had a rear cracked rim, which caused a flat tire. Fortunately we were in a safe area when this was discovered. However, we were in a rural area 60 miles to the closest MB Dealership. The excellence of the Mercedes Family “concept” came into play when the Albany Dealership made arrangements to come pick our family up on a weekend when their Service Department was closed; because there were no rental car companies, Ubers, or Lifts available.We had been on our way to deliver our three children to camp up in Northern Georgia and due to the fact that our rim was a custom size they had to special order it and would not be in for a few days. To keep our journey on track, the Albany MB Family came to our rescue and loaned us a vehicle to complete our trek. They made all of us, including our children, feel welcome and comfortable in this unfortunate situation. We can’t thank them enough. This speaks volumes to us about why Mercedes is a successful company as well as overall Luxury Brand. I experienced a puncture on a run flat tire while 1/3 into an 11 hr trip. Service manager Tori Hardin was a life saver!! With amazing resourcefulness she identified an opportunity to access a tire and I was in and out and back on the road in less than an hour!!! During that time I had the pleasure of meeting owner Wayne Gregory, who answered questions that enabled me to utilize Audible better for the rest of my trip! Was a VERY pleasant experience. I live about 50miles from the dealership, after repairing my car and being out of town they delivered my car safely to my home free of charge!! The staff was super and communication was top notch.
The title department is the worst I have ever seen. They continuely lie to you. And the management continues the lie. Dont trust them. I have been in the car business for over 30 years and havent seen anything like it. Be careful
I have dealt with numerous service departments with my vehicles but no one can top the customer service I received from Michelle Albert and the service department staff at this Mercedes dealership. She was very friendly and made sure I knew the progress of my S550 Mercedes and she made sure everything was done in a timely matter. Everything she said they were going to take care of under my warranty, it was done with no hassles. She really made me feel like family and made sure customer satisfaction is her #1 priority.
Sales agent Alecia Johnson was excellent the entire process. I purchased my BMW X3 from my home in Florida like I was in the office. Sales manager Derrick worked with me on a fair value for my trade and was easy and fair on negotiating a price for the BMW. No extended back and forth haggling. I would definitely recommend going here to purchase a car. Staff was very nice. I will be back when I look for another car.

I wasnt given an explanation on anything that might be wearing..The service managers werent friendly. Ive bought several Mercedes-Benz from this dealership but these folks need some customer service skills.

Took my 2017 Mercedes-Benz under warranty due to error code showing, first off I had it towed there from 85 miles away, called them to let them know it would be there, they never informed me when it arrived. After several days and no follow-up I called to see if vehicle was ready. I drive up 85 miles to pick up and after leaving dealership driving less than 2 miles the same code came back on. Turned around and returned to them and after 40 min or so they said it was ready. Well headed back out and within 5 miles same code came back on when i called back they told me that they would need me to bring back on Monday so they could get additional parts!!! VERY disappointed in service or lack of and customer service. Called Fields Mercedes-Benz in Jacksonville, FL explained problem and they setup appt immediately. Took car there and they started repair 1 day earlier and not only did they make repair they informed me that I was due brake replacement which I had completed while there. Will never go back to Albany Motor Cars!!! Second time goibg there and being disappointed in their customer services.

I’ve driven BMWs since I bought my first 2002 in 1970 and, in 25 years in the Army, have used dealerships from the Atlantic to Pacific and in multiple countries. None have given me the personalized service I have received from Albany Motorcars. My M4 CS is the fourth vehicle I have purchased from them, and I plan to get a fifth (a GTS, hopefully) soon.

I was interested in a $50k car, after inquiry they dropped the price to 48.5k and said they will replace the full set of tires. Worked with sales associate and GSM whom a week ago said will get back to u after we value your trade. Not even the respect and courtesy to return my call - absolutely disappointed that a MB dealer acts this way.

Purchased a vehicle 2 years ago. Good experience. However, Ive spent the last month attempting to reach someone inside the dealership to assist with a simple request and NO luck to date. Absolute horrific customer service. Clearly not client centered focused and once a deal is done, there is no interest in serving the customer. Never would I purchase a vehicle from Albany Motorcars nor could I recommend to anyone.

I was initially put off by how busy the Service department staff were but they gave outstanding service, friendly, and they did a wonderful job. Hope I never need them again, but if I do, I know the Service Department wont be an issue. Good job folks!
The high marks MUST be from Sales and/or 91 days or older -- it CANT be from the SERVICE department.Pay attention to the reviews that are 90 days or less.Take the trip to Atlanta or Tallahassee -- my guess is that itll be cheaper in the long run.Dont say that these 90 day and younger reviews didnt warn you.
Terrible customer service in the service/parts department and nobody cares. The managers usually offer some type of resolution but not here. The dealerships in Atlanta and Florida are also aware of the poor workmanship here and receive several complaints also.
I would not recommend taking your car here if you are from out of town! They will keep your car for weeks, then charge you for a problem they did not fix. Then offer to work with the dealership in the town you break down in with the same problem they should have fixed. At the end of the day they will tell the dealership you went to they never charged you for anything. When you call to confront them, theyll tell you they never promise such a thing. But tell you, if you bring the Vehicle back here we will work on it. Meanwhile the vehicle is inoperable and you have to pay to get it towed back there. So I would not trust Michelle Albert or Mercedes of Albany. Oh by the way here is the picture of the charges they deny charging!

After visiting another dealership a few days earlier my appreciation of a quality experience was a true blessing. All the people I came into contact were a pleasure to speak with, from the GM,Sales,Parts and service all came up to me to at least say hello. I had to come back to Albany Motorcars a week later after purchasing my car and the experience was the same, enjoyable!
The service department at Albany Motor cars is excellent, especially Michelle. I travel 140 miles one way just to have Her and her team maintain my car. I actually drive past another dealship to this one because of her care and attention to my vehicles. The shop is always fast in service, very clean and well organized. Ive always gotten my cars back cleaner than they come in and HAND dried. I cannot say so much for other service personnel in the past or at other dealerships, but this service department rocks!

Staff is completely unprofessional and unorganized. Received three calls from service staff within 15 minutes of each other and no one communicated with each other to realize they kept calling about the same thing. Was told I could drop off my car at service area first thing in the morning, only to be left standing in the cold outside waiting to be acknowledged by the service department- finally straw is being told by the concierge driver that he has nothing to do with the lack of customer-centered service provided by his colleagues as he is playing inappropriate music first thing this morning. I hope that the repairman is fully trained and adequate to perform the service that I requested. I would suggest that anyone In the maker to purchase a new Mercedes or get service go to Columbus or Atlanta where the level of professionals is on par to the brand name.

Beautiful cars, perhaps the most beautiful in Albany. However, Ive never been so blatantly ignored and disrespected in all my car shopping days. They definitely judge you based on the car you pull up in and the clothes youre wearing. Never had this issue buying my Audi or Volkswagen purchases, so Ill probably steer clear of Mercedes just because of this encounter. Never had a salesman come out to greet, literally had to hunt one down inside while people ignored me. Never had a phone call or email following up on the car I test drove. Test drive was fine, but I didnt have the feeling that they took me as a serious customer. Jokes on them as I wont go back.
Excellent, prompt and courteous service. I really enjoyed the service from the sales staff after my first car purchase in January 2016 so I bought another vehicle. There were no difficulties in obtaining service (changing a stained running board, covered tire change) and having my car picked up and dropped off for servicing. S. Johnston is a great guy

This is a late but welcomed response to this incident, Please do call me and we can discuss what occurred. 3 years ago, Why such a late response to review ?You should have my contact information in your system.March 3, 2021I drove up from Orlando to purchase a certified pre-owned vehicle that they were advertised on the Mercedes Benz site. Upon inspection of the vehicle that was listed as certified pre-owned may have been listed that way but surely did not qualify as Mercedes-Benz certified pre-owned. They were major cosmetic damage on the vehicle dents scratches. They even showed me the Mercedes paperwork they processed for the CPO work that they performed and to my amazement everything was checked off as being okay. Which just lends no credibility to anything that they checked off if the body work was okay in their estimation. They said it was minor that it would only cost a few hundred dollars. I took a photograph s of all the damage and sent it to my friend and his estimation was over $3,000. Easily.December 29,2020After revisiting their website to see if they were still in business, I was very surprised that there are. I find it strange that usually after a negative postings there always seems to be a couple of reviews that perk up their image. My opinion they are FAKE POSTINGS designed to build up their tarnished past wrongdoings. Think about it.
Worst car buying experience ever! These guys sold me a car, but said they needed a day to let a deposit expire after someone else’s financing fell through. I was told the car would be mine the next morning if the current deal fell through. Called the next morning and was told that the general manager who I made the deal with had been fired that morning and that they would not honor my deal with him. This is where I should have known to walk away, but I stupidly asked what the “new” deal would be. After agreeing to pay almost $3k more today than we had agreed to yesterday, in an effort to get the deal done, I was told by the sales manager I would receive the final numbers and paperwork within 30 minutes. I waited 2 hours before calling back and was then told that they were currently showing the car to someone else and that they couldn’t sell it to me until these people decided to pass on it!!! Seriously?!? We already agreed on a deal, twice at this point, they were still shopping the deal and they ended up selling the car to someone else. I’m the last person to go online and write a bad review, but I simply can not believe how I was treated by these clowns. I absolutely do not recommend doing business with this dealership. Shop here and you can expect all of the typical slimy car dealer lines, followed by having your deal shopped if/when you do finally land on an agreement. Simply unbelievable. Luckily there are plenty of other options out there for buying a car. Rant over.

Even though I did not purchase my GLK350 from Albany Motorcars, the service I have received from this dealership is beyond my expectations. This is my favorite Mercedes Ive ever been to. Their service and support is top notch and they really go out of their way to help you. I will go nowhere but here to have my car worked on and I live in Florida if that says anything. Denise and Michelle go above and beyond in the service center. They even watched my dog while I grabbed a rental from Enterprise accross the street.

I had the most amazing car buying experience at Albany Motors Cars!! . I saw the model I wanted online on a Thursday night, called on Friday morning, spoke to Steve Johnson, in Mercedes Sales and had numbers paper work and approval by that afternoon. Everyone from the GM, Sales Manager and Sales support participated in my purchase and treated me with upmost respect. The respect and lack of game playing, which I had experienced with a few other Mercedes dealers in my immediate area, set Albany Motors apart. Steve spent an unbelievable amount of time making sure I understood all of the components of my beautiful GLC 300. His follow up after the sale, has been very comforting and helpful. I would like to give this dealership a 10-star rating.I searched for a 2018 GLC 300 4matic via online and found two dealerships: one is my town, the other in Albany, GA, which is about 90 miles away. I first stopped by in town dealership and they found what I was looking for at the dealership in North Carolina. After an hour long discussion, they provided a $3K off from the MSRP and said it is the final price. I told them the new model will come out in 3 months and asked to give me more discount but they do not want to move forward.Then, I contacted, via email, with Steve Johnston in Albany Motorcars, and after several email exchanges, Steve agreed to give me the price that I wanted that is substantially lower than my local dealership provided. Yet, the funny thing is Steve also found the same car (same VIN) in NC. On the car pick up day, everyone in the dealership was so nice and kind and tried to help us.My daughter is going to be a primary driver so Steve spent a great amount of time to explain all features to my daughter and she really liked the way Steve explained to her. Steve also followed up after the sale to make sure everything is all right. From the initial contact with Steve Johnston to now, I am more than happy to purchase my car from here. I recommend this dealership to anyone.Thank you.

I was really surprised by how smooth and quiet the car performs on the highway. The audio system is also unexpectedly phenomenal! Hope l dont end up blowing out the rest of my eardrums! Im even happy that it came with the [unwanted] round steering wheel. I think that when the steering wheel spins back after a turn, [being round] it feels more natural. I even got to use the heating steering a couple of cold mornings and lve elevated that feature to a must have. All and all, lm thoroughly satisfied and impressed with my new car and lm not easily satisfied or impressed! No buyers remorse here! Id also like to thank David for doing such a great job of helping me to become familiar with many of the features that l couldve easily overlooked.
