Nice homes but prices are up there

I do NOT recommend this company!! They do not stand by their word. I tried to get them to bring my light fixtures out numerous times still don’t have them after almost 4 years, tried to get them to tack up my trim for the 2nd time, came in one day and one piece was laying in the floor. And a brownish spot came up on my ceiling and I thought it was just the paint discolored. And all of this I reported to the person that sold me the mobile home with phone calls, emails, and voicemails all before the warranty was up in the first year. She wouldn’t answer my calls and never called me back. I called them the other day and I guess they are going to be the same way. SMH!!! What a joke of a business, I have told and will continue to tell anyone and everyone I can to NOT buy one !! It’s ridiculous!!

Such a bad experience. Put down a deposit in May to lock in price, because lumber was going up. Then they go up o. Mw bc lumber went up. The bD thing is they didnt even call me they just sent the increase to my bank. Still have not received my $1000 deposit back. Not a good place to do business with. So sad

Definitely don’t recommend. Paid the deposit and got approved for the Loan. After that our salesman would not contact us back or give us any further information. Ended up having to get a refund and take our business else where.

Have our money and have our home (process started in April). yet no help getting it delivered and land set up. We took salesman advice and paid them to do septic and all…. Septic guy stood us up several times when I took off work…. Now he did perk test 2 weeks ago and hadn’t applied for permit. Also things are changing in facts about house etc from what told when initial buying home.Be homeless in 2 weeks based on day they said to tell my apartment landlord.How well will my after moving in help/repairs be if I can’t get them to even get home delivered!

Ashley left this job. No contact to the clients she was working with. We had to call and find out who was handling our new home. That turned into a disaster. Kolby is now handling things. Weeks of no contact, we had to repeatedly call to get info. There was an issue with our loan, nobody called we had to finally reach out repeatedly. This has been a hassle. We will not be be back and do not recommend this place. Side note they didnt hesitate to take our 1000$ down but we were just informed it will be 7-10 days to get that back. Update 6/3 He, Ya know the one that was supposed to be getting our refund back. HE NEVER TURNED IT IN!!!! WTH?!?!

We drove an hour to look at a home they didnt have

My mother in law went in the first of May to purchase a home. They went up on her price 3 times and never contacted her personally only her financial provider. Very unprofessional.

The home we purchased is beautiful. Its been about 6 weeks and it still isnt completed. They are hard to get in touch with, they dont give you updates or let you know when things will happen. For example, their contractors dont work during rainy days. Last week was bright and sunny and dry, nobody ever came by and did anything to the house. Its still in 2 pieces, its been sitting for over 2 weeks now with nothing done. The septic hasnt been started either. They are slow to do anything. Its really irritating to try to find out anything going on with the house. Everytime I call Eric and the person who sold us the house are unavailable and they are the only ones who about things pertaining to the house. Its like a dog chasing their tails, we never know if we might catch it or not. 🤦🤷We called them 4 days ago and were told someone would call us back, we never got a phone call or an update or anything. Very disappointing. Homes are beautiful though, its just their customer service sucks! 🙄Update: Clayton homes may be really really bad at communication 80% of the time but when they send people out to work the people they hire are good people! The guy that did our Welcome Home, Kenny, was excellent and had all issues fixed the same day! He was prepared, knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. He treated us like friends and not just like customers! I love that they hire these small businesses, all the contractors and people sent out seemed to really know what they were doing!

My experience with Clayton was great!!!Leah is extremely nice and goes out of her way for her customers. I would recommend everyone try Clayton before wasting time with someplace else.

Not so sure about price? Seems very high for the poor quality of cabinets and fixtures. Single wide for $79,000.00?

Would not recommend there contractors to do anything I have had my place for about 3 years and my power pole is about to fall and RIP the wire out of the place they are supposed to dig the hole over 4 feet its only like 2 if you want problems down the road I would not recommend them

We were lied to over and over. The sales person acted like she was really working for us, but she never returned our calls nor made an effort to initiate a call. We kept getting the run a round about what was really happening as we were trying to purchase a used home. When we finally did get a call in, all we would hear is how they didnt really know how long it might take the previous owner to move her stuff out. This went on for more than a month. We went to a different Clayton home center and had a home picked out and started working through the loan process in less than a week. Thats the difference. It was agony trying to work with anyone at this location. I cannot recommend them.

The guy told me he take 10k off the mobile home but nothing would come with it . Not the delivery, setup, skirting, heat pump, electricity, nothing I just get the trailer . Does this guy think I am that stupid ? He takes off 10k but I have to pay at least 15k extra or more for everything I need . Thats way over the listing price they asking for . Wow what a nice deal to get scammed on thanks Clayton

Horrible people I asked to look at homes and they acted like it was a burden. The lady with Pink hair told me she had to walk me around to look at the homes that we couldn’t look on our own. She told me that I had to sit in the office and look at floor plans before we could look in the homes. I’ll take my $130,000 CASH somewhere else!

Friendly people but its hard to get things repaired. Its now 3 weeks later and still havent received a phone call for the long list of repairs that need to be done. Doesnt matter who I speak to, Im still waiting... Disappointed!
