I found my new forever mechanics/auto shop! Ray and the entire staff are awesome! I highly recommend these guys. From their hospitality, to the quality of their work. They even drove me home and picked me up a few times when they were doing maintenance on my vehicle. They go above and beyond!

I had been taking my truck for years somewhere else. They told me the oxygen sensor didnt really matter. Well it turns out it does and it turns out there were several other things on the truck that needed to be fixed. I really use my truck: tow, haul, long distance, changes in altitude, commute. I need it to be reliable and I need my mechanic to find problems in Albuquerque; I dont want to find them in the back country. They did a really great job. They were very courteous and they worked with my schedule to get the truck fixed. I am very happy with it. I waited 3 weeks to write the review, the engine light did not come back on. I am now comfortable that the truck is fixed and I have found my mechanic for the future. Thanks RNS. They are a family business and with a really comfortable down home feel to the service. Very convenient access from the base.

Only place we take our vehicles! Everyone we have delt with (Sam, JP, Ray) have all been the best. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and do the best they can not to keep your car for long. I appreciate the way they explain everything to me, in a way that easy for a non mechanic to understand. As a woman, I have never felt that they werent being honest and forward with me. Would recommend this place 100%.

Wow! I am rebuilding a 1990 Chevy suburban and I’ve been to mechanic after mechanic being ripped off! Rio Grande automotive charge me thousands of dollars to fix my truck and couldn’t get it done and ultimately said it was an old truck had to be satisfied for the way it was running. Budget transmissions couldn’t get my transmission problem fixed either after arguing with him several times. I took my truck into RNS And they fixed everything for $240! It’s hard to find honesty like this anymore! I will never take my truck anywhere else! The shop is amazing! Amazing and friendly people!

I never leave reviews but thought this place/shop deserved an exception. I have been to many shops and found that most are a complete waste of time and money. This shop is not the same though. I actually found it by accident and I am glad that I did. The owner is in fact a tech and very knowledgeable. They are honest and charge fair prices. Every time I have come here, they have treated me with respect and integrity. That is not common for auto shops, so they deserve a shout out. I am not the best with words, so simply put, this shop is the real deal!

My experience was wonderful. I had 1 short experience a year ago which caused me to call on them when I had some real issues.My car is running great, took less than 2 days and I paid a lot less than Ive paid for past services at the dealership.I would recommend these guys to anyone and everyone. When I was driving across the country my car started to make a clunking sound. RNS were the only ones who could see me right away, the found the problem, fixed it easily, and didnt even charge for their time. Absolutely saved me today!

Really liked these guys. They had very professional and friendly customer service.The condition of the vehicle and repair costs were communicated clearly and honestly.My car was fixed on time and I havent had a problem sense.I feel that its a good thing if one can find a trustworthy mechanic and I think Ive found exactly that at RNS Auto.

Honest and does a good job on your car.

The service on our truck wasn’t repaired on a one time basis. We had to take the truck back to them from our dealership place twice. We never got a good deal out of these guys. Sorry but one of the guys there didn’t know what he was doing even though he said that he went to school for it. Maybe a trainer?

I took my car for a tuneup and a preventive thermostat change,I also told them I had a leak.I picked up the car drove it a couple of days and still had the leak.I took it back then all of the sudden I needed a water pump.I went ahead and paid for a water pump,took the car home which I still had the leak.I took it back again,then I was told I needed a radiator.I paid for a radiator.I again took the car home drove it a week and still had the same leak.I again took it back they kept it a week and found leak on a housing,which they fixed it with some Teflon tape.(which was probably the problem from the beginning)
