I placed an order online and it was so easy! I received a message that it was ready for pickup and they had it ready to go in a bag. Not to mention the ladys at the cash register were so nice!!! I will continue to keep coming back to this amazing place!

Joann Fabric is the best when youre looking for your next diy project. If this store doesnt get your creative juices flowing Im not sure what would. Fabric and all sorts of artistic accessories to liven up your creation. If you envision it, they probably have what you need to make it real. Check it out.

I love joanns. Employees are always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Not always the cheapest place so make sure to wait for the good sales to shop. Had to return something for my first time the other day the process was really quick and easy. Any sewing needs this is where you need to go. But again just be aware of the prices and wait for the sales because they have the best sale prices if you have patience.

Easy to find. Looks like older bldg on the outside, but inside is bright, well laid out on the inside. Visiting from another state and everything was more or less exactly where I expected it to be. And, of course, cant beat the coupons!!

Went to get sew on patches to fix a shirt. Found fairly quickly after browsing the store to see new items. I enjoy all the fun new things they have. Used my coupon and saved 40% off plus was discounted on price! Quick checkout and the cashier and I had some fun laughs together.

Great place friendly people. Better prices than hobby lobby and unlike hobby lobby Joannes actually offers military discount and great coupons. Its a smaller but far superior version of hobby lobby

We are a crafting family and love going to Joanns for all are fabric needs. Today we went in to find material to cover up an ottoman, it was hard to chose between the different colors and fabrics, but we ended up with just the right weight and color.

Got a way better selection than Michaels or Hobby Lobby. All of the workers Ive interacted with so far have been very sweet :)

People here are super friendly. They have great fabric too. All the stuff you need for special occasions.

I took my Mom here to buy some material and thread. Very nice fabric store that has a little of everything for whatever you want to make. Employees are all very nice.

Im not a crafty person, but I wanted to patch a hole in my trucks seat. They were great, they stepped right up and helped me out, really good people. If I ever need anything again Ill visit them.

Not the biggest fan pf this location because staff is usually rude to me but today i was helped by a wonderful young lady named Ella (or Elle, can’t remember)! she was kind and courteous and helped point me in the right direction. hopefully other staff are as nuce as her :-)

I like that Joanns has a huge selection of fabrics which is awesome however there is like no real organization to the store. You can find the same fabric in different patterns in all kinds of different locations all over the store instead of one sections. For example, gauze fabric... The fabric is literally all over the store which is great and horrible all at the same time. I have to scour the store just to find a particular color. The employees really have no idea where anything is. Whats even more odd is that they have a small section with sewing machines on display.... Which they basically have no inventory of the machines that are on display but instead other random machines. To top it off... They have decent sales on their machines.... Except all the machines on sale are the machines they dont have in stock and havent had in stock in months. How can you have sales on items you dont even have?!?! And then the few you DO have arent on display and not on sale and the employees cant even tell you what the difference is between the machines they dont have compared to the ones they do.... What the heck Joanns?! You have better luck at hobby lobby where everything is organized, visibly priced and the employees in that section always know whats up. And for machines, youd be better off getting info online. I own a small business and I definitely wont be coming back here.

One of the last remaining fabric stores in town that has a lot of choices and additional craft materials. Great store.

For many years, I would prefer to travel to the JoAnn in Rio Rancho because the Menaul/Wyoming store was unclean and had poor customer service. However, seemingly under new management, it is now a joy to visit the store on Menaul! It is always clean, fresh, well stocked, well organized, and the people are so helpful, friendly, and attentive! Like many of my recent visits, I was helped quickly and kindly today - both at the cutting table and the checkout counter. Whomever stepped in and implemented these changes truly deserves a pat on the back.

Wayyy better than hobby lobby.Coupons and military discount is enough for me to shop here over hobby lobby. I literally drove across town to go here over hobby lobby down the road

I think the employees do their best but there arent enough people working the registers. Plan on spending at least 15 minutes in line - good thing the magazines are right up front or Id have died of boredom before even getting close to the front of the line!

Complete waste of time. Waited in line outside for 15 minutes even though the store was mostly empty and there was plenty of space to distance. Once inside, there was only one worker cutting fabric. We waited for over 30 minutes and they had only gotten 2 peoples fabric cut; there were still another 8 numbers ahead of us. Amazon is cheaper and delivers right to your front door then you can cut your fabric yourself. Dont waste your time at Joann.

The selection is insane! Definitely need to walk the aisles to see all the materials. Lot of adhesives too. Just know you have to take a number in order to get your material cut. Straight back from the entrance youll see the tables.

Standard Joann fabric store but always worth a visit if you need something for a project.

Ive always had a good experience here, the employees are nice and helpful, there are quite a few new employees. Yes I have been coming here quite a bit to recognize that. Now that the great COVID rush for fabric is over, they have quite a bit nice fabric.

You name it they have it. And at great prices too.

Love the fabrics and most of the people working are helpful if you can find one. Good sales/coupons if you watch for them.

Eeee couldnt decide on star rating. on one hand, there was an employee named Elle who was super nice and helpful! She gave me craft ideas and cricut recommendations!! But before her i had tried to get help from TJ, who didnt know what she was talking about at all and was rude and unhelpful. Woulda given five stars if i didnt deal with TJ.

Dont look poor, and especially dont look homeless. Ive been going to this store a couple of times a month for six years, i usually spend $30 or more yet get followed and harrassed by the same woman each and every time. Made me laugh when she was so busy harrassing me despite having purchased nearly a hundred dollars in beads three days earlier, that two young men walked out with multiple bags of stuff. Ill pay the mark up and order online or go to thunderbird or Mamas minerals i rarely go either place but have never been treated poorly at all in either business i am homeless and the price difference is significant but... More than six years and the only thing consistent is the foul way Im treated. If it matters to anyone reading this, I havent stolen anything since i was in my teens and have never shoplifted.

Lots of staff that are happy to help. Great personalities at check out!Needs more resin supplies and more selection of nonstandard colors for seed beads (i was looking g for a burnt orange or a yellow orange for a project), but great selection of yarn!

Its a very nice place but very rude imployes lots of stuff to chose from and slot of items are very over priced to other places when u check prices but I have to say tons of varity when it comes to fabric. But when u get snap at the place loses its luster and leaves you with a rotten taste. Maybe Ill go back to give them another chance.

Nice selection, but the store smelled horribly of sewer. Had to cut my trip short due to the bad smell.

Great amout of fabric but only 1 person to cut and measure with lots of people waiting with full baskets. I left. I wasnt able to wait an hour or longer to have one piece of material cut for one stool I need repaired.

A plain white cotton material, for 2 yards was nine dollars. For the same thing at a second had store that helps homeless women was $0.25 .

There wasnt any sheep prints in the fabric section... poop. Other than that it was good.

The prices are high at Joann Fabrics, but coupons and discounts online can save you 25-50%. Selections are above average, though limited. This store is arranged like a big box store, and it does have a large selection. Personally, Id rather they market themselves as a large boutique with great customer service. Instead, it has a cookie cutter layout with well-intentioned but under informed emoyees.Still, shy of a proprietorship nearby, Joann will meet all of your standard seamstering needs, with a load of craft projects to boot.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT FOR SEWING REPAIRS

When I was shopping at Joanns I was only using curbside pickup. It had gotten better but still end up waiting for a while and even though I tell them the exact make, color of my car and exact parking spot they couldnt ever find me on top of that having tons of issues with there app the last 4 or 5 times Ive put in an order within a few days the entire order ends up getting cancelled so sadly I have stopped shopping at joanns.

Love Joanns. Coupons are the best at this store. Huge inventory too. Lowest sale prices. Curbside is so convenient.

This store is so run down. It needs updating badly. What keeps me coming back here is the super people that work here. Yesterday I was helped at the fabric counter by the lovely Karen. I so appreciate having a cheerful person who seems happy to be at work instead of someone who grunts while they are helping you. Im looking at you, Wally World. Karen also pointed out other fabrics I might be interested in based on those she was cutting for me. Joanns might neglect the appearance of their stores, but they do hire some great people to serve their customers, which is a lot harder to do than replace fixtures and paint. I will gladly overlook those imperfections!

One of my favorite craft stores in Albuquerque! Great yarn selection, wonderful cloth selection (including fat squares), and so many other things that you can’t find locally elsewhere. The staff are helpful and seem to really like their job. The place is kept clean and organized. They’re never understaffed, either. This place is great for shopping at!
