The place looked very clean. You cant sit inside yet but they do have a patio. Their beers are just okay. I tried like six taster beers and had two full beers. The ones that I tried were just okay. Theyre rushing imperial Stout was pretty good. I also tried one of their beers that were called breakfast Id like that one the best. I might go back again.

Great tap room as part of the local brewery with tasty beers. While I became a fan based on their Nitro Stout, I have enjoyed a good number of their different beers over the years.Their staff is always friendly and accommodating. Its a nice place to just hang out and enjoy your beer. There is an outdoor patio and sometimes a food truck setup to provide good grub.Nice that they have some limited food options even when there is not a food truck operating at the time. They do growler swaps and also often have a beer or two available in cans.Good location right off the freeway.

They have good beers and normally a food truck parked out back. They were rotating for a while but now started up their own truck with some tasty selections. The brewery has a good atmosphere, its a regular place my friends and I visit. They also have some game tables and an Nintendo 64 set up.

Its okay. But guys. Your charging the price of a margarita for a craft beer. $7.50 pints is INSANE GUYS. especially here in Albuquerque. Two beers cost me $17 including a tip. Who is gonna come here regularly!?

2 Stars for the atmosphere: somewhat cold, seemed like it was a hassle to be a customer. Just a few people were there so service was quick enough, Ill give them that. Some customer service engagement skills would be beneficial if they want returning customers.5 Stars for the Raining Blood Red Ale but...expensive. 5.50 for a 10 ounce glass. Felt like I was drinking from a sippy cup.3 Stars for the Irish Red Ale, not quite as bold and flavorful that I was expecting. 5.50 for a pint (average).5 Stars for the beautiful laminated bar and cleanliness of the entire inside. Outside is a little rough. You have to walk through a chain link fence/gate that indicates employee parking only, then past the parking area about 3/4 of the way to the back of the building to the Red Door. Just sort of a weird entrance.Music playing at the time was pretty heavy stuff, OK with me but others may not dig it.

This is one of my favorite breweries around town. The staff here is so AWESOME! They hands down have the best customer service out of all the breweries. I love the Unhinged Cider and the Paint it Black Milk Stout here. I love the rotating art, food trucks and atmosphere of this place. This is a great brewery!

A great local brewery. I was told that they usually have a food truck on site. We stopped in and tried quite a few in a flight. The cider is the best in town! Unfiltered, with just a hint of sweetness and carbonation. The best I have tasted in awhile. AWESOME.

I am a fan. Service was excellent and the beer was very enjoyable. I had the Nitro Milk Stout and loved it. Mrs. S went with a flight of IPAs, the Vanilla Cream Ale and the Irish Red Ale--all very tasty. So, yeah, well be back. Nice vibe, good prices and a friendly crowd.

A fun place in a part of town that needs more breweries. Red Door has been popular since theyve opened and they appear to be in a warehouse or large garage which makes for a fun atmosphere. The beer is stellar, but I think the cider is their best drink. I havent had anything quite like it and there arent many places in town that make their own cider. Theres a garage door to the back of the brewery where food trucks will show up so you can generally get something new every time you go. Neat place and worth the trip.

Went for the first time last night. The beer was really good, especially the New England IPA. I was a little surprised to see the bill which was $60 for 7 beers. The menu and signs had no indication of price for individual beers (including the ones we were drinking), we finally found a sign near the door saying that pints were $5. We didnt say anything and paid it, but it seems a little dishonest to surprise your patrons with your prices.

Not the best beer in town, not the worst either... if a Keystone is a 1 and gold in Germany is a 10 I would give it a solid 6... this place is in my top 5. They do have live bands so it can get kinda loud however there is a good amount of room. If your in the area give them a try, worth the visit.

Review №45

Nice people, nice room. I pulled up local breweries when I came to ABQ to visit and they all ranked the same 4.5-4.6. Homogeny in brewing is destroying craft brews. What used to be micro, has become mundane; I was stoked to order a vanilla creme, imperial red, calif common and blackberry hef. Sadly they didnt hot MY mark. The vanilla creme was the best. The berry hef was flat, lacked hef... overwhelmed by berry. The common had a nice flavor. Blind folded, I’d have guessed APA. No SF yeast flavor, no offsides of lager at ale temps. Finally the imperial red, a style I have not experience per syle guide, struck me as an IPA. The beers were drinkable, even tasty, but not to style (barring creme ale). Even the creme ale needed more softness. Lastly, I was bummed to find, on a Friday night, my dinner plans were dashed. No food truck on scene. Flight of 4- $ 10 with tip. As a brewer, beers were all good, but not for analysis. Nothing here will turn your head.

For such a young brewery, they have a few note worthy beers. The Vanilla Cream Ale, Paint it Black Milkshake Stout, and the Threshold IPA are very good! But the food quality from the food truck out back is not going to bring clientele back for food. Overpriced for mediocre food was nothing special. I can make a better quesadilla in 5 minutes.
