Be prepared with of list a items that you need. Most of the items are sold under lock and key. There is never a manager around to ask if you need help. So, when you finally get help, having a list is key to get in and out of the store in a timely manner. The selves are not frequently stocked. New to the store, the cooler windows are screened with e-advertisements, so you cannot see what is in the refrigerated section. When you open the cooler doors, the shelves are empty and have not been stocked. I recommend going to another location.

This is a great place to pick up your medication.

This place was so inhospitable. I wanted to borrow their bathroom while shopping in the store and they refused to me use it and instead suggested I use the one at the Panera next door.

My partner and I just got vaccinated here and the pharmacist was so kind and the process was so easy. We are sitting here giddy with excitement that we were able to be vaccinated. Thank you so much! I know pharmacists have a hard job with very little appreciation, so I just want to say thank you and that our lives were changed today and we appreciate you!

Walgreens is our go to for medicine and personal care products. This location is the worst I have patronized.Many shelves are locked and require staff assistance to access. If thats the decision management made to prevent theft, they need to make sure they have enough staff to assist customers. You shouldnt have to wait ten minutes for someone to come unlock deodorant.Save yourself lots of time and pick up your personal care products elsewhere.

This is a nice little store as far as Walgreens go. The neighborhood can be a bit rough. Lots of homeless vagrant types around. But I have never had any problems personally. I get my rx filled here and the service is always timely and pleasant. One thing I still don’t understand is why Walgreens insists on selling cigarettes and booze in a health care store/pharmacy. I guess they need to keep their customers coming back. I would probably shop at a CVS if we had more of them around.

People should have information related to Covid vaccine from your Walgreens and not be treated horribly by your call center Representatives.

Horrible experience! They scan your ID without even telling you! The hold it for 11 years! Outage! If I knew that I never would have bought it there.Feel awful and will never go there again. Walgreens customer service told me that someone would call me back and no one ever did! Never use Walgreens!

Ive been going to this Walgreens a long time. The pharmacy staff is great, and they have gone above and beyond more than once. Usually I only go here to get my rxs, but last week I decided I wanted to look at makeup. Omg, the lady in the makeup department was awful. I just wanted to browse, but she kept bothering me, being a pest, and would NOT leave me alone. Shes beyond annoying. Please get rid of her.

Horrible. Always a wait!!!! This time they scanned my ID without asking me and I did not approve it. That is how identity theft occurs! If I knew they were going to do that I wouldnt have given them a dime and taken my business elsewhere! Walmart does not do that! Never again.....!

The unofficial pharmacy of undergrads at the University of New Mexico because it has better hours than the pharmacy at the student health center, this Walgreens can be chaotic and weird, but its great for people watching during the pandemic. If you are a Lobo, woof woof, you are almost guaranteed to meet someone you know in line at the liquor department.So what if therere homeless people wandering about the vicinity? They are generally harmless and could use your change, bro. Plus the place has historic value. If you look to the right as you exit you can see the new US Bank which formerly housed First Community Bank, one of the only local banks to ever be taken over by the Feds! Next to that is a home that used to play host to a shop called The Brotherhood of Life Metaphysical Bookstore. Ah, Albuquerque.

This Walgreens is probably one of my favorites, not just for convenience, but because every time I go, the staff is always extremely helpful, no matter the department. From the cashiers, to the pharmacists, even the guys and gals who stock the liquor department, they always smile and ask if they can assist.

Ratchet place. Hours of liquor operation totally random.

The day manager at this location is Transphobic. came in clearly presenting as female for some basic items. made a direct point to call me man, with emphasis 4 separate times, smirked at me while calling me sir before i finally just took my things and left. completely unnecessary, nothing i was doing was gender related i just needed him to unlock the case so i could get my things and be left alone.

The staff in the store pare great. Everyone is always very polite and helpful. The pharmacy staff are fantastic. They always answer all my questions and take care of my prescriptions. I have no major complaints. The store is always nice and clean.You must take their location into consideration when making any reviews. This a very busy place with all sorts of people, professional, professors, students, artist and so on. Hence the staff do their best. I am sure that providing services to this very diverse community makes their positions stressful. As a result. I do my best to be mindful to them. If you are are regular costumer you exactly what I mean.I like this store and it’s my favorite from all the other places is very convenient and there is always a place to park.

I was a regular customer here at the pharmacy, so I only know the names of the pharmacy staff. Gavin is the most efficient and technically gifted pharmacy technician -soon to be pharmacist - staffed here. He went out of his way to make sure I was helped, and the least I can do is vouch for him on this review. He is insanely career focused and goal oriented; all while working his hardest to keep his customers satisfied. Gavin is the definition of what the ideal pharmacy technician does, and even what pharmacists should be doing. As far as pharmacists go, I believe Matt has the kindest heart with great intentions to help people. From my interactions with him, he had restored my faith in the pharmacy practice- by actually having the empathy to help and care for his patients. Thank you both Gavin and Matt for staying true and pure in your intentions to make this world a better place the entire time I have known you two. I genuinely appreciate you guys, and your honesty and willingness to help others make my experiences at Walgreens pharmacy that much more memorable.Shoutout to Sarah, your heart is in the right place as well, and thank you for your kindness and support through some dark times in my life. You are all loved, and we are all in this life together. No customer service at all. Worst Walgreens ever. They follow you down the aisle...no service person to ever answer a question though. Terrible neighborhood..stay away from this Walgreens..they all suck but this is the worse.

Just got a parking ticket for shopping here, taking a $5 purchase to $20. They didnt even bother asking on the internal speaker if someone had a blue Jeep - a pretty distinctive vehicle. The place is dingy and barely kept up. Avoid this store like the plague, because they are not that different

In all the store is alright. However, I have had a very poor experience with a pharmaceutical technician (Olivia A.). She was extremely condescending when she spoke to me and seemed to have an issue with me asking basic questions. I will not be returning due to this employee.

After many years of getting the same prescription manufacturer they all of a sudden decided to change to a different manufacturer. I dont care how many times you say its the same compound it is not the same. I sure wish I would have known this because I would have changed pharmacy. This is the second month with this new change and Im not happy with it. You should let your customers know if they arent getting the same manufacturer.

Walgreens is badazz on Central and Girard there kinda expensive on somethings but other than that its awesomeness keepz you wanting too kepp going back and back so let me know in comments what you thought and experienced thankz buh bye.....

I ordered online for curbside!!! As it was somehow my order was at the WRONG store. I sat in the curbside parking space for 35 minutes and THEY NEVER BROUGHT MY STUFF OUT!!!!!!And they were NOT BUSY

Staff is always ready to help you find what youre looking for.

This is a nice little store with a good staff. In general, you can find what you need here, and the pharmacy staff is competent and professional. It really could be a great pharmacy and store, but its almost right on Central, and gets the problems that roll in from that street, mainly shoplifting, I think, but other issues as well. This is nobodys fault, just an unfortunate feature of location. The management and staff do a good job of keeping it clean and well run despite this. If you live in the neighborhood this is a good place to go to get your prescriptions filled, get greeting cards, get various grocery items in a pinch.

The staff in the rest of the store have been kind to me. But I have had terrible service from the pharmacy. They have lied to me about contacting my doctor for refills for a daily medication. It took two months before I finally called my doctors office for the refill myself, something I have never had to do with any other pharmacy. The worst was when I requested refills, went back, and was told that my doctor refused to refill them and that I would need to find someone else to prescribe them to me. (I just moved here so my doctor lives in Utah.)I called my doctor and he himself told me that I had not refused anything and he would send the refill permission.Had my doctor wanted me to find someone else in Albuquerque, I would have been fine. But the pharmacy LIED TO MY FACE ABOUT HIS ACTIONS. That is not okay. I do not want something so personal being handled by a pharmacy that has no qualms about lying to me about the condition of my prescriptions and not letting me get them. I will be going somewhere else from now on.

First I’m told that I’m going to have to wait 30 minutes to pick up my photo book then I am removed from the premises for literally no reason. I waited for my order for half an hour past the designated pick up time just to be kicked out with no explanation?!? Horrible service.

Something interesting is always happening here

Me and my family came to this Walgreens after playing volleyball and Johnson Gym and proceeded to have the worst visit. We needed to buy aleve and lotion. We came in wearing our small drawstring backpacks with our gear in it and as soon as we crossed the threshold into the store, security was told to follow us. We could not go down a single aisle without being followed and harassed by a worker asking if we were finding everything okay. At one point one member of my family went into the lotion aisle to see which one she wanted to buy and sure enough another worker came out of no where and began essentially stalking her as well. We bought what we needed this time but needless to say we will not be back to ANY Walgreens if they profile every customer that walks through their doors in such a negative manner. If you need something from a convince store I suggest going somewhere else.

This place is so dirty and the lot full of drunk bums, but I still stopped in for an Rx - pharmacy is closed. Alcohol dept is open though. Keeping UNMs brain pickled is clearly the priority.

I recently visited the pharmacy and I was treated as if I was being judged immediately. The young woman was rude and unprofessional and so was the the Pharmacist. I will NEVER come to this store ever again!!

I have my meds sent to Walgreens that have nothing at all to do with Walgreens. They are wonderful! I appreciate this service as we live in a bad area of town and I dont want my meds left on the doorstep.

Great store but too many transients that hang out and they end up stealing from the store. Security is non existant.

So I go in there making a purchase of $50... I check my receipt and some digital coupons didnt come off and I was suppose to get a $4 coupon from a purchase I made... I let them know so I get called rude and that I use too many coupons. I mean coupons were obviously made to be used so I got a refund and called their 1800 number leave a complaint... Apparently you guys dont care for your customers.... Since letting you know whats going on so you can fix the problem is being RUDE...

FYI. To the manager, I hope you never know what it is like to have to live on a budget and must use coupons. Your store coupon policy is ridiculous, 1 coupon per day per product is ridiculous. I only was trying to get 4 laundry detergents not the entire stock. Thank you for allowing me reduce my standards in management and the human race. I called Walgreens corporate and your policy is based solely on your store not Walgreens corporate.

I saw a security guard asking a panhandler to leave the property and management over ruled the guard and allowed the panhandler to continue to harass customers for money using his dog as a tool to induce empathy.

Ok, let me begin with having to place blame where it is due. Unfortunately the location and ABQs sh!ty state it is riddled with people trying to break into your car, street people yelling at you, and the like. However thats ABQ right now.Now what is TOTALLY on the store is one employee. I frequent this store and by in large everyone is great except one guy who seems to cashier the liquor section some evenings. This guy has constant loud angry break downs alone, gets wired about ethnic people, and on pretty much every occasion that I buy a pack of cigarettes asks if he can have one. He makes things honestly super awkward and makes you want to just run off, and this is coming from someone very use to the reality of city life. Not worth the bull$h!t.

I allways come to this store for our medication and allways had good expirience. The people in the farmacy, like you or not they are profecionals and allways attend you right. I am hispanic and today I went earlier I needed passport pictures. I was trying to have information but no one was there and no one would come and ask. So I stand on line. There were two cashiers open. In one of them was a Black guy I think he had a dark sueter. Since it was my turn a stand infront of him after the other person left and I was there waiting for him to help me. I belive he was the manager the way he was dressed. He ignored me all the time. And was acting like he was doing stuff. I know he saw me because he did I saw him saw me. He ignored me and as soon he was able he walked away. 😱 I couldnt belive he was in charged. How? I saw he had issues and went to onother store. I will not be going to a store where people cant work out their problems what ever they are and be racist or I dont care. What is it with this childish ways. This aint processional at all and I dont get how they become managers. I just make the review because I think we have to speak out. I dont care I get people like this olot. But o well if the store cares and want to do something about it is up to them. Racist or what ever you got I dont care about your issues. I was cited by Park in Place for parking here, there are a few posted signs without a clear distinction or boundary, Walgreens seems to be willing to alienate customers while continuing to have poor performance as a corporation, I guess this private parking management idea is part of Walgreens effort to cut $1.5 in cost by assaulting the customer with parking citations, interesting strategy

Chronically understaffed pharmacy. Always a long line, always takes longer to fill scripts than what is estimated. Three computer terminals, but only ever one person at the helm. Wrote this while standing in line behind 9 people.
