A great shop that sells cookies, Ice Cream, drinks, and various snacks. I stopped by after taking a tour of Albuquerque. Im glad that I did. I got a peanut butter cookie, milk and ice cream. The snacks all helped me to cool down and gave me a sample of their menu. The service was friendly, and fast. The food was awesome. Located across from UNM a definate goto place to meet up. The new location is double the size of the old one.

YUUUUMMMM!!! A super quick walk from The University of New Mexico, Rude Boy Cookies is a go-to for practically every student. Fresh warm and gooey topped with ice cream is what dreams are made of. They even have the cutest little dog treats!

They were so, so nice to me. I walked in pale, sweaty and exhausted. The cool counter staff realized what I was trying to say and got me exactly what I asked for, a mixed fountain drink. They pointed me to a seating area where I could sit to cool down. Cant wait to come back!!! They earned my business on human decency alone.

DELICIOUS!!! I have been meaning to stop in for some time (and then the evil ART construction happened...ugh) well I finally got in, and seriously I’ve been missing out. The cookies were fantastic!! Got a box to take home, where I warmed them (as all cookies should be eaten!) my favorite was the Duke. So good. The mint cookie wasn’t overpowering, making it great. The peanut butter cookie could be more peanut buttery, but that’s probably just me, I can never have enough PB. The salted caramel shortbread could use some more salt though. Still good for sure, but more salt would be amazing.We also had the cookie waffle with ice cream. I might just be making my future cookies in my waffle iron! Staff was very friendly and super patient with us while we tried to decide what to get. You also can’t beat the prices. This is not an overpriced bakery. It’s totally reasonable!! And it encourages someone like me to buy more! I can’t wait to come back for some seasonal varieties!

Push a button at the walk up window and they will respond immediately. Sometimes they will see you even before you push the button. They have good cookies and great ice cream choices. It is inexpensive here.

Tried out their new Central location and bam! That place is amazing! Bigger seating areas, awesome Lobo wall, retro Ska wall! And of course, best cookies in the state! Service was polite and friendly. We basically bought 2 of everything and it was fantastic. Oatmeal toffee is my personal fav. Great new location guys! 😁

I would love to say that this business is the bees knees and their selection is stunning and the quality of their work is par excellence, but when I arrived to experience this bakery the sign on the door stated that they would be closed until the new year! I guess the citizens of ABQ know to buy their goods in advance of the Christmas/New Year holiday. I was quite disappointed to not be able to peruse their wares and ultimately leave with an assorted selection. The next time I venture to the city I will remember to call first, as checking their website AND Google had me confident that I was going to be able to purchase something sweet from them instead of experiencing the bitter taste of disappointment.

The deconstructed ice cream sandwich is a must-try. Chunks of warm melty moist cookies stirred into the ice cream flavor of your choice. So sugary, so heavy, but so yummy.

I passed by this place several times, but this is the first time that Ive ordered something. I got the Ice Cream Sandwich (6 dollars), which comes with two cookies and an ice-cream of your choice. I got Peanut Butter cookies with Sea-Salt Caramel ice cream. It was amazing! The cookies were soft and tasty, and the sweet and salty ice-cream was a perfect combination. I will definitely come back here for more!

OMG, this place is lethal. LOL definitely not cheap, but worth the treat! My bro and I each had milk, a cup of ice cream, and a Bazaar Bar, one of the monthly specials. Everything was so rich that I actually ended up taking my ice cream home. Cinnamon ice cream! I love that stuff, its so hard to find. The bazaar bar is a frosted cheesecake bar and the crust is crushed frosted animal cookies. Thank god it wasnt bigger, because it was soooo rich! This is definitely the place to celebrate something.

A friend brought us some Black Panther themed sugar cookies, by request, today. They were beautifully packaged and everyone’s orders were marked clearly for delivery by said friend. Also, the cookies are so wonderful. Not only is the design and piping work on point, the cookies themselves have a nice warm vanilla flavor, the royal icing has a nice crunch, and the cookie to icing ratio is just right. We will definitely be purchasing from Rude Boy Cookies again.

I love to go to their to-go window and order their weekly special cookie with home made buttercream frosting and a frosty flavored milk. Man what is afternoon without cookies and milk??? If you have a special occasion they will make you a special cookie for it. I do this for my resident parties and my doggie yappy hours. I even take their doggie cookies home to my furbabies. And if you have little kiddos at home during this horrible pandemic, they even have decorating cookie kits to keep them busy. Get your cookie fix.

Great cookies and customer service! I visited 4 other bakeries in an attempt to order an assortment of traditional NM cookies for an upcoming party. One of those bakeries didn’t know what a Mexican Wedding Cookie was and another wouldn’t make anything by special order. Fortunately, when I walked into Rude Boy and started explaining what I needed, the answer was “Sure, no problem. We can do anything you want.” Mexican Wedding Cookies? Check. Biscochitos? Check. Dia de los Muertos painted skull shortbread cookies? Check! I have found a neighborhood bakery that will have my business for many years. Oh, did I mention their cookies are delicious?

My job gave us a four cookie voucher so I took my kids to pick some out. We got there and were told by a man that theyre not taking anymore orders until after the holidays. The kids were bummed and as we walked away a younger woman hurried out and offered us the packaged broken cookies they don’t sell. They were individually packaged so you can barely tell theyre broken. She just handed them to us. That was VERY nice of her and I regret not having the opportunity providing a tip or something. Five star review for the woman and one star for turning us away so I settled on a 3. I was indifferent towards the cookies not bad at all but nothing super special.

Dont ever order from here. The right hand doesnt talk to the left. I was told that I only needed 72 hours to order. Then I got a phone call telling me I needed 2 weeks. I will never give them my business.

Rude Boy Cookies first caught my attention a few years ago while watching a Food Network seasonal baking competition special ago. In that, the owner of Albuquerque’s locally owned cookie shop did the Duke City proud by out-competing the rest and winning it all. Since then I have occasionally made the effort to stop by Rude Boy as to allow myself to enjoy some of their exceptionally well-made confections.Their main location (on Harvard) caters primarily to UNM students attending classes across the street on Central. As a result, this place has a bit more of a modern-millennial vibe to it. Whether it be it the milk bar: where patrons are encouraged to dip their baked good into glasses of milk, or the iPad styled registers at the counter. This place sure isn’t your quintessential bakery.Various cookies and brownies are generally what’s featured in the display window. Milkshakes are also a favorite among many who frequent here; as Rude Boy allows customers to get creative with numerous ice cream and cookie flavor combinations. My personal favorite is the white sugar cookie with colored sprinkles: not too sweet and baked just right as to provide an ideally soft yet crunchy texture.Buttercream tends to make everything better, and I always ask the counter employee if I could get some added to the top of my sugar cookie. There’s a small up-charge for this, but the buttercream is packed on their generously and makes for an amazingly sweet and diabetic inducing experience.For what it’s worth, Rude Boy is a great addition to the locally owned business hub that surrounds the University. For it allows students and other patrons alike to submit to their guilty pleasures.

I was looking for a sweet treat in Albuquerque and Rude Boy Cookies popped up on my search. I read the review about the Pistachio milkshake and decided to try it based on Aaron Carillos review. So awesome! I also endulged in a coconut rum milk shot and a Fruity Pebbles cookie that transported me back to childhood. #Winning!

Went to pick up cookies for our Grandson. The professionalism demonstrated was beyond reproach. The cookies were brought to our car and placed in back. Everything was provided so our Grandson can decorate them. A fun project to do at home. We will come back.

Its in a great place by campus surround by good restaurants. So go grab dinner somewhere around this area and then top it off with the best deserts at this place. They also make specialty cookies that will satisfy any sweet tooth out there. Im forced to go to this place almost every single week and I often find myself day dreaming about that milk shake. To make the experience even better, the staff is very friendly and you earn points as you go to earn free treats. This is a must try if you like sweets in any fashion.

Been wanting to experience this cookie place for awhile, and finally was able to. The reviews are pretty much all 5 stars which is actually pretty surprising because we didn’t find anything special about the cookies, ice cream or atmosphere. I had a deconstructed ice cream cookie sandwich, which is a cool concept, never heard of it, but I’ve had better tasting cookies at restaurants, and better tasting ice cream from Costco. Nothing worth coming back for. Safe to say, I would skip this dessert place.

Best cookies in town. We always get custom made cookies made here for special events. Fair price and fancy yummy cookies. Plus all the employees are so friendly and welcoming. Almost forgot to mention that the low carb cookies are soooo good. Not a fan of the sugar cookie, but my son likes it. Always go with the red velvet. Can’t go wrong there .

Found out about Rude Boy while reading an article about best cookie shops in each state. I have to say, we were not disappointed! A great little gem hidden right off the beaten path in Albuquerque. Not only were the cookies delicious (try the milk shots or the gluten-free options), the customer service was superb. What a wonderful little place.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Consumer beware! We were looking for a place to make Dr Seuss themed cookies for our son’s first birthday. This place agreed to accommodate us two weeks before his party and we ordered some samples in the meantime. When no samples were received a week and half before the party, we decided to follow up. It took another few days to get a response, which is when we were informed that the shop could no longer accommodate us due to “unforeseen circumstances”. God forbid we were notified proactively. We were left hanging a week before the party with no favors to give our guests. Oh, and they didn’t refund me for the samples until I had to follow up yet AGAIN. Terrible customer service. If you prefer a professional, stress free experience, stay away from this place. If you have unlimited time and resources and don’t mind being jerked around, by all means go to these guys, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.I’m so regretful that I even stumbled across their site in the first place.

This is a great place that offers a marvelous take on cookies. Everything there is super delicious and their milkshakes are really good as well. Some of their cookies can be a bit rich/sweet but they are still fantastic. They even offer vegan options as well. The interior can seem seem a bit cold (feel wise, not temperature wise) but its more than made up for by the cookies and shakes and waffles. A great place to go when youre looking for something sweet

Delicious cookies... we were on vacation and decided we would find somewhere for a treat. We tried 7 different flavors (over 2 days) and they were all fabulous! BUT the Biscochitos were amazing!! Hands down best cookies in ABQ! Love the unique specials and monthly rotation of new cookies and random specials (national popcorn day!) at a reasonable price. Atmosphere is really great, especially if you are into ska music or curious about it. Owners and staff are super friendly, always look forward to seeing Kristin (Food Network celebrity/cutie) and getting some yummy treats when in town!

Their baked goods are overall pretty good! My favorite thing is the banana creme tart. This is a super pricey bakery with a wild wait on most days. But if you are really craving it, its worth it. Ive had a few of their other cakes and basic baked goods and nothing else stood out as much as the banana creme tart. Their croissants are pretty good and the morning bun is alright.

The cookies were pretty good, but on the small side for $1.50 and $2.50. What initially attracted me the most to this place was the claim on the website that this was the only milk bar in Albuquerque serving milk “on tap”. We ordered a glass of milk and the employee reached into their fridge, pulled out a Smith’s gallon of milk and poured me a glass. I was really looking forward to the milk on tap! I was sorely disappointed to pay more for a cup of milk than what the actual gallon was worth. Get at me Rude Boy when you got the milk on tap. Won’t be back till then.

Heard nothing but great things about this cookie company. Had to finally try it for myself and see what all the hype was about. Walked in and was instantly greeted by the very friendly staff. I was blown away at the selections they had and that they did everything by hand! I spoke to Kristin about the business as well as how to go about placing a custom order. I will definitely be returning for some amazing cookies.

So, I have to just say I was so disappointed in coming here (University Location) cookies and brownie were stale. Service was ok. It couldve been better. Ska music was not playing. On the positive, I wouldve given them one star but l like I said restaurant was clean.

Every cookie that I have ever had at Rude Boy Cookies has been delicious! Some of them are almost to beautiful to eat but when you do finally eat it, it is the best cookie that you have ever had! The Lemon Bars and Apple Pie Bars are so good! And they have the best Sugar Cookies that I have ever tasted.The staff are so nice and it is just a fun place to go and have a good time!

I was hoping for a moist cookie but found the red velvet dry. I had not been to the shop before and wanted to mail out cookies today. I bought 2 dozens to mail out. I do hope they are better than the one I ate. No samples given out which was a bit disappointing so I bought one cookie to sample.

I went there, and I am one rude boy, and did not receive a rude boy discount. Disappointed. Good cookies though, 1/1 would eat again.
