Anyone of any color that likes to sew or quilt, just avoid this place. Rude and treats you like youre going to steal from them. This is a one and never again shop.Only lady that was nice was a sweet lady with short grey hair in a purple jumpsuit. She was sweeter than pie. But the rest of those ladies are not nice.

I took a years long break from quilting, but recently joined a block swap group and have been on the hunt for nice quilting cottons. I hadnt been in Quilt Works since they moved and was blown away by the quantity and variety of fabric from companies that I love, the organization and clean look of the store, the friendliness of the staff, and all the beautiful samples on the walls. Having made the rounds of Albuquerque quilt shops lately, Quilt Works is currently at the top of my list. I will definitely be returning soon.

Updating my review because I finally got around to looking closer at the fat quarters I bought. One of them was clearly dirty it felt greasy and had debris on it. None of them were the standard 18x22 or even the same size they ranged between 16-19x19-22.Selling goss used fabric is not okay.I guess I should have unfolded all of them and measured in the store. Instead of expecting a business to sell clean fabric.I will not be going back since it is quite obvious they do not care about the quality of their products.While this store has a great selection of patterns and colors. Tons of tools and lots of kits.There was some noticable side-eye when I walked in and they were noticably more polite/helpful to other customers. I am used to such with my casual dress and shaved head (joanns is way worse) but I will admit it was a bit saddening after hearing such high recommendations of this store.

Love the fabric selection here. The employees are knowledgeable with quilting, color choice and very friendly. The shop also offers classes for all skill levels, beginner sewist to someone with knowledge

I was just on a Facebook quilting page reading about someone’s negative experience at a quilt shop and was reminded to sing your praises. This shop has a great selection, is well organized and best of all the staff are kind, fun and helpful!

Their new location (right next to the old one) is considerably more spacious. Theyve got an excellent selection of fabric - one of the best in town by far. Huge batik collection, Tula Pink, Kaffe, modern and traditional. Pretty much any kind of fabric youre looking for theyve got it. I also like that they have a sale section thats actually a sale section! No 20 or 30% off stuff, its half price and they restock it every month.

They have fabric everywhere! Almost, and I say almost because I look for strange items, but almost anything you can think of. Nice quilting shop, has everything you need. Wonderful helping staff as well

I asked if I could only stop at 1 quilt shop in Albuquerque what would you recommend?This shop was conveniently located just off the interstate on the way to the airport in a small strip mall. Fabulous quilts and other sewn lovelies all on display with great selection of sale fabric. Sales people available but not pushy. Great selection of fabric. **before Covid in February 2020

Love their choice of fabric line. It took awhile for the staff to open up but once they did, we had a great conversation. The lady that checked us out was really talkative and helpful. If I am visiting Albuquerque again, I would definitely stop in for more shopping. I am a beginner self-taught quilter.

The remodel has left quiltworks with so much more space! It is much more comfortable to shop there. Their new classroom should be fantastic. The saleswoman Phyllis was extremely helpful.

My first visit. I searched online for Albuquerque quilt shops, before arriving from Maine. I went specifically to get the 2017 Balloon Fiesta Panel, left with much more. Great environment, friendly, great fabric selection.

This store is great. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Im a novice quilter so the extra help is always helpful. The fabric is top quality and they always have what I need. I highly recommend quilt works.

I love the window display the Quilt Works staff does. I just like to go there to admire their store front. They have great fabric as well. The flannels are fantastic.
