Adam was prompt and professional. He fixed my opener very quickly identified the issues, yes, issues, and fixed them all. Lubed the door and gave 2 new covers to replace my very old ones. Adam was awesome! I am suggesting Garage Doors by Nestor to everyone. Thanks so much

Garage doors by Nestor has been my go to for years. Needing a new opener and some repairs to my door I knew who to call. The Technician Adam came out and dialed me right up, explained all the features of my modern opener and within five minutes of him leaving had the whole thing synced up to my WIFI, Phone, and the buttons on my newer car. Recommended.

I committed the unforgivable sin of backing up before the garage door was completely open. The CRUNCH was a dead give away. I was certain to be in the doghouse until 2025. I was just as certain from the looks of things, I was going to need a new door. I called Garage Doors By Nestor and was given a same-day appointment--REALLY. Chris arrived right on time, and the first words out of his mount were This is not as bad as it looks. He went right to work with his vice-grip pliers, assorted wrenches, and screw drivers. In just 38 minutes the garage door was as good as new. I could not believe it. He proceeded to lubricate the door and recalibrate the door lifter. I had been contemplating mega bucks, but the whole procedure cost under $150. Great work, Chris, I am sure you have a magic wand. Why would anyone go anywhere else. My garage door needs will all go to GDBN!!

I understand that times are busy and schedules are tight. But wow, the lady who answered the phone was so rude about it! This repeat customer is done with them!

Had an appointment scheduled over a week out, which was fine. I showed up at 4:30 pm (my appt time) and nobody was at the house to meet me. I called the office and was told my appt was actually sometime between 4 and 4:30 and that I must have missed them.Ill give the benefit of the doubt and assume I was actually told between 4 & 4:30 (nevermind that if thats the case I likely would have put the appt in my calendar as 4 as opposed to 4:30). But maybe I messed that up. The point is they never called or emailed to confirm the appt and didnt call when I wasnt at the house to meet them. Disappointed I wasted this time.By the way....theyre garage doors. Why not take a picture and reach out to me to discuss options and then generate an estimate.Guess they have all the business they need.

Great customer service. Same day service and the technician had my door working great after installing new springs. Major dissatisfaction was the up charge for the replacement springs. Springs supplied by the technician were $130 more than what I could have purchased on Amazon or Home Depot. Unfortunate for such a large up charge. There is a five year warranty included. So I guess you are paying about $130 for the warranty. I needed my door repaired immediately, so I had to purchase from the technician.I asked the technician if I were to buy the parts on my own and have them install, would he perform the work. He said sometimes they will and sometimes they won’t, so I am not sure what their policy is regarding this request.I would suggest shopping around if you have time. I havw used them before, and they do provide great service and your door will perform better after they do their service. However, expect to take a hit in the pocketbook.

The bracket from our garage door opener came loose from the door and we needed a repair solution. I called Garage Doors By Nestor and set up an appointment at my next availability. Chris showed up on time and analyzed the door. I had originally thought that we might need to replace the door panel yet Chris provided the solution of a custom bracket. He didnt have all of the parts he needed so he said if we would still be available, he would go back to the shop and get them. He came back to the house within the hour and did the repair in less than 30 minutes. In addition, he lubricated all moving parts and got the door to function quieter than it ever has. All of this for $101 while a panel replacement would have cost substantially more. Having to work a garage door manually is not the end of the world, just an inconvenience. Due to the professionalism and knowledge of Chris, and him going the extra mile to get this done late on a Friday afternoon, we were able to regain that convenience and not have to wait through the weekend. We extend a very big Thank You to Chris and highly recommend Garage Doors By Nestor for any of your garage door needs.

This company is the OLD company of Nestor Garcia, who now owns Garage Door Doctor NM. Use that company instead. This one is now owned by Nestors ex-wife, who was nasty to me over the phone, and to several other people I have spoken with.

We went with the cheapest estimate, and got what we paid for. Dont know who to recommend, but strongly encourage you to keep looking. Not sure why the Google reviews are so good? Next time Ill just do it myself.

My garage door opener quit working one day as I was attempting to adjust the chain. It was as though it wasnt getting power. Light wouldnt come one....no sound like it was trying to work. I thought perhaps it blew a fuse or something. So I called Garage Doors by Nester. The repair guy came out. Looked up at the unit and asked me what was happening and I told him. He started saying that this garage door opener wasnt very good and there are no replacement parts. So I said ....so the only option I have is to replace it. Yes he said. Well how much will that cost? $325 plus tax for an inexpensive unit.. I told him Id think about it. I didnt believe a word he said since there was no diagnosis.....just a sales job. So I opened up the opener....unplugged all the connections and replugged them in. And bingo.....it started working perfectly. I had no experience....just a little determination and common sense.... and I saved $350. Wouldnt recommend these people unfortunately since I had been recommended to them by a friend of the owner. Always be leery of service people whose only recommendation is replacement without any diagnosis.

Great service, quick response, reasonable pricing. Spring broke, they came out and fixed it in 15min. Will definitely use in future for any other garage door repair/replacement.

I had Nestors install a garage door I ordered online from HD. The service technician came out and gave me an estimate, which was great because I need to budget my money and dont like surprises. The installer came out and installed the door, but it had some problems.Nestors service manager Chris contacted me about the problem, came out the next day, and promptly fixed all the problems. They care about their customers and want to make sure the job is done right. If I have any other problems with my garage door down the line, I will contact them to come take care of it.Ask them about their prices and services because they are a better deal than most big dealers, and they stand behind their work and service.

My husband and I highly recommend Garage Doors by Nestor. We called 2 different companies to come out and give us a quote. Their analysis of the problem was different and very costly, over $600. Chris from Garage Doors by Nestor came out and immediately analyzed the problem and said he could fix it immediately. We were extremely pleased with the cost, under $200 and the great customer service and professionalism Chris provided. Always good to get different quotes. So glad we found them!!

These people are awesome. I had gotten a quote from Precision that was over $600 + $60 trip fee + Tax to replace my garage door spring. So we had to pay $64.15 for them to tell us what we already knew. I decided to get a quote from Garage doors by Nestor, who were recommended by 2 of my co-workers. They gave me a free quote over the phone for $275 + tax......No Brainer, Ryland came over this morning and fixed it in less than an hour. He was very polite, professional, and knew what he was doing. I cant be more pleased with my experience with this company. Precision is a RIP OFF !
