Beautiful inventory.

A MUST SEE if you are in Albuquerque. The selection of Native American pottery and jewelry is absolutely amazing. All of the items they sell are made by local Native American Artisans. During my visit to the store a local Native American Artisan came in with GORGEOUS sterling silver and turquoise necklaces. They also carry Vintage turquoise jewelry. Ask about any sale items they have. I would HIGHLY recommend a visit to here if you are in the Albuquerque area. You will not be disappointed.

The staff at Rio Grande Trading Post are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people you will find in Old Town Albuquerque. One of the employees helped me pick out jewelry for my wife and daughters, and gifts for our boys, and even something for myself to connect with the native cultures and learn more about them. They made me feel welcome and not like a stranger. I greatly appreciate their kindness towards me. Their collection of jewelry, pottery and art is high quality and quite extensive. The staff was nice and informative. They displayed an amount of education about the art and other peices for sale in the shop. And finally, they were very polite.

They have really nice pottery and jewelry made by local artists. I wouldnt recommend for your average souvenir searcher, unless you have a large bankroll and plan on spending hundreds...no...thousands of dollars on collectibles.

Very good prices, great selection of old pawn & newer designs, dif. kinds of turquoise, pottery, etc. Knowledgeable people, which is very important buying genuine native Ametican jewelry. More pendants than almost anyone else. Definitely give this place a try.
