Came to buy a dirt bike and the salesman saw us looking at them and didn’t speak to us. I had to walk up to him and I said “ this must not be like a car dealership where they try to help you find what fits you. My business is going to Lafayette instead. Don’t judge a book by its cover. After reading through the reviews I’m not the first or the last that has not been greeted. You can apologize over and over but if your actions dont change, the words become meaningless.
Worst service ever. My spouse and I had came there to check out the Indian Chief and the Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT. Neither bikes were on the showroom, and thats ok. What wasnt ok was that the salesman acted as if he had to be somewhere else; anywhere else, but with us helping us. Its as if he or anyone else at that dealership simply didnt want to sell any bikes at all. If I ever get any one of those bikes, it definitely wont be from there.
This is the second time I’ve visited Lower and walked within 10 feet of employees (4 employees ganged up at service desk looked right at me)….not ONE person in the building said hello or offered any kind of assistance. I’m in the market for a motorcycle. Extremely poor initiative and representation of the brands they have in the building. An I can assist you as soon as possible would have worked, but to not even be acknowledged….
DO NOT purchase ANYTHING from Loewers nor use them to work on ANYTHING whether you bought it there or not. I bought a very expensive Kubota Zero Turn mower JULY/21. I had a flat on it last week. It requires a NEW tire. Loewers said theyd have to order it and will take 10 days to receive it. They want over $450 to replace/repair and sharpen the blades. I found the tire for a little over $100 from a competitor and they will replace/repair it, and sharpen the blades for under $200. I called to cancel the work at Loewers and arranged to pick up my mower. They promptly levied a DIAGNOSTIC FEE of $114 to tell me I had a flat, which I had already marked where the hole was on the FLAT tire. Since I was not going to use them and pay them TWICE the amount a NORMAL, respectable shop would charge, they wanted to make certain I paid SOMETHING. Their professional behavior is deplorable, and they operate with questionable ethics. The Service MANAGER told me that the diagnostic fee is charged for ANYTHING they have to do on any equipment brought in. They insult the general public by assessing a fee to tell them they have a flat, as if the average customer is not capable of detecting a damn FLAT TIRE. If you are in the market for any product line sold or serviced by this business, I strongly suggest you shop elsewhere.

Its sad when you have to threaten to get a lawyer involved to get warranty work done in a timely manner. Right at 3 weeks to even order parts when originally told from the start 1 week turn around times. Then their service guy Mike says that he will give a free oil change for the delays only to find out from the service manager Jeremy that he is the only one who can give out free oil changes. When Jeremy asked Mike if he said that he would give me a oil change Mike said he NEVER said such a thing. No honesty from this company from the sales room all the way to the service department. I will be taking my business elsewhere-in the future.

I drove 4 hours to purchase a Harley-Davidson Road King. Jason Moose Thompson had patiently answered all my questions during a our first phone conversation. I felt welcome upon arrival, as I was warmly greeted by Nita. Jason went over details of the bike and it was obvious that he was very knowledgeable, professional and patient. After meeting with Lisa, who was very personable, for the bill of sale and payment, It was time to load the Harley onto the U-Haul trailer. The temperature was in the 20s, as it was the Saturday, February 13th, before the big storm. Jason rode the bike into the trailer and helped until all the tie-down straps were all securely in place... all while wearing a short sleeve shirt! Ask for Jason or Moose and you will not be disappointed!

I called this morning with a specific bike in mind that they had on the website. Only one of two within 400 miles of where I live and this was the closest which was about an hour and a half from my house. I called Mike this morning and told him what I wanted. He got the ball rolling very quickly. He was very friendly and quick to get back to me with pictures of the bike and answers to any questions I had. By days end, I had my keys. Most painless buying experience I have had. Jason had all my paperwork ready when I got there and we shared a few funny stories about riding and other things (hint: election was on this day 😉), and I was on my way! Thanks you two for making my day and for being efficient, friendly, prompt and professional all at the same time. Hard to find this day and age! Will be buying all my future toys from here. Wifey is interested in that Green slingshot. God help us!

This place changed quite a bit. Fewer street bikes. Dirt bikes and 4wheelers. They do have a ok selection now of pontoon boats, fishing boats and side-by sides. Custom services is VERY HARD TO REACH BY PHONE!!!!This is very BAD 👎considering most people dont live near by. They tell you on recording theyll call you back.NOT!! NO ATTEMPT WHAT SO EVER. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS MAKING A SALE 👈 PLEASE DONT LEAVE PEOPLE WAITING LIKE THIS!! On a POSITIVE NOTE, We have had GREAT SERVICE on our street bike 👍 Also the guy behind the counter for parts is friendly 👌THANKS 😊

Worst customer service when it comes to fixing your unit. I purchased warranty and still nothing was covered. I purchase a rzr from them used and 3 months later motor was gone. They did not want to fix it and wanted me to pay for a new motor. The sad part is that I did not even use it as much. I will never go back to this dealer.

I recently purchased a 2020 Indian Scout Bobber from Loewer PowerSports. Id been shopping around for awhile and spoke to sales people from the Indian dealer in New Orleans and also at Loewer. The staff at Loewer PowerSports was nicer and answered all of the questions I had. The whole experience went pretty smoothly and I got my dream bike. It was about a 2hr drive for me to get there, but it was worth the drive. I highly recommend paying them a visit if they have what youre looking for.
They are closed on Mondays. Never thought I would have to look online to check hours at 1pm on a Monday, but after loading up my equipment and driving for 40 minutes, I found out the hard (and expensive) way that they are closed on Mondays. Grrr! It would be nice that if you sell people things that cost $20,000 or more that you would have a normal work week so people can get back to making money!UPDATE: Thanks for the reply. I definitely wrote the review during the peak of my frustration. Monday is a work day for me (and Saturday, too) so when I needed you guys, it did not even cross my mind that I should go check the internet to see if you were open on a Monday. So, after hooking everything up, chaining everything down, driving to your shop and then seeing that you were closed, believe me, I was pretty upset and thats when I wrote this review. Due to the way you responded and by my cooling off period, I have decided to change my review to four stars. If you guys ever decide to open on Mondays then I will change my review to five;)
I only dealt with the parts counter and dreamed about a new Honda Talon. The parts counter was prompt and helpful and gave me what I needed. The sales people let me look and window shop without pressure. I bought my 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000 M3 here, and have had nothing but good experiences with sales, service, and parts. I have only had to do routine maintenance on this Honda. Very durable and versatile

If you own a Honda, which I can only speak for then Loewer Power Sport is your best friend. I have rode bikes since I was 8yrs old and have lived all over the USA and 2 foreign countries and the staff are the most helpful and honest people Ive dealt with in 47 years of riding. No is not in their vocabulary. There are some maniacs that claim to work on motorcycles but are really just a scam, I own a Triumph and a Honda 1100 so my advice is go to a reputable place thats been in business for a long time and Loewer cant be beat. Thank you Mr David in parts and everyone in service.

I was deeply disappointed with the communication of this company. I understand that COVID-19 is preventing companies from their normal person-to-person transactions, but that is no excuse for someone to not return your calls. Two weeks is ridiculous. Michael Simpson needs to take better care of his clients. A return phone calls goes a long way.

My buying experience with Loewer PowerSports was great! Josh was really great to work with. They didnt have the Spyder I wanted in stock, but they made some calls and found it for me. They had it shipped in and ready for me in less than 2 weeks. Josh was always available and kept me updated throughout the process. I couldnt have asked for a more genuine and professional salesperson to help me. And the Parts and Service guys were also very helpful and patient with me and all my questions.
Brought 2 Sea Doo’s in for tune up and in addition wound up buying a new one due to sales promotion and professionalism of entire staff. Stan Tyler in sales was extremely helpful, Jason in the shop was very accommodating and even the owner, Scott Loewer, gave us the post delivery briefing on all the features of the new Sea Doo. This is a customer service oriented company in all areas.
I called 10:30 on a Monday morning (store opens at 8:00 am). The automated answering system instructed to me press 0 to leave a message. I did as instructed, but the automated answering system get taking me back to the original opening greeting. Each time I pressed 0, I would hear the same message. It has been 19 minutes at 42 seconds, as I type this review, but still no live person has picked up the call, and I still cant leave a message. How does a business with this kind of service keep their doors open?

Walked in to buy a zero turn but all the salesman were busy. I understand that. I called twice the next day but could not get a salesperson. Finally I got someone named Michael. He was to call me with what was in stock at my price range. He texted me once asking about my trade in and then that was it. He didnt even text me back when I texted him. A week later I called again and after several tries I finally get Michael again. He once again was to call me back with what was in stock but never did. If they dont even care about making a sale then I can only imagine how bad service after the sale is. I wouldnt recommend anybody do business here.

I received prompt service from a salesman that knows his business and went beyond that to ensure I received the part I needed. Great staff creates a great store. Salesman also very courteous and assertive.
I am writing this review for my Dad who recently purchased a motorcycle there. He said the staff was very professional and provided excellent service. He was able to browse the store and look at the motorcycles without any pressure from any sales reps. Since the bike he wanted was popular and out of stock, the service manager was able to locate one in less than hour and they had some one go pickup it up the same day.
I dont want to even give these people one star. First they kept my boat for a month on a 5hr job, I understand things happen but when I would call I would get a different answer from everyone I spoke to. The part not in, no its in but your not on the schedule, etc. Then when the part was finally in they found another issue. Well Im country but not stupid. The service manager gave me a price for the part, that I had already called the company about and they were going to charge me $176.00 more for the part. The part cost $202. They were going to charge me $376.00. yes your in business but come on! So I looked in the part that was already put on and guess what I found, they made $100.00 on that one. So went to speak with the GM and was promptly blown off. Tired to explain but my words hit the wall. So Im heading home with a boat that I have $1100 in and its still doesnt work!!! Left a message for the owner but have not gotten a response as of yet. We will see how he cares about his business! I will follow up after I speak to him.
Called in to buy a friend a tire for his bike and after being on hold for 5 minutes a part guy came on. Now I am in the service business and he was not helpful at all; merely an order taker. I would want to offer solutions to correct a local clients problem....not this guy. Very disappointedSo that review above was almost a year ago. I reach out to them requesting a quote and someone to talk to about perhaps buying a generator and never heard from anyone and didnt even get a response email thanking me for my inquiry. They must do so much business they dont need to respondOn top of that, I go down there to check on what generators they have and decided to go ahead and pull the trigger the level of service I have been provided up to this point and the fellow asks me how I planned to pay for it and when I tell him CC he tells me that they are going to charge me 3% for using a credit card. Now I have sucked up the poor response time and terrible customer service all the way up to this point without haggling over price now you are going charge me to do business with you?!!!!
My salesman Tim took extra time and stayed late on the Friday before Christmas and made sure my new side by side was cleaned loaded and ready to go. The price on website is price I was given, took care of us by answering all questions and explained everything fully. Great experience and will be back for future purchases of power equipment and ATV/ UTV needs

At a powersports equipment dealer I expect some type of salesperson to approach me. I am a customer that is ready to make a purchase. Nobody acknowledged that my wife and I were there. On a another note there used equipment did not appear to have been cleaned or prepared for resale almost like it was put directly on the showroom floor from a trade-in.
The staff is great. They went out of their way to ensure I was happy and had what I needed. This was my second major purchase at Loewer, and I’ll go to them again on my next one.
We could not have asked for better customer service when we arrived to look at zero turn mowers. from the moment we entered the door we were greeted and redirected to a salesman. No high pressure sales techniques. we told him what we were looking for as well as our price range, and our concerns at never have owned a Kabota or a zero turn, he explained various models in relation to the amount of land we had. and explained exactly how mower operated. Did not try to sell us more mower than what we needed. Due to health issues I am no longer able to do lawn maintenance, but being a country girl I miss it so much. However, my husband loves keeping up with our yard, and after purchasing our new zero turn Kabota, he enjoys lawn maintenance even more, It has even cut down on time it takes to mow. He has only cut grass once,, and getting ready for second cutting with all this rain. So far we have been well pleased. Will be recommending Loewer to anyone looking for a new mower

My wife and I stopped in on our way to Lafayette. I had been mulling the decision of which bike i wanted. Loewer had the Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Honda 300 models in stock and ready to check out. I couldnt find one other than the Honda in the Monroe/Ruston area. There was no pressure at all from the sales staff. I was free to look and sit and feel. Any questions that i had were quickly answered. Carl was great and helped us through the whole process. Negotiations went quickly and without the feeling that it was a battle. My experience from the showroom to signing the papers was smooth and personable.
It seems they are incredibly friendly when they are selling you something. But repair time, stand by for a much less rewarding experience. Much less.
Had Kubota serviced this morning. Wouldnt start. Service department diagnosed and repaired in less than 30 minutes and with kindness and professionalism. This is my first service visit to Loewer...thumbs up to yall. I think the service guys last name is Reid. Well done.
I get better service at the Shell station half the people there act like they dont even want to help you or dont even know what theyre talking about get I decided to give him a call about putting two small speakers on my motorcycle on eBay the speakers cost $100 they would install them and everything else for close to $700 I think Ill take my chances of wiring it myself on the other hand Friendly Honda in Baton Rouge are good has good service
I bought a Kubota zero turn mower and the sales experience was by far flawless. Chris was very friendly and knowledgeable on the mower and knew what I needed and took the time to make sure I understood everything about the mower. No pressure just a pure pleasurable buying experience. And he really made it clear why I didnt need to buy the competition and Im really glad I listened.

Very poor customer service. Every time I have dealt with their sales staff they never seen interested. I have called multiple times wanting to go purchase new bikes and they say theyll check on the price and call me back and never do. So I go buy at other dealers. Shop else where if your looking to deal with motivated sales people.
Excellent customer service and great prices. Got me the rancher i wanted for the price i wanted. Only con i have is i got put on there loyalty program to earn points and after paying cash for my rancher i was disappointed that i didnt receive not one point on the entire purchase. i would have thought that much of a purchase would give me a good bit of points but i didnt get any.

Guess they dont need to sell more tractors. I walked all thru the Kubota cab tractors. Employees coming out to their smoking spot, nobody said anything. Went inside and stood around, nobody asked me anything while they walked past. Ill take my buisness somewhere else to buy a 50k tractor.

Terrible. I took my brand new new side by side which I bought from them several times back to them for the same problem. It was overheating and they kept telling me they could find nothing was wrong with it, even after I showed them the video of all the lights on and water boiling out. I even went as far as to talk to the assistant manager. That was a lost cause. After the last time I went and got it I took it straight to another dealer. They plugged it in and it showed up the problem right away. Pretty sure they need to rethink there mechanical department. I really hope anyone buying from them doesn’t have a problem with what they buy because I did not get any help.

Christian owned business, great sales men and parts manager. I have bought from them for over 10 years with no issues, due to things that they can control. If the manufacturer has back ordered parts they try to find a way to keep me up and running. Schedule your service work and this is NO issues or long waits.
Great selection. They carry every major atv/utv/motorcycle and lawn equipment brand! However not very helpful when I went to the showroom. I guess make your choice on line and go in to finalize the sale!

After paying over 17,000.00 in full for my 6x6 camo Polaris, the day I paid for it, the battery was dead,,after.driving 53miles they never replaced the battery and told me it would take a couple of days to replace it(.6 weeks later)) after not returning my phone calls, I went to get it, or my money back.rhey refused to return my money,the bike was a year older than I was told, some idiot was told to wash the bike, and scratched every inch of plastic on body.some scratches were 1/8 to a 1/4 inch deep,The salesman was shocked,I was very disappointed, i called my bank, and they put my funds back in my account.The crooked owner must know the crooked judges in Alexandria, because the thought of a lawsuit only made the manager laugh.Capital One Bank is the best,,they took my funds back from THE WORST HONDA DEALER SHIP I EVER SEEN((.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME THERE!,))They fired the young girl that tried to help ME get my money back, because she told my Bank the TRUTH .I m a Business owner for 25 years,,I usually would not mention anything about another business. BATON ROUGE HONDA WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF $$$,,ITS WORTH TH DRIVE.

Very poor craftsmanship. Drove almost 3 hours to get a polaris ranger from here. Get it home and the doors rattle and there are bolts missing and broken. Regret ever buying from here. Now I have to take it to a dealer that is close to me and hopefully get everything fixed.
I have done business with Loewers since 1999. I had one bad experience and wrote a bad review. That was me, not them. They are a good place to do business with if you are willing to have patience. Ive bought many utvs from this dealership and have been very pleased with them. I always use Chris Howerton as a salesman as he has always taken care of any questions or issues I might have plus always returns a phone call. I went to Loewer Powersports and purchased a oil filter for my kabuto lawn mower they charged me $12.08. I took it to Napa and got one for $4.94. I returned Powesports filter back.
Bought a sthil chainsaw from here I went to swipe my card and it was declined and told them Id be back in the morning. I go back in the morning and they were holding on to it for me not many places will do that. Also if you buy a gallon of the sthil motomix you can get a 2 year warranty on it
I was looking for a replacement for my chainsaw and was recommended to buy a Stihl instead of the cheapo lines carried by the DYI box stores. I went to Loewers and they not only went out of their way to show me the line of product they carried but did a full service and instruct on how to best start and use the chainsaw I bought. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a knowledgeable and friendly sales staff with a great product line.

Incredibly professional with no pretense or stretching truth about product or purchasing procedure. My sales rep, ( Brad ), was straitforward and really knowledgeable about the Indian chieftan dark horse I had fell in love with 2 yrs. Prior . We actually traveled south to Alexandria from northern Louisiana just because of his honesty and attitude towards his work...I cant explain how much I love the bike,( I am an avid bike rider, not into the culture, but crazy bout the riding experience ).But making my purchase at Loewers powersports made it even more enjoyable.

The salesman are not helpful at all. If you dont have Atop credit they ate not willing to work with you. They do not have good manners at all they try to low ball you on trade ins. Very unhappy now I understand why 4 of our friends went to other dealers and bought utvs with NO problems!!
