Awful. My wife bought a so-called aluminum pie shield, made in Taiwan, on October 19 or 20. We tried it out for the first time now and it left the crust covered with flakes of silver paint. (See the attached photographs.) I wrote a longer review of the product (CRU 302083) on the Sur La Table website, but I suspect they wont post it. So Im writing here. You need to remove this product from your shelves, because its a health hazard.
They have absolutely everything you could possibly want or need for your kitchen! The selection is enormous and they have reasonably priced items! The staff is knowledgeable about the products and are willing to take the time to talk with you and make sure that you are making the right purchase! If your shopping for someone and you dont know what to get them you cant go wrong with kitchen items! They get two thumbs up in my book!
Too expensive for what it was. On Date night, there are 8 couples and you share cooking materials with another couple. So your partner, you and a random couple will share tasks in order to make the meal. The amount of food served was minimal. We paid $158 for 4 oz of steak between me and my husband and we didnt even got to cook our own steak, because the other couple did it. You are out in two hours. We will never got back. Waisted our time.
The staff member helped me purchase my items and even let me leave it there for 15 minutes while we ran another quick errand down the street. My only complaint is that it appeared that I was the only one in the store so maybe acknowledge people a little faster. I was standing in the same area, with my 2 yr old for what felt like 10 minutes, prior to the good service.
Friendly staff with quality cooking utensils. Also the seem to have cooking classes available. prices seem reasonable and the place is nicely laid out
We had a good experience shopping here. The selection was great, and the staff was friendly and willing to answer questions and pull items out from behind the glass. We found exactly what we needed and will definitely be returning to Sur La Table stores.
Incredible selection of kitchen goods. The staff was very nice and helpful, and even walked me through a special order I had to make online for something they didnt currently have in stock. It is still a bit pricey, but expected for quality goods. Everything Ive purchased here has lasted me a very long time.
The beltway had a truck accident and fire, closed all lanes. I asked to reschedule a class for my wife and I and was told, “unless you are going to the emergency room, You have an hour and 45 minutes to make it.” Done, that was the first class of many we planned to take at Sur La Table. Now the absolute last.
Such nice staff and clean organized store. They even do returns from online orders.
Noone likes a going out of business sale for a wonderful store like Sure la Table yet when rent is raised 3x during Covid, who can blame them?
Amazingly clean, and the person was knowledgeable and helpful! Giving 4 stars because I had to ask for help and wasnt acknowledged until then, though I had been in the store for 30+ minutes.
Cooking class was very fun.
Do you need slightly expensive fancy kitchen stuff? These folks have it. Pro tip...buy and use their mulling spices.
This is a great local kitchen gadget store, but what makes it better than other stores is that they offer some really fun and easy cooking classes which are great ideas for date night and things like that. Check it out .. Youll be glad you did.
Special thanks to chef Heather and Barbara for creating such a fun and beautiful day for us all.I definitely recommend and will attend more events
Can find good quality kitchen items of most anything you may need.
Love their selection of kitchen goods. They can be a bit pricier than similar places but the quality is worth it.
Sur La Table is fantastic! Its an one-stop shop for any and all kitchenware. Whenever you need something kitchen-related, Sur La Table has got you covered. From espresso machines to muffin pans to cleaning supplies, Sur La Table has so much to offer. Cookware, cutlery, dinnerware, and bakeware galore!Even just browsing the store is an adventure, as you end up finding something you never thought you needed but desperately do. Like avocado slicers, 8-piece seafood kits, Miyabi knives, Le Creuset cast iron pots, juicers, even Nespresso machines. Seriously, Sur La Table has everything. The prices are reasonable too, a cheaper Williams-Sonoma. Sur La Table also frequently has sales and clearances, both online and in-store. Great store to find gifts for everyone without breaking the bank.I also have to give props to Sur La Table for their attentive and warm customer service. Pretty much every staff member is friendly and helpful.Additionally, this Sur La Table location offers cooking classes in the back. Check out what they offer online! My boyfriend and I took a Surf & Turf cooking class at this Sur La Table. It was a fantastic date night and we learned some great cooking techniques. The class was led by a professional chef and there were three other instructors/assistants who helped out. We worked with another couple to make beef tenderloin with green peppercorn sauce, seared sea scallops with a blood orange vinaigrette, blasted cauliflower with lemon and chili, and chocolate whiskey souffle. Everything is pretty much diced and measured out for you and you go through the recipe steps/follow the instructors directions to make each of the dishes. While I wish that not everything was sliced/measured out and that each couple had their own burner, it was a good opportunity to interact with other people. Its a fun, interactive class and you learn how to make dishes that youll be able to recreate at home.Students receive a 10% discount coupon to use at the store for a week after the class.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Terrible, unfriendly, unresponsive management and staff. Overpriced, unreliable, mediocre kitchen items. Do not recommend. STAY AWAY! Do your kitchen shopping elsewhere.
Great location near the Market Square...
Great location, very friendly staff. This location has cooking classes.
Friendly staff. Very knowledgeable.
I work here and I love it
