Lots of sales, values and helpful staff. Love the fact that instead of TELLING you where things are, you are shown. Dying breed of customer service. Went in looking for a DMC color guide...did not find it but managed to walk out with $65 of OTHER crafting ideas! Lol!

Love this place! So many different types of fabrics and designs. I spent 2 hours in there! Excellent place to find things you need for all kinds of crafting.

Pretty cool. Had lots of things I wanted but prices on items themselves were non-existent and was not clearly organized. Staff was friendly though.

Compared to the Shreveport location this store is about on par with them. Slightly better due to having the Yaya Han line here in Alexandria. Selection of crafts is usual. Only gripe is that it is kinda in a hidden area and obscured so it can easily be missed. Other than that, service is great and friendly. Will return to this location again.

Went looking for wool or wool blends they did not have one bolt in the store. Poor selection of upholstery fabrics mostly cheaply outdoor fabric. Row of fleece available, high priced too. Wish Hancocks was still here

It isnt the first place I would recommend to get crafting supplies as far as yarn goes due to the price. However they do have an immense amount of different types of fabric that seem reasonably priced.

I really like this store. Im not particularly crafty but I want to be when I walk in this place! Its laid out well, fair prices, good deals and very clean.

Went in to buy a sewing machine as my 40-year-old college graduation gift from my grandmother went home to be with the Lord. The girl who opened the locked cases for us knew nothing about their machines, but fortunately sent someone more knowledgeable to help us. Success.

The customer service is excellent. The workers are knowledgeable about the products and projects that customers may be doing. They help you save money by helping you navigate their neat app!

Love this place! I go in there after 1 specific item and get completely sidetracked by all the other variety of nice things they have to offer.

With such a surprisingly broad selection of merchandise, of consider this more of a craft store than simply a fabric store. The staff was friendly and seemed able to answer whatever questions I had. All around, a better experience than most retail in Alex.

Bought 5 patterns simplicity at $1.99 each and 3 yards of cotton stretch wSpandex to make me some pants. Everyone courteous. Appearance organized and clean. Great prices fabric was marked down from 16.99 per yard to 5.99.

Love it here. Some things are pricey so I keep up with the sales. If you download the app you can get a 50% coupon to use on one item every visit. Perfect for last minute runs on forgotten crafts. Wide selection of fabric, jewelry supplies and vinyl.

I wish I could take my star back my service was so poor. I was asked if I wanted a bag. I bought 5 big decorative boxes. And I just witness the cashier give the customer in front of me a bag for 1 thread. Their cashiers are the worse the younger theyre!

So mad.... Saw the sign saying they were having a huge 90% off sale.. even had signs hanging on their beads saying they were 60% off ... Got to the counter and everything I had was full price because the sale doesnt start till Thursday. What?!? I gave her all my stuff and walked out.

The store is a smaller Joanns, but it was very clean, spacious, and comfortable to plan in. The clerk could have been friendlier, but she was knowledgeable.

Terrible options. Terrible customer service. Yarn selection is awful, fabric selection is pitiful. Seems like they only cater to holiday decor. They screw up online orders, are rude when you call the store and ask questions. If you dont want to talk to people get out of retail!!! I cant get near the amount of things I used to at other stores. Might as well change the name to Joanns Decor Store. Ill be going to Michaels.

They had a lot of cool stuff, but they did NOT have many of the popular/important stuff that other craft stores do have. Plus, the stuff they did have, was very overpriced.But they do have a better Rewards Program/Customer Benefits, which neither of the other craft stores do.

They gave a good variety and everyone is very helpful.

Staff is always helpful answering any questions and finding things needed. The app is wonderful tool for coupons, ads and more to use while in store. Im addicted to all the yarn choices lol.

The store location is great. However the current associates are not people oriented. Look for Shelia. Great attitude.

The staff here is incredibly helpful. If you are looking for somethjng, they dont just point you in the right direction, they will actually take you to where you need to be. They also help to make sure you are paying the lowest amount for your items by looking for extra coupons for you to use. The drawback to me is that their selection is so limited. If they grow this location, I would give it the full five stars.

The store was fine, but I felt a bit unwelcomed.

Only 1 young white female employee knew what customer service is, knew her store and products and seemed to enjoy her job. That is rare and very appreciated. Without her this would be a 1 or no stars review.

You call a buissness and they want you to go line and look cant tell me what u have in ur store. I will not buying my fabric from there cant even answer my ? Really people.

The cashier was very nice and welcoming. She was even nice about my questions about the coupon. When I went to wait for someone to cut my fabric I didnt wait that long (as opposed to waiting 5 min for a Walmart associate to come to the cutting table.). I didnt wait long also because it was only me and another person in there shopping. On a busy day the ONLY reason it would take long is if a customer had like 5 bolts of fabric and wanted multiple things. Great service, great wait time.

Came in on a slow day, only a couple customers in the store. Seen several employees but no one at the register. I finally tracked down an employee and had some questions about a machine ai was looking to buy (Nearly $400). They employee never really heard my question because she was too busy talking to someone in her ear piece... She then sent me to wander through the store to look for another employee to answer my question. I told her Id be waiting over but the machines I was looking to buy. After about ten minutes of nobody coming to help I left, drove across town to Hobby Lobby, had my question answered and purchased my machine. A little customer service goes a long way.

Way over priced and not that great of a selection. Ok if u just have to have something but only as a last resort.

Staff very rude asked a question and response was I dont know took 30 mins for what was supposed to be a 5 mins trip took me about 7 to 8 mins to finally get help at the fabric cutting section lady walked by looked me in the eyes and proceeded to scoff and walk by without helping. I wish Hancock fabrics was still at this location they were alot friendly and cheaper priced!!!

The store in Alexandria, LA is not as nice as the other Joann stores Ive been in. Its got a decent selection of fabric but otherwise, not really impressive.

I love fabric stores! Joann Fabrics and Crafts has just about anything I could possibly want or need in the studio. The problem is avoiding the temptation to buy every gadget. :)
