Im sorry but I have never had such a plain-tasting and mediocre sandwich that cost $14. Definitely just make your own sandwiches. The shop itself is cute but, please - to regulars of Slaters - please have more respect for your stomach and your wallet. This is the 3rd sandwich Ive tried from Slaters, and I have never been more confused in my life about why there are so many 5-star reviews. Youd get better value buying a sandwich from the airport.

Love this place! The food is always so good with fresh ingredients and plenty of options so you never get bored. Scott has done a great job adding to the menu, and the service is consistently top notch. It is my go-to for lunch and snacks, and my best secret weapon for persuading friends to come hang out.

Good food, friendly service! HUGE sandwich that ended up being two meals for me (The Last Waltz: Thick Sliced Turkey, Stuffing, Turkey Gravy, Sour Cherry Spread, Hint of Hellmanns) and nice selection of other food. A little on the pricey side (~$30 for lunch for 2: Two sandwiches & two bags of chips), but its worth it--Ill be back!

Slaters Market has become a destination for a growing number of foodies and non, who want some great food and gourmet shopping in a local setting. With owner Scott at the helm and present almost every day, the Market offers the convenience of 7-day service and generous operating hours. My personal favorite are the gourmet sandwiches, which include some of Scotts great finds in terms of high-end ingredients, magic sauces, and artisan breads. They also have a great selection of wines from most places in the world, cheeses, deli meats, imported sweets and even ice creams--plus sodas, specialty soft drinks and other nuggets that are hard to find anywhere else.I have been a customer for years, and never did I ever walk out without a smile on my face. Also, there is room for both inside and outside seating (albeit limited by the small space of the operation), and it is refreshing to have a non-chain that provides the PERFECT neighborhood dining and relaxing experience. I love Slaters Market and will continue being a customer.

The market is small, but has a lot of wines and a great variety of snack items that you cant find other places.

Every time, a staffer greets me and has a lovely conversation about politics, the weather, wine they love, or which ice cream is a hot seller.Sandwiches are a must-have. I am a huge fan of the Old Town Tuna melt, the Last Waltz, and the I Did it My Way Italian. If youre feeling frisky, get the Italian heated. Its tasty.Im a sucker for sweets, so I cant resist Scotts array of brownies, cookies, ice cream sandwiches (get the cookie monster if you want that ice-cream truck feeling).Dont forget to grab a bottle of wine on the way out!

Just moved into town and decided to check out the local scene. Walked by Slaters Market and decided to check it out. Wow, very impressive. Extensive wines and beers and snacks galore! Ordered two sandwiches that were awesome. Will definitely be coming back!

Wed like to keep Slaters Market to ourselves, because this is such a local gem. The owner, Scott, is the man. He runs a great business, providing great food (soups, salads, sandwiches), good service, and an assortment of beer, wine, and champagne.

This is such a cute place that the community adores! The kids come in to get ice cream and the sandwiches are loved by all! Their selction of wines and beers are very diverse and theres a wonderful variety to choose from. Scott is the owner and he is a wonderful guy who is always there for his customers! Thank you Scott!

It’s a perfect little market! Great made to order to-go sandwiches, excellent wine selection, well curated craft beer selection. Really, what more could you ask for?The owner made great beer and wine suggestions for my wife and I and we had a few great sandwiches for lunch. Great little place, highly recommend!

Great tomato soup! Salads and sandwiches have always been a hit. Beer and wine selection rotates in some gems - 3 Floyds most recent rare find.

We had some delicious lunch sandwiches but the whole menu looked amazing and we’ll be back to try more! Also a wonderful selection of wines, local beers, and other small eats.

Extremely friendly and they carry Trickling Springs Ice Cream! A nice selection of fine drinks and deli items. They carry fresh baguettes and Illy coffee too.

Great lil’ shop, full of unique bevies and snacks. I got a chicken sandwich on toasted ciabatta, and the house pesto aioli was superb. Will definitely be back!

Awesome place to grab breakfast (served all day!) or lunch. One of the few places around with a small town feel and very friendly staff. They also have a nice selection of wine and fresh milk and ice cream from Trickling Springs creamery.

Just had a lovely breakfast prepared by the owner, Susan, with a great conversation. For a small store, this place has a fantastic wine selection and healthy breakfast/lunch alternatives compared to its neighbors- Buzz is mostly sweets, Rustico is more sit-down pricey, and the smoothie place next door feels more like a hippy Subway. They also serve Illy coffee (Buzz doesnt anymore) and really pride themselves on good ingredients like Boars Head meats. The wine and cheese selection is always varied and delicious- great little place.
