Super high-quality artisanal offerings. This place is so good. We enjoyed a couple of small plates. The soup of the day was a pumpkin with jalepeno that was one of the staffs own recipe. It was a little spoon of heaven. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can tell that the employees are invested in the places success. They are able to make most dishes Gluten-free as well. I had the home-made icream sandwich for dessert and it was lovely. Well be back! Oh, the patio is dog friendly as well. I made friends with another diners dog, Erin.

It’s the service and people that carry the day to a five star rating, and that’s true here. Good beer and wine selection, very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Terrific neighborhood dining with a cozy patio and friendly service. The menu is a little bit limited = mostly sandwiches and salads - but all are great and made with fresh ingredients. The warm, savory bolognese and the chicken/basil sandwich, juicy and stacked with bell peppers and pesto, are my go-to dishes. Great selection of meats, cheeses, and other specialty grocery items inside.

This is a great local place for a nice bottle of wine. They also have a large selection of beer and small grocery section with Italian pastas and sauce. The food is a selection of small plates and some larger main course meals. The cheese selection is a hidden treasure and always worth it. Enjoy!!

Great neighborhood joint- delicious food, fantastic rotating selection of wine (beer too!) and incredibly friendly & knowledgeable staff. My only complaint would be itd be nice if they switched up the menu items from time to time.Highly recommend the ham & gruyere sandwich or the BLT.

I ordered the salmon entrée and loved it. We also ordered the deviled egg appetizer - yum! Basically everything from the rose to the ice cream sandwich dessert was spot on.what a hidden gem. Service was delightful. We had a new person who did very well for her first night. The entire staff checked on us, chatted with us and were very hospitable.

They have a great vibe going. Food is ok and the service excellent. Wine is good in some parts but less so in others. We had a rose that left something to be desired. Beer selection is limited but good

The market offerings and service are great here! Friendly staff inside knowledgeable about the coffee, beer and wine they sell. Great selection for such a small shop and they also offer food including milk, ice cream, etc.The restaurant side is whats holding this back from 4 or 5 stars for me. Service is friendly,, but pretty slow. The menu is interesting in concept, but lacks in execution and flavor.

Perfect neighborhood spot! Love walking, running or riding here with my wife. They also usually have Sunday Growler Fills for a discount that is good. The ambiance is nice and sitting outside is enjoyable dependent on the weather. I highly recommend this place, the only downfall is that you will realize the dent in your wallet when you get your bill.

Great local spot in Rosemont, between Del Ray and Old Town. Menu is limited but all of the menu items are great - from sandwiches to freshly made soups and pasta. They also have an extensive beer and wine selection for purchase, as well as ice cream and other prepared foods.

Convenient, friendly neighborhood shop

It is a tiny little place that tries to stock things other stores dont. Beer, wine, some groceries and prepared food. Very nice people.

The food, as always, is excellent. The wine selection is solid with multiple countries and vintages. One qualm is that their portion sizes have gotten smaller while the prices have remained high. The corking fee is also far too steep at $15 making cheaper wines almost double the price.

The food is delicious, the prices are decent and the staff is kind and pleasant.

Friendly staff. Fantastic variety of whatever you happen to be craving at the moment. Need wine? Its here. Need a craft beer? Yup. How about a great coffee? Sure. Need a well done cup of tea? You got it. Gourmet lunch or snack- No problem.. They just know what you need and they have it. And they do it very well. Bonus: Fido is welcome.

Such a sweet little place. The mimosas are delicious, as is the coffee. Our servers were so well informed and recommended a lovely selection of cheeses.Dogs are allowed on the patio!They stock interesting wines, coffee, and food to go as well. Great gifts for the foodie in your life!

Simply the best. Fantastic, friendly service in cafe-style surroundings. Cant wait til summer when I can sit out on the patio, soak in some Rays and drink my favorite wines. Did I say friendly?? Very.

Wonderful little cafe! Christina (our server) was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even bringing us a little water bowl for our pup on the patio and little samples of different beers on tap when we couldnt decide which to order. The food was excellent and I cant wait to come back soon!!

A bright, shining star in residential Rosemont, just outside Old Town. Food is always delicious and the beers generally interesting and very fresh. Dogs are welcome in the outside seating area, which is wonderful.

A playground for the sophisticated palette. Flavors abound in fine wine, coffee, and small plates with giant ambitions. We always bring out-of-town guests to G+B and they are dazzled! Prepare to have a gastronomic orgasm.

Wholesome ingredients crafted into couple but delicious plates. Even the larger dishes are slightly light eats, but they grate and dont really leave you wanting more. Relaxed atmosphere with soft lighting and relatively low noise levels.

Whats not great about this place? Well...the fact that they dont do Espresso kinda saddens me...but everything else is amazing!The food is seasonal and constantly rotating. The draft beers rotate and you can get pretty decently priced growlers from there as well! They also rotate their coffee (drip) and man is it ever some well curated stuff.I miss the BBQ Chicken tho. It was made with a whole-seed mustard BBQ sauce and it was darn tasty!The patio is the best thing about this place. outside in a quiet subdivision area and the road traffic is not that frequent. Foot traffic outpaces the cars on any given day (sans 5pm weekdays). Dogs are always coming and going. Its just a great community spot.The shop is amazing as well. They are very knowledgeable about wine, but also about beer. They have a monthly newsletter they email out about the beer and constantly rotate the bottle selections on the wall. It might not be a huge selection but its well curated as well and they love to talk to you about it.Mostly, the people here. Theyre not staff, theyre neighbors. They are simply amazing and are always personable with you and you just feel the warmth of their smiles. Such an amazing place. I kind of want to work here part time on the weekends!

Had a really good charcuterie board there and craft beers. Nice place to relax. The coffee was really good, but I was disappointed only because I assumed they would have espresso. Great coffee anyways.

This a great place, excellent service, good and calm atmosphere. It is a little pricy; however, I believe it is offset by qualities mentioned above.

Generally we like G+B for their atmosphere, service, lighter fair and wine choices. They also have a lot of stuff frozen or premade to take home. Those options are great for an easy meal at home. While at G+B I had the sweet potato and jalapeno soup and the winter salad. Everything was delicious and delicately flavored. They do have a wide range of beers and beers on tap but I havent tried those yet. Best of all, we came in 5 mins before their kitchen closed and they were very accommodating. The restraurant stays open later for people to enjoy drinks.

Great coffee and the Muscovy duck cheese steak is just as amazing. They made me the cheese steak during the breakfast hours and its on the dinner menu. Its a must stop in Alexandria.
