Every time I come here, the staff are so pleasant and enthusiastic. I’m sure it’s not easy to work at GameStop, or any retail really. But I so appreciate it when staff are knowledgeable and care about what they’re selling. They are great at helping me figure out my coupons and at helping my daughter and I decide what games to get. Was bored and decided to step in and see what I could find and found plenty!This place doesnt only sell video games!Theres also have socks with neat prints on them from different anime and game franchises.They also have shirts, hoodies and hats.I left with a few goodies like a pair of a socks and a DragonBall Super figurine.The figurine I picked out comes in a set which I couldnt find so Bethany was kind enough to help me find out which stores in the area have them in stock!She was a great help and will definitely come back to find more treasures.

I used to come to this store and there was a lady who worked there and was super annoying and rude. I went today because they happened to have a game my son wanted. Kaylee and Richard both made my previous experience null and void. They were amazing. Kaylee gave my sonthe mario 3d world bowsers fury posters he didnt get when we ordered the game online. And Richard helped my husband with finding a Sao game. Thank you for making my experience today much better.

Showed up around 10:15 and store wasnt open. Saw the reviews about them opening late sometimes and went and killed sometime in the plaza. Headed back at 11:00 and store still wasnt opened. Theres another store close by thats much better. Honestly dont waste your time here, drive the extra 9 minutes to the other more reliable store.

Its a Gamestop...decent place to pick up used games or consoles, but I wouldnt trade in. Much more worth it to sell online or to a friend. This location seemed well enough put together. Clean, not too crowded, easy to get in and out of.

I’ve been here 2-3 times since I work close to it and the customer service I received was great. I never go during busy hours so I’ve never had to wait I’m usually in and out.

Customer Service is nice plus the lack of line clogging/waiting is great. The teamwork is involve in this store setting a fast or slow pace if not of busy hours that is for all the impatient people out there

Store is never open on time. The store will open roughly 30 minutes to an hour after posted. So be aware.

The store seems nice and layout is easy to maneuver around, but the reason I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the service. Im not entirely sure if the person I was dealing with was new or something, but it took multiple tries to accomplish my transaction. Clearly this was an issue with the other employee as you could tell he was losing his patience with the employee helping me.Anyways, bottomline its one of the better GameStop locations.

The customer service rep was super helpful. I came to this store looking for a game after having purchased some other items at the location next to the Springfield Mall. The customer rep noticed that with everything I purchased at the other store, I would have qualified for a free Pro Membership. So he returned everything and resold it to me to include the free membership! Ill definitely be coming back.

You buy a game for around $50. You trade it in at game stop. They give you $3. Sounds like a good trade right???? Crickets

The staff is very helpful and friendly and experienced, they will always recommend high quality items and they are happy to do it. The only problem is the trade value is very low for some things.

Had a fully paid preorder sold to someone because I came to pick it up a day after it was available for pickup. I’m tired of how unprofessional these employees are. Seriously just stay home and sleep because that’s pretty much what they do behind the cash register anyways.

This Gamestop is literally why I do not EVER come in! The associate gave a whole speech about her problems, sorry no offense I’m not a therapist or doctor. Secondly, it’s always unorganized and distracted associates on the phone or ignoring those with questions. The store manager or whatever her role is needs to be trained on how to run a store! Obviously this is not it! Go to Springfield they are better and professional.

There not a very good store they wanted to offer me 72 dollars for a brand new 250 xbox one s that was excellent condition but they were sell a refurbished one with a crack on the top for 200! That isnt great business

The interaction is usually good. Most of the people who work there are really nice and helpful. Theres one guy there who is a little less personable and can be a bit snappy. Always save your receipts.

This location is one of the better Gamestops to shop at if youre in the area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and seem to be a great team. The store manager Rasheib has always been able to accommodate my needs as a customer and Ash has always sparked up some of the more interesting gaming conversations that I have had as of late. The parking is very accessible and if they do not have the item you are looking for, they make it an easy process to help you out via their neighboring stores or online inventory.

Not a big gamer though we purchased a PS3 for blue ray purposes. Wr first called to gather information. The guy who answered the phone was everything but professional. When we arrived at the store a female assisted us. Nonetheless we found her very condescending. The wait time was extremely long. Our recollection of the Baileys Crossroads store was much more favorable.

Gamestops are always a hit or miss. They can have a great selection and staff or both can be very lackluster.This store is a rare find as you’ll often find the staff helpful to new gamers and knowledgeable to the experienced. It’s great to talk about deep, meaningful topics with the staff. The topics can range from video games as an imaginative, experiential art to simply the quality of last weeks new releases.This store is colorful, down to earth, and the selection is usually great. However, like all retailers, it is the consumers responsibility to call beforehand to check on inventory.Conclusion: A great selection combined with an engaging and experience staff makes this one of the better Gamestops in the NOVA area.

Worse customer service I ever experienced in my life. I would highly encourage the owners to send their employees to a week of training in customer service. I have never experience such poor professionalism or lack of. The rep at the counter literally couldn’t focus on checking me out as he was being distracted every ten seconds without someone actually distracting him. I literally had to tap on the counter to get his attention to ring up each item. The other clerk was experiencing some kind of nerve pain and literally got down on the floor in the middle of ringing a customer up while we all just had a lesson from her on the pain and why she was suffering from it. I mean it was a complete circus. I wish we had recorded it so we could post on social media. Just wow....

Horrible! I waited 15 minutes in line to purchase one game for my cousin. There were two employees there and the one told me to wait a few minutes because the new employee was being trained. I waited patiently. She told the other two customers after me to wait too. The thing is, she wasnt even helping the trainee!! She was just standing there. Eventually I got checked out. It took longer to check out than find the game.Also, the other day I was there and this employee kept trying to trick my friend into buying another Skylander portal. The thing is, I repeatedly told this employee that my friend has the proper portal and he still wouldnt let it go. So I pulled out my phone and looked it up myself. And guess what? I was right. He still wouldnt believe me even after I showed him. I walked out of the store laughing because he knew he was wrong after I pointed it out and still wouldnt let it go.

Asked for comparison between two versions of the same game. Response was to the effect of: that one has more stuff in it. Ok, great. Bought pre-owned version. Got home. Game disc missing.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a large invatory of games and consoles. The sore is set up nice, and its pretty big unlike some other locations where its small and hard to get arounf The parking lot is huge very easy find parking space.

This is one of the best Gamestops to go! The associates are extremely helpful and friendly! They always give me the best recommendations and always know what they are talking about! They are a Prestige Gamestop for a reason. They are always helpful and the associates are all wonderful each of them helped me and the Store manager and assistant were very professional making sure my needs were fulfilled for a gift! This is the ONLY gamestop I go to and will continue to go where ever they go! Best Gamestop in the area!

Place for all gamer needs

I have payed in full pre-ordered several items from this gamestop location including funko pops, figures, and other gifts for my family. After having the date of pickup backed up three times, I had a shipment come in and was notified, but a day later after receiving the phone call they had already put my items on the floor and sold them. A second time I had received no phone call to alert me my item was in and stopped by to just check on the status(thank god) and found it displayed on the floor. Terrible service, no organization, and no accountability. Worst gamestop ive ever experienced. I usually have no problem at other locations.

My 8 yr old kid loves game stop and so.......I do too, whatever makes him happy makes me smile:)

Good GameStop

I buy used games for my kids and I grabbed a stack of 6 games to buy for Xbox 360 and out of 6 the guy said they didnt have 4 of the games even though the boxes were on the shelf.

They gave me a poster and a phone ring thanks GameStop

They told me to get the f**k out because they thought i was loitering when i was just trying to find the game i wanted and they took 1 hour of my life which ill never get back because they dont know how to use a register! #WT F

Helpful staff, easy trade in.

I went in this store just to peruse for Christmas gift ideas and to see if I would stumble upon a good game or two. Instead I am sitting in my car, pissed off at Gamestop because the store clerk decided he couldnt take no for an answer. He immediately came up upon me invading my personal space pushing their membership on me and trying to seel me a game I already beat and platinumed last gen. He simply couldnt take no for an answer.So now, instead of being able to give my wife some extra gift ideas, I am pissed off. I rarely come this far down into Virginia to shoo, and now this store is anither reason why I wont bother. If Corporate Gamestop is reading this, fire the stubby jackasd that looks like a Peter Jackson wannabe when Peter was filming The Lord of the Rings.

I went inside the store to get Thumbstick Grips for my Xbox 360 controller. I told the only person that was there, I asked him for the 360 grips and he gave me PS4 grips. I told him these are PS4 grips, and he said these are the only ones I have. I was looking for 360 ones that go for $4.99, but those little small PS4 grips cost $7.99. He was persuading me to buy it when I wanted another one, then he reads the back and starts off with Its for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Wii, WiiU And all these other controllers that have different sized thumbsticks and It says PS4 on the Front of the box with the PS4 CONTROLLER. I didnt believe him. He doesnt know what hes selling or hes just scamming me. When I bought it from him to test it out, it didnt fit good. It was too small and it took forever to put it on and I cant take it off my thumbsticks because its stuck. And whenever I play with them grips, it gets slippery real fast and I really hate it and the store for selling me this LIE!!! Dont buy anything from there, IF youre 100% sure its not a scam.

The one by the mall is much better than this one, the employees here are rude and pretty boring. The midnight releases were crazy and the employees were exceptionally rude.

I liked the place its easy to look for what u want but the thing is the employees tht work there were really rude they talk to you on buying stuff u really dont need if u know how to take care of it

Ive been a customer at GameStop ever since 2001 when I first received a Playstation 2 for Christmas and I can say beyond a doubt this store is one of the worst Ive been to. The managers and employees are equally rude and condescending to whoever comes into the store. Not only that they are incredibly pushy about buying all the extra Unnecessary content to parents just looking to buy a game for their kid.

Whoever the white guy is, who was working on Friday, 6/15/2018, around 1-2pm, is rude as hell. I was asking him about the used console deals they currently have, he seemed annoyed when I inquired about a used PS4. THEN when I asked him about their used Xbox Ones, he sighed then said something along the lines of Do you just not like to use your phone?. Seriously? Thats how you treat customers?

The lines at this store are atrocious. Open one line for trade in and one for people who simply want to buy a game.

Location is so old and only one person working there was a super long line and the tv to check the games was broken so they could not check out the system ( get a new tv) !!

I forgot why I dislike Game Stop, they try to constantly up sell, presell and get you to buy protection. It shouldnt take 10 minutes to just pay for a single item. Also, the store looks messy, with many things not in the place and empty hangers.
