Apparently store hours are a joke! They close whenever they feel like to. Online says they will close at 1900 and drove for an hour and ten mins arrived at 1810 to find out they’re close.Prices are high as well knowing they’re the only halal store in the area

Jamala Food is the best place for Halal meats. Really fresh.No need to drive to Baton Rough anymore. I am happy they opened store in Alexandria.

This is the only Middle Eastern grocer in a 100 mile radius from Fort Polk, yet it has barely any reviews. More people need to come and support this business. It’s Palestinian/Family-owned. It’s small, but it has everything I need. I know I’ll be coming here for the rest of my time in Louisiana :) !!
