This has been my go to Liquor store for many years now. Not only do they have the best selection around, they have the most knowledgeable and friendly staff around. Hudson has always been adamant about me having the best experience every single time I go in there. You never see anyone standing around doing nothing. They will seek you out to make sure you have everything you need. If you don’t shop for your alcohol at Hokus Pokus, you need to start. You won’t be disappointed.

This is one of the finest liquor stores I have ever been to. The staff is friendly and professional and the store has a great selection. While there I spoke to a man named Taylor who offered several different selections and was very knowledgeable about the stock. I then spoke to a man named Mike (I think) who had a great deal of knowledge as well. Great staff and selection.

Driving through on my way to my Miller & Bud light drinking relatives and needed to find some decent beer to enjoy while I was there. With that in mind, Google led me here and I wasnt disappointed. Nice selection of craft beers and a friendly knowledgable staff made it possible to enjoy a nice barrel aged stout instead of the national brand B.S typically available in the rural area(Ferriday) that I was headed to. Ill make a point to stop through again whenever I visit my family.

I was traveling through on my way to Mississippi for Thanksgiving and decided to give this place a look see, as I enjoy whisk(e)y and you never know what youre going to find. And I found a great whiskey that hard to find at a more than fair price. Excellent staff and great whisk(e)y selection.

This place is great. Nice selection of standard liquors, beers, wines and some unusual items as well like German Manner creme liquors (which taste like the cookies). The staff was very polite and helpful, even though I dropped in 10 minutes before closing. If youre in Alex or driving through, you should check it out. There arent many nice liquor stores in north or central La, so please support the ones we have!

Items ring up 1 price. I add an item with a different label. That looks similar. And then ALL THE ITEMS ARE MORE EXPENSIVE. place is high priced as it is, Hudson is a under par manager. And maybe a scam artist. Changing prices after my items rang up. Ill never shop here again.

This is actually a pretty good place to buy alcoholic products. Staff is very good and if looking for a cigar, they keep their humidor at the right level keeping their cigars good.

Great selection of liquor, wine, & beer. Plus they have a walk in humidor if you like cigars. They only down side is they are about $3-5 higher then they should be(Ive done a lot of shopping at Specs in Texas so I know the price on what I buy from liquor to cigars)

Excellent variety of of beer, wine, am liquor. Occasionally there are new brewers or distillers who set up a table onside am offer samplers. There placed is kept clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice facility. Staff seemed to be very knowledgable about the alcohol industry. Wish they had a better variety of Angry Orchard though. They only had the normal one. My favorite is Rosé.
