My boyfriend went here to get his prescription a year ago. We called the office this morning to get his prescription records. They kept refusing to give us the records. They KEPT on telling us, to schedule a new appointment. They kept on lying saying the systems were down. The lady was rude and unprofessional. How can you deny someone their personal records? Thatβs illegal!!
Worst experience. Iβve been here multiple times with a better experience. Sad thing, I noticed the attention was different with another client. So I was curious, I walked out with nothing as they generally give a quote sheet and a list of what your getting. My friend goes in and get the red carpet treatment, the same paper I was asking for with βchicken scratch β as she put it. He walked out with to come back and make a decision. Annoyed and frustrated

I ordered glasses in the store. The glasses frame looks good at the beginning. However, after a few weeks, I found the screw color does not match, the screw on the left is black and the right side is stainless. Today I returned to the store and asked for fixing. Craig helped me out. He put my lens on a new glasses frame. It was perfect! I am happy with the service that the store offered! So I am giving 5 star rating!
So generally the experience was good. But my wife ordered her glasses. When she went to pic them up she found out her prescription was done in standard lens. Well no one ask her if she had a choice of 3 different types. My wife has been wearing glasses most of her life and never had this problem before. In other words her prescription does not go all the way across the top of her glasses. I also wear glasses and no ever ask me that question either. So now my wife can see better but only when she is looking Straight. What is that. Thay want anther 170.00 on top of the 375.00 we already paid. Now grant it if she knew that there were choices that would a different story. So they may want to learn how to inform there customers before they take there hard earned money. We wont be going back there anymore and I would not recommend this place to anyone including my enemy.

Had the most pleasant experience with the manager, Alyssa!! They are pretty busy so it does take some time waiting, but itβs all WORTH IT. If youβre in a rush, be prepared to wait if theyβre busy! Alyssa was amazing at helping adjust my glasses and even replaced the nose pads for me. She was so kind and I didnβt even mind waiting for help. She answered all my questions I had about my insurance, and I will definitely be back to this location.
On Saturday 5/30/2020 I visited this location and had a really great experience purchasing my glasses. They explained all of the lense options to me. The best part is that they accept VSP so I was able to get everything I needed on my lenses at an affordable rate including my premium frames. I knew exactly the type of frames I wanted so the entire process was only about 45 minutes. They informed me that it would be about two weeks before my glasses were ready. Well I was shocked, to say the least, when I received a text message and email on Friday 6/5/2020 telling me that my glasses were ready for pickup. I called them immediately and they were able to schedule my appointment for the same day. After work, I went in and was so excited. Perfect fit and friendly service. This was the best experience Ive ever had purchasing glasses and I highly recommend this location. Clean, fast, knowledgeable, and friendly.
This Vision works is the BEST place to get glasses made. They are friendly and oh so patient. Connie the manager has her store running so well. I would never go anywhere else. They actually listen and care if your glasses are perfect. Christine was so knowledgeable and took her time helping me out. Definitely telling all my friends. Thank you.

If I could give negative stars, I would .Their Manager Maria is rude, and a liar. She sold my husband new glasses and told him they will be ready in one week. When he came in to pick them up, they were not ready. Glasses have been delayed 3 times now, and it looked like she forgot to order them. What Maria should have done was made a few phone calls and gotten those glasses overnighted, but she completely ignored us. I guess no one is thinking over there. We will never shop at this Plano store again.
This is my 3rd year coming to Visionworks. They have been fabulous to work with. Joann was so helpful with so many things from solving my painful pads on my nosepiece to patiently helping with my selection of 2 new frames. She even offered to remove the plain lenses so I could have a clearer vision of the frames. They are also tireless helping you keep your eyeglasses adjusted over the course of year and beyond. HD lenses are THE BEST!!!

Bad customer service. The lady made it known that sheβs about to go home at around 6 pm. The store closes at 7pm on Saturday. We came at 547 pm. She seemed so distress during our time in the store. Her actions made it known that sheβs not happy to help us. We left and we decided to give the business to Lens Crafter.
Do NOT buy your glasses from this store. I went in to have adjustments done and have some scratches removed which I was told would be done once during the first year only to be told they would not honor that. The employee that told me that was fired earlier.....however, that does me no good!...I would give them no stars but that is not an option.
The Asian lady that works there made my glasses unsymmetrical and uncomfortable. I asked her if she could do some slight adjustments to my glasses, but before I even spoke to her, she starts to use pliers to adjust the nose part of my glasses even though I specifically did not ask for that part of the glasses to be adjusted because they were in perfect shape before, now they cause irritation to my nose, and I can not put them back to its original position. Very bad service because she was on the phone when I came in, so I had to wait 20 minutes before I could even speak to her.

My wife and I have been going to VisionWorks in Allen, TX for about a year now. The staff is always cheerful, and happy to help. My wife wears contacts, and I wear glasses. They always make sure we get the best deal possible. When we went in this past week, I believe it was Paige who helped us. She immediately greeted us when we walked in the door and made herself available for any questions we had. I called to check if my glasses are ready and the lady asked me to call back in half hour because she alone so I called back in 40 minutes and she said the same thing, I called back in 45 third time and she asked me the same thing Call back in half hour Im alone at the store and very busy so I decided just to drive to the store and when I got her I saw her by her self with only one customer. She took very long time even then to check for my glasses and finally after little frustration she did get them. I have never seen anybody more lousy than the lady here I think Jean or Joan was her name, she is the one with 2 inch nails that type very very slow.

I got my glasses here back in 2012 and I went like 2 years later just to get them readjusted because they had stretched over time and when I walked out I noticed that the lenses had stretch marks that ran up and down through the lens. I went back and they said that they were already like that. They didnt want to replace them or take responsibility for it. I asked to speak to a manager and they werent there. I was very upset because how in the world are they going to tell me how my glasses were before I originally went if I look through them every single day? I would recommend you show them your glasses before taking them to get adjusted here so if they damage them they can take responsibility.
The teenage girls were very poor salesmen. Kept telling me to come back. They knew nothing about the products. Very disappointed. Hire knowledgeable older people who can relate. Not 18 yr olds to run the store

Store desperately needs more employees. Ive gone in 4 times and had to walk out without getting helped because the wait was going to be 20+ minutes.
Went there to get my glasses and contacts back in December. The staff was friendly and helpful the first time I went in to pick out my frames. When inputting my insurance info, the older woman helping me typed incredibly slow because she had incredibly long acrylic nails. If you get your nails done, that is one thing. But if you get your nails done and theyre an inch long and prevent you from typing more than 3 words per minute, you need to find a new job that doesnt require typing. It should not have taken 25 minutes to put in my information... but it did. If you have seen that episode of Family Guy where Peter has acrylic nails and is trying to type in his office, think that. Its a little unprofessional looking and offputting to see a 60 year old white lady with 1-1.5 inch acrylic nails struggling to type.Due to the holidays, it would take a little longer for my prescription to get in. So they said theyd call me after Christmas once the glasses were ready, but it would probably only be 2 or 3 days after Christmas. I waited a week after Christmas... nearly 9 days after my original day I came in. No phone call. So I finally called to check if they had gotten my prescription. They said they did. I decided to run in really quick before work. The place was packed with people. I walked up to the front desk and the manager asked how she could help me. I said I just needed to pick up my glasses and contacts. She said someone would be with me shortly. So, since there was no seating, I just stood off to the side. 15 minutes later, no one came to help me, so the manager walked up to me and asked what my name was. I told her. She disappeared into the back and came out with glasses. Fantastic. But where were my contacts? I asked her if the contacts were ready and she disappeared again to check. She came back out and said they werent in yet due to the holidays. Okay... not a problem. So I try on my glasses and, it had been several years since I had gotten a new pair. So my vision was very very blurry. It seemed almost too blurry. So I told her it seemed too blurry from what I remember. And she said well YEAH. You got new glasses. Theyll be fine in an hour or 2. A little blunt with wording, but I understood. So I mentioned that everything seemed okay, but the part that goes behind your ear was a little tight and digging into my skin. She took them from me. Didnt say anything. She just took them. And she bent them a little and handed them back and told me to try it now. I did. Better, but not perfect. By then, I was running late to work and didnt want to cause any more trouble, so I decided to deal with it to see how it would go. I asked her if the store would call me once the contacts got in, or if I should call because I wasnt contacted when my glasses were ready. She said theyd call and probably didnt contact me about my glasses because they were waiting on my contacts as well before they reached out to me. No problem. Whatever.My glasses were still blurry... even after 4 hours. Even after 8 hours. It was almost unbearable. I dealt with it and the headache from the blurriness all day at work. Finally, the next day my eyes adjusted to the glasses enough to stop being so blurry and giving me a headache. The frame that goes behind your ear was still too tight. One side was fine, the other was bent too far in and dug into my ear causing excruciating pain. I bent it the best I could and got it to a point where it stopped digging into my ear. A week later and I still hadnt gotten a call for my contacts. So I tried calling the store. No answer. Tried calling back later and the receptionist picked up. She put me on hold to check for them and found them. So I went to pick up my contacts... 2 weeks after I had gone into the store the first time.I am a very easygoing person. I work in the hospitality industry and have patience because I know how it can be and dont want to be a rude customer. But this store needs to work on their customer interactions.

I and my family have been buying glasses at VisionWorks for many years. I bought a premium pair of Nike glasses in December and noticed recently that the lenses seemed fogged up all the time no matter how I cleaned them. I brought them into the store and was told that I would have to buy insurance since they were scratched. This is the first pair of transition lenses Ive owned and will be the last. This is apparently a film applied that peels off. Store management was rude and unwilling to discuss. She said either pay or I could leave. I paid $60 for insurance but this will be the last $60 from my family of 5.
To choose and purchase my glasses was well taken care of by the salesperson. To pick up my glasses and have them adjusted was horrible. I will not recommend or ever return to that store. Extremely disappointed in the salaesperson! I was sent home with my glasses crooked on me!

Went there a couple weeks ago; confirmed with the employee if they had my lenses available to be made or in stock since we were going to Europe. Read not only one but β2β prescriptions over the phone, to see if they had the lenses and she confirmed!!!!! Later I drove 25 min to get there and βSorry you have to wait a 4-5 days to get your lenses!!!!
