From the outside its a plain looking row home in Allentown. Going inside you enter a wonderful comic escape. The owner Ty was a pleasure to talk with and lead to us spending more time than planned in a good way. Looking forward to many more visits.

Love this place. Ive been 3 times sp far in the past year and they have so many comics, its a bit overwhelming at first but its such a great store. Highly recommend it for any comic book fan or even non comic book fan just to see the culture. Who knows you may even buy a few comics.

Great corner store. You get a mom and pop feel. Good amount of stuff and the employee was very nice.

I felt a bit of nostalgia walking back in this store. I remember going there as a kid after school. The owner back then was nice,and the new owner is just as nice! I was looking for a comic in particular, and he was more than helpful in finding what I was looking for! I will definitely go back!

Its a nice place with very nice selection of comics, posters, collectables, etc. The reason why I give it 4 stars however is the fact that they cost more, but its usually worth the price.

Another version of beach head another selfish jerk owner. With so many good comic stores locally it would be a BAD IDEA to go to this lousy one.

I been going here for a while and im more of a casual collecter getting what i like, really friendly here and will explain things and help you with finding what your looking for and what you might likeif your not sure.

Chill spot. Im not nearly even an amateur collector but it seemed to have a good variety from what I saw. New stuff, old stuff and everything well managed.

The location has changed to the corner of,West Chew St. and North Madison St.It’s between 13th and 14th Street on West Chew.Now on the Store, on the new location,Helpful staff, nice clean environment,Selection isn’t the most extensive,Not that they didn’t always have what I was looking for but a few times I did go to other comic book stores in the area because I couldn’t wait for up to 2 weeks.Now I would go back, like I said the feel of the environment is the best around.For Comic Club Members of the store they will order and pull you the comics you ask them to. But to earn a discount is available but there is other stores with better deals.Hope my review was helpful, best not to take my word for it and build your own personal experience, that’s what I recommend.

Wow! Awesome selection, and I love the layout. Everything is easy to find and staff arent afraid to say hi to the customers. I found everything I was looking for and more. The gentleman working answered every question I asked and was very knowledgeable. Easily in my top for comic book stores in the Valley

Cool comic shop! Very welcoming and friendly staff. The sitting area is a nice addition to any comic shop. They not only have comics but vintage posters/ collectable cards, action figures, Funko pops, jewelry, and t-shirts!! Definitely Worth checking out!

Nothing but weed smell

This store was official. The owner was really helpful. I didnt know what books to get for my Bro who was in the hospital. He picked out a good one for me that my Bro actually liked. I was also able to pick up 3 classic Uncanny X-Men that I hadnt seen since I was a teenager. Check these guys out if your a comic book fan. I highly recommend this shop.

I was very happy to see Beachhead Comics back in business. They have a ton of comics. The top bins are just the creme on the top. They have some hard to find comics in the lower bins but you need to be willing to spend some time and look through them. Guy running the shop that day I visited was very helpful and even got me a folding table to help look through the boxes.

They do not have dollar bins BUT if something is unmarked it is cover price! I had the best finds of my hunting career here. Filled up many long boxes of cover price silver and Bronze Age books. The owner Ty is very kind and welcoming. Some of the marked prices are a little high but they have an amazing selection. Their stock has probably been a a bit picked through at this point but still a must stop! 5/5

Solid assortment

The place smells like the guy has been smoking in it for 25 years (and he has). I went in excited about the Valiant relaunch and all he had to say was that it was a dumb idea in a bad economy and that none of his customers thought it would succeed. I dont want to knock someone for giving an honest opinion -- but the guys bedside manner is a little um, rough.

This is quite possibly the best comic shop that I have ever been in. Not only is it vast and extensive, the man that runs the place is an expert. It is a warm and friendly environment with a nostalgic appeal. I recommend this place to anyone whenever the subject of comicbook shops comes up.

Gentleman behind the counter was very nice. The shop was well a comic shop every thing you could hope for in a quaint little part of town. I would go again
