First time getting my car fixed at this place, but 10/10 would go back and would recommend to friends and family to have their cars serviced here.I had an clicking noise coming from under the hood, went in in a slow afternoon to try to get a quote on how much it would cost to fix, they lifted my car and had a detailed look and were able to pointed out where the noise was coming from and which part needed to be replaced to fix it. They even showed it to me so I know exactly what the issue was too.A fair estimate for the repair was provided, and they didnt charge me for any diagnose fee. I made an appointment the next day and went in for the repair, it was done in the promised time and of course the noise issue was fixed! They even saved the broken piece for me to clearly see why it was making the noise!And just like many people had already mentioned, both Stephanie and Jeremy were very friendly and nice! 10/10 recommend this place to get your car serviced!

I called to set up an appointment and went to my appointment that was confirmed. I needed my check engine light codes to be reviewed and my car was not feeling right. After driving 45 minutes from Austell to Alpharetta, I left my car and paid for a Lyft to wait for my services to be done and they called me an hour later to say they couldnt work on my car because they were booked. All I needed was them to diagnose the codes I was getting and what to do. No one called me ahead of time or even when I called to let them know I was behind schedule to let me know they were booked. I am not a sensitive woman, but I felt dismissed and not considered as important enough to AT LEAST do that for me if they couldnt work on it. They did NOTHING! Women already get dismissed in the Automotive industry and I try to be as knowledgeable as possible so Mechanics dont feel Im wasting their time with mediocrity but it doesnt matter. 5 days later my car is not turning over and I m trying to find someone in my area that services Audis.. In a single mom. No boyfriend, no Husband to advocate FOR ME! Im doing it myself. I dont have any male friends that can help me other than friends Husbands. All I wish in this industry is that they LISTEN and treat Us as EQUALS as a PAYING CUSTOMER!.

Went in for a repair on the 4 wheel drive. After a quick diagnostic the needed repair was found. I received a call to come to the shop to verify the needed repair. They had also found that the entire emission system and cats had been removed illegally. I was able to return the truck to the dealer and saved me over 16,000 in repairs. Good day, I have been coming into this fine shop over ten years now, with several different vehicles that I have owned. The staff, especially Stephanie and Jeremy, are knowledgeable and concerned about cars in general, and you can tell when you arrive that they see your vehicle as valuable as the customers do. I had work done today to finish up previous repair, and it was finished in minutes, no questions asked, and I was able to complete some work in their waiting room, comfortable and stacked with snacks, refreshments and latest reading materials. I always feel like I learn more about overall car care when I visit, and never, ever have that feeling that happens at some other places where they are going to discover some hidden problem to blow your repair bill beyond your senses. I rate them five stars on every aspect of car service, and also note that I see old cars, antiques, trucks, and the finest luxury new cars in there, all receiving detailed expert attention. The oil change is even a winner, so I have them check my vehicles whenever I am about to take a long journey, at least five times a year in this case. Do yourself a favor from Model T to Range Rover, cruise by Main Street Auto, they get the A+ from an amateur car doctor like me.

Moved from Canada to Alpharetta and finding a new mechanic was a bit of a nerve-wracking ordeal. You want to trust your mechanic and that is exactly what we found with Mainstreet Automotives! Not only do they give you options when fixing your car, their prices are extremely reasonable and their work is top notch. They have gone above and beyond on 2 occasions and we cant thank Leo and team enough. Highly recommend if looking for a new mechanic.

Fantastic customer service! I went in there on a Saturday afternoon with an issue that’s been looked at by multiple mechanics and they’ve all given me a different answer. The guys at mainstreet were able to look at my car and get it fixed in less than 20 minutes. I am so happy the issue is resolved and it only cost me $20, while the dealership wanted to charge me nearly $200. This place will be my designated auto repair. They’ve earned my trust.

I took my 2011 Explorer in for the transfer case to be replaced. It is an expensive part that wouldnt be cheap on labor. I expected the expensive bill but what I got extra was a full vehicle report and my newer tires were rotated to the front where they should have been. (The tire shop forgot to do it.) The communication was excellent and all the guys that work there were nice and courteous. I will be going there for all my car needs. Thanks Jeremy!

My car would lock up once in a while when I went from a stop to a go. This was a rare issue so it was difficult to replicate and demonstrate. The people at Main Street Automotives took it on Four separate test drives until they experienced the issue that other auto body shops couldn’t diagnose. They fixed it for a great price and I haven’t had issues since. Great service! Fully recommend if you’re in the Alpharetta area.

Stephanie in the office could not be kinder. The mechanics must but complete idiots because it took them 6+ hours to change 2 headlights. Thanks to Stephanie, the customer service was great. Unfortunately, the overall experience was horrible and would strongly NOT recommend.

Went here to get a headlight replaced, asked multiple times how much it would be before they did the work since I brought the parts. They didn’t give me a straight answer and kept trying to charge me for other things I didn’t come for. When they finally told me how much (not cheap) for JUST putting in the headlight I told them I wanted my parts back that I provided because it was too much and they told me it was too late and the work was already done. They also charged me to replace a cable without me agreeing to it. Not a good experience, would not come back here again. Did not seem honest.

5+ ....First, the owner is so Knowledgeable. My ex had a master cylinder replaced and the brakes were not working right (given to my 16 yr old to drive). The guys spent about an hour checking it and even added a tiny plate the person had left off at no charge. Finally, the owner said I really cant confidently tell you what the problem is 100%, so he suggested I go to the dealership and have them run a diagnostic. No one I had talked to or taken the car to had suggested this, I did take it to the dealer, and it turned out there was a Recall on the brakes. The hydraulic system was repaired ($3000 - at no cost due to recall). Mainstreet could have just charged me for a temporarily fix or given me a huge bill for repairs and taken my money ... but instead he was honest! I so appreciate his forthcoming, his advice, his experience in the car industry and the friendliness of him and his staff! I came back to them to have an axel put on another car after this. They did an amazing job and charged a reasonable price, and again made me like they cared about me as a single mom with kids -- looking out for me. I trust MainStreet, and highly recommend you go here for any auto repairs. Thank you!! Larson

Under new management and still the best auto repair shop in metro Atlanta. I drive all the way from Douglasville to Main Street for service on my primary vehicle. They have saved me from making costly mistakes by doing honest, thorough pre-purchase inspections on used vehicles that drove ok, but had dangerous hidden issues under the hood. When they give a car their thumbs up, I know it’s a good deal.

Have been to this place a few times with two different cars. They have been honest and thorough. Didnt charge for an adjustment to brakes that was done poorly at a dealership. I send my friends here.// I am adding to my earlier review. I have had some mixed experiences over the past year. They gave me the runaround on a part order that took weeks and 4 phone calls for me trying to get a straight answer out of them before giving up, they put the wrong motor oil in during and oil change and then told me it was for my own good, most recently a heat shield came loose after they changed a belt. Nothing major, but certainly noticeably below the quality of service I had experienced previously.

I recently moved here and have tried out most of the auto shops in the area- Main Street Auto is the best place in my opinion.MSA is exceptional, especially Evan. I took my Jeep in to get a tail light replaced, and Evan was super helpful from the jump. He gave me an estimate over the phone, they took care of it as soon as I got there, the waiting room was very nice, my car was fixed in about 10 minutes and the price was very fair.When it was time to pay, I discovered that my girlfriend had forgotten to return my debit card to my wallet when she took it to pick up hibachi for us last night. In cash, I was a handful of dollars short of the price of the service, so I offered to stay there while my girlfriend Uberd home to get the card and Uberd back (which would have cost me like 3x the price of the car service in the first place). Thankfully, Evan was super accommodating and understanding of the situation, told me stuff happens, and helped me resolve it. God bless them. Definitely coming here in the future

They have changed since the partner left! Terrible customer service from Jeremy who consistently points the blame on others while failing to take responsibility for the what they did wrong! I trusted him and took him at his word and after $3000 later, still issues relating to what they neglected to do! Kept car for three days and no repairs! You won’t see another dime from us! Lawsuit already proceeding. He selects certain customers to cater to. Unfair and a manipulator!
