Had the pizza for lunch and it was terrific! For dessert had a raspberry cheesecake truffle and took home a mini cannoli. YUM! You will love this place.

Fantastic service. Pizza was nearly perfect; a thin crispy crust and generous toppings. I personally prefer a little more sauce. Desserts were outstanding as always with a massive selection.

Absolutely fantastic!!! I wanted a custom cake for my son’s 20th birthday and Alpine Bakery went above and beyond my expectations! I submitted a couple of photos of what I wanted, and within 24 hours, they had reached out to me confirming they could make my cake dreams come true! I love Alpine Bakery!

Loads of varieties to choose from. Chocolate raspberry wedge was too good. Cant stop thinking about it.Their pizza by the slice is Grub - yummy satisfying- too good.Truffles looked gorgeous.Oh, they were happy to add few Cannolis in our bag when we mentioned there is a birthday boy with us that day. So excited for Alpine Bakery to have finally re-opened. The bakery is still top notch and arguably one of the best selections and quality in metro Atlanta. The pizza on the other hand is still a major disappointment. We ordered sausage and mushroom pizza and it was undercooked, and had way too much cheese which made it very soggy. Pizza has to have a charred under carriage and the crust needs to be crispy. Being overly generous with cheese doesnt make a good pizza; its all about the balance of sauce and cheese with a firmer crust. Im concerned that the restaurant wont survive with serving such low quality pizza. Ill still come for the bakery though which is fantastic.

My diet wished I never met this place. So good are the pastries / dessert. 100% a recommendation if you are not watching the lbs

This place is already awesome for cakes, tortes, and desserts, but after the remodel, it does everything superbly. The stromboli was perfectly baked and not too soggy, the meatball parm sub was phenomenal, and the coffee drinks were delicious. We love getting our special event cakes here, but now were gonna bring a little extra for some tasty lunch, and you should too.

Sweet delights and well lets ignore the calories and savour the delicious German chocolate cup cake, or the Pecan pie.

So many amazing pastry options. I would eat literally everything there but especially love the lemon meringue tart and the tiramisu cake!

I’ve not tried the food so this review is only for dessert. I love this place every time I go there. This is a bit too far for me but whenever I get a chance to be close by, I make sure to stop here. I absolutely adore their cake selections. I usually get either death by chocolate or tiramisu. Neither ever fail to disappoint me. The ads is amazing and they try very hard to cater to all your needs.

This place has so many options! Everything looks so good! It was hard to make a decision but we finally settled on some cheesecake bars and a snickers cannoli. The cannoli was my favorite thing we got. They also have coffee and pizza and subs and stuff. This is definitely a great place to go for dessert

Lots of dessert items!! I tried the raspberry chocolate cake and death by chocolate. Both were delicious. They also had a lots of other cakes, cupcakes, cookies & other pastries! They looked delicious too. It seemed like a nice restaurant which serves a lots of desserts, coffees, frappes & some food!

Not sure how this got bad reviews unless the service wasn’t exemplary....I’ll preface this by saying I’m not Italian but have been enjoying Italian food all my life. This place makes the best desserts and my favorite cannoli’s. Whenever I think of getting a nice dessert for a special occasion or just random sweet craving, I think of Alpine. A little pricey but worth it. Yum!

When it comes to dessert we tried the a couple of truffles as well as the choc chip cookie and an espresso cookie. The Oreo and Pb truffles as well as the espresso cookies were overly sweet. The chocolate chip cookie needed more flavor and chocolate for sure. We were a little disappointed giving the fact we have been looking to visit this place for a while.They did have some awesome looking pieces of cake, cheesecake, and pies which were roughly $10 each. Quite a bit for a dessert, although portions are huge but unless you have 4 people willing to share is just too much. Wish portions were smaller, they would probably sell more.

Highly impressed! I drove 30 minutes from Dunwoody to come check out this bakery. Theyre having a half price slice each Sunday for the next few weeks, so I figured itd be a great time to stop in. They have a bakery section and a dining room. The place itself is rather dark, leading towards more of a relaxing atmosphere.The desserts look (and smell) so, so good. I got three slices of cake: Chocolate, Red Velvet, and Oreo. All of which knocked them out of the park. They are so moist and delicious. Without the deal, theyre about $9 each. With the discount on Sundays, the slices are about $4.50 each, incl tax. The slices are HUGE, so the discount definitely makes you get your moneys worth. Without the discount, they have smaller versions of the same slices for about $4-5, which are a little bit more reasonable. This bakery has everything you could ever want, cookies, pies, cheesecakes, cakes, parfaits, and more. I will definitely be back next week to try new sweets.The staff was so friendly and inviting, they were incredibly helpful in picking out the best choices. Like I said, Ill definitely be back next week!

Ok, so I was skeptical because I think the Italian bakery food can be dry. My goodness I was wrong. They have amazing treats for everyone. The mint chocolate cookies are to die for. The cake slices are huge and the detail they put into decorating their cakes is magical. If you are a sweet person this is a must go to!

So as you have read in the reviews there is a lot of mixed results on the quality here.I have been coming here for 10 years or more. Pizza used to be amazing and now its only ok.I ordered the spaghetti and meat balls recently with a Caesar salad and was very disappointed. The cannoli I had for dessert was amazing.We went to order pastries. The chocolate cheesecake bar is ridiculously good and so are the butter cookies.You simply have to accept that the bakery is better than the trattoria. I would give the trattoria a 2 star and the bakery a 4 star so I left a 3 star average.The cupcakes are also good but are like 5.45 eachI would still definitely come to the bakery.

While I sure do miss being able to sit inside and have the full experience of Alpine Bakery, Im so glad theyre still in business! This place is no joke. If you want the best cakes and deserts in town, look no further. Their selecttion is huge and varies by sizes and tastes. Perfect for parties or gifts. Their food is nothing to scoff at either. We typically enjoy our experience at Alpine. This evening we ordered a couple of cupcakes (German Chocolate and Oreo), coconut cake, and two cookies. The Oreo cupcake was soft and delicious, as expected. The German Chocolate was not as I remembered it. The nuts didn’t taste fresh (almost like a peanut, instead of a walnut) and there was less coconut Creme in the center. It tasted like a peanut chocolate mousse cupcake. When I phoned the restaurant to inform them, the manager treated me as though I didn’t know what I’d ordered, and rushed me off the phone. The most disappointing part of our experience this evening is the lack of customer service from the manager. We will not be returning anytime soon.

Popped up there on my birthday to drink some coffee with desserts. This place is really stylish, and the cakes are very tasty but oh my, how smelly it is! It was like someone had been cleaning the whole place with the same dirty rag for several days. After staying for several minutes in the queue, I still felt this stench. Still, gave cakes a chance and took some to go. I give two stars because the cakes were really tasty, except for the cupcake that caused us a bit of indigestion.But I highly recommend chocolate cheesecake bar and chocolate raspberry cake; they are superb.

My wife and I LOVE alpine! We have been going to the Alpharetta location for years. ALWAYS great service, great food, and great sweets from the bakery. I proposed here with a little help from the staff. Alpine also made our wedding cake, and it was the most delicious wedding cake ever! Thank you Alpine for being so good at what you do. Youre definitely an important part of our lives!

No longer has seating and dining in. Pizzas, calzones take out. But... they still have their bakery. Cakes, pies, cookies, pastries, and so on. Very big selection and yummy. Order in advance or walk in.

German chocolate cake to die for!!!

Our go to for Italian pastry. I like the sfogliatelle but my dad said it was a little soggy. I get it every time. The cannoli is ok when the pastry is covered on both sides in chocolate. Otherwise soggy. My wife loves the cream puffs. Dinner there is always good. I like their eggplant Parma with hard boiled egg. A little expensive but good enough to keep me coming back.

Pizza is outstanding! One of my only preferred pizza venues for takeout. Their deserts look absolutely amazing but I’ve never tasted any that were worth getting a second time. Generally unimpressive. The chocolate espresso cookies are the only desert I’d suggest.

Best cannoli I have found in metro Atlanta (and I have tried many), it would give Mikes or Modern from Bostons North End a run for their money. My husband also compares their rainbow cookies to his favorite bakery in NY. Cakes and truffles are also amazing. Amazing customer service!

Bought a dark chocolate raspberry torte for my mom and dad for their anniversary and it was DELICIOUS! the girl who took my order helped me out by offering to write happy anniversary on the cake and it was exactly what I wanted. 10 out of 10

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday due to the reviews and it’s impressive reputation. The presentation of the restaurant and baked items was beautiful. I ordered and tried 3 cupcakes (Red Velvet, Oreo, Chocolate Mouse) I was disappointed, the cake part of the cupcake was dry and tasteless. I was expecting a moist cake and more of a homemade taste - considering real natural ingredients are used according to the website. Cake texture was closer to corn bread. I had a black and white cookie too. The cookie was good.

I ordered the assorted cheesecake for a party. They were VERY rich and delicious. It was a great way to cap the night off with some dessert.I remember the taste of the original and the raspberry and white mocha very well!

Somehow I like their cake very much

It was our first time here, and we came for the desserts. The amount of variety was almost overwhelming! We ended up choosing the raspberry chocolate and the peanut butter chocolate cakes. They were so moist and delicious! We will definitely be coming back again!

Best dessert in town! Get ya self a ravioli while you are in, stop for a macaroon or a lovely thick slice of Strawberry Swiss roll cake on the way out. Good all around, reminds me of growing up in southern Italy

Italian bistro in old Milton area. Upscale interior. Staff is very attentive. Food is above average for Italian but nothing crave worthy. The highlight of the meal was by far dessert. We tried 4 different desserts and each one was as delicious as the last. Highly recommend for a delicious treat!!

Tonight we went in just for dessert. Ive had the truffle cheesecake balls in the past and they are amazing! We ventured out a bit tonight and tried some of the cookies and coconut cake. Pretty decent, but certainly not the best Ive had. Service could have been a bit more on point, but overall Id say a B+. In short, if youre in that area then pop in. If not, I wouldnt go out of my way.

Wonderful food; excellent service. Largest array of desserts, all mouthwatering. The Cobb Salad was huge and beautifully prepared; delicious meatball hero with parmesan fries - perfect! I took away one star because the background music was so loud that we couldnt hear each other speak. Asked waitstaff to PLEASE lower it three times. They said they would but it still blasted us almost out of our seats during the entire meal. But everything else was WONDERFUL!
