Located right next to the Apple Store and as the only real place to get coffee in the mall the Barnes and Noble Cafe is always rather busy. However, it comes with quick and quality service, a good selection, and a mobile app (Barnes and Noble Cafe app NOT Starbucks) for those with limited time on their hands. The store itself is large with a wide selection, especially in terms of manga and general fiction. With cash registers at both ends of the store there is never much of a wait in line to check out. Great place for pretty much all of your book, music, and cafe needs.

Awesome selection, friendly staff, great escape if you need to dive into books to help escape reality. In all seriousness its a fantastic store.

Good location in the mall. Clean parking lot but always packed. Bookstore is very clean and well maintained with sparkling bathrooms, a feat for how busy the place is. Well stocked and excellent customer service, one of the best Barnes & Nobles I have been to.

Was walking through to get to another store found a lot of Harry Potter stuff love all the different stuff they have

Barnes and Noble has been a book staple for years. While we enjoy frequenting the smaller mom and pop stores in the area, its still nice to visit the larger stores that may have things the smaller shops dont. Atmosphere is nice and the staff is helpful.

The store has an incredibly organized variety of books and gift items curated for book lovers. There is even Starbucks inside the store. A very convenient location with the entrance next to the driveway. Helpful staff members!

Nice book store !!! Very well laid out, pricing and selection is very very good!! They have a Starbucks inside which is nice as well as places to sit and read the book you just bought. If they don’t have what your looking for they will order it for you !! It’s a good place to go shopping if your in the market for some knowledge. They also carry vinyl records. All in all a nice bookstore!!! If your in the Altamonte mall stop in and check it out!!

The coffee bar was great. Plus a really nice place to relax and browse the books.

Place was clean and nice. Lady who was my cashier had bad customer service, she got frustrated at me for putting my card in too soon and tried to cover it up. Not the best costumer service overall

I had a pleasant visit at thia location. It wasnt super busy, it was clean and the staff was friendly. I found the notepads that I was looking for and grabbed a refresher at the Starbucks thats located inside of the store.

I love this barns and noble. It is probably one of the biggest ones Ive been in all the employees are very helpful and make great book suggestions.

Found a book for a friend and my daughter found a book based on her favorite Disney villain. $15 for both items. That the cheapest we ever spent in a book store lol.

Took my kids in for some new books. God save the bookstore. I will never enjoy buying books online. A woman on staff was so helpful finding my 12 year old a new manga book, which is great since I know literally nothing about it. Please never close this location, its all we have. My kids love going. They get so excited and could stay for hours, just like me. Hooray for books!

I do truly enjoy the book store. The smell of paper, and ink will never be replicated digitally, not to mention the fact that batteries dont die on books. I pray that bookstores never die off in the way of the record store.

I had a difficult time finding any of the books I was looking for. There seems to be a very small selection of romance books available (not YA). There used to be an entire section of romance books, along with SciFi, Mystery, YA, etc... but it seems to have been erased. The general fiction does not incorporate all the other books that were available before. Disappointing.

Some Video game guides with 200 pages+, a lot of cooking recipes books, floral,flower and landscaping related books. Vast collection of Lego toys

Clean and organized! Everyone was always making sure if I needed any help.

I love the layout. I have a four year old and it was very comfortable to maneuver around because it wasnt crowded. Plus the covid policy was in effect. My daughter loves the kids section.

Its so nice and refreshing to see an actual book store these days! In a world plagued by online shopping, it was wonderful to be surrounded by books with paper pages you can thumb through. Clean, with hand sanitizer stations nicely displayed at the entrance, exit, and throughout the store.

Barnes and Noble is a pretty great store. I get to find books that I would never read if I looked it up on Amazon. The only reason why I’m giving it four stars is because they’re always missing books. But, besides that really great book selection!

We love Barnes and Noble! From books to videos to coffee. They even had a hard to find folder on palm trees. Be sure to become a member. It pays for itself pretty eadily.

Good selection and variety of books. There was no one at the front register when we went to check out as was the case out on the store floor, so for any questions you had and to check out you needed to go to the back and if there was a line you had to wait in line in order to ask a simple question.

Having a Starbucks in the store and having very friendly staff is a great combination!

Ok selection for a mall Barnes and noble. Although the books are pretty randomly organized (within the categories). They arent in ABC order, or in any order that I could tell.

We enjoy all B&N bookstores. My husband wishes they would expand their science and neuroscience sections.

They have a great selection of music books and magazines and a nice little coffee shop right in the middle if youre hungry or thirsty.

Still a great bookstore. Variety of all kinds. Found the books I was looking for. I like being able to browse thru and find books I may not of looked at on line... In person is much better. Only complaint.. there was no cashier! It took 6 minutes for her to check to see if anyone was waiting. I do understand that there are fewer associates and that they are multitasking, but maybe her duties should be in view of the checkout.

I was disappointed in the store. It was not easy to navigate in. It was like walking through a maze. I didnt like not having egress from the stacks.

Great bookstore and even has a little coffee shop in it. Good place to browse and get an idea of what your next book might be. Also, if you still own a DVD or CD player or want to take your kids into a history museum, they have a Music and DVD section.

Giant bookstore with tons of stuff and sections to go through, as well as music, games, and technology reading devices. There is a café in-store also. However, if you go in and need to locate a specific book, you are on your own. Staff is lacking other thank café person and two people at the register. Store is clean and has a quiet and calm atmosphere.

Worst Starbucks treatment ever, the barista really hate her job and is taking it out on everyone else. Extremely rude. Thats just unprofessional, no one should be forced to work a job they hate.
