These guys do awesome work! Very friendly and knowledgeable service writers and a great crew of technicians that get your vehicle back on the road in a timely manner. This shop is my go to for all my vehicles maintenance and they have never let me down. Never have to worry about spending too much on tires as they will price match and sometimes even beat the competition on pricing.

Brought in brand new wheels and tires to get mounted and balanced. Two 275/35/R18 (rear tires) and two 245/30/r18 (front tires). Along with two 18x9.5 wheels for the rear and two 18x8.5 wheels for the front. When I dropped them off, I made it clear that it was a staggered setup and to make sure they match the wider tires to the wider wheels. Well, when I got the car back, there was a vibration in the steering wheel, thinking they weren’t balanced right, I took them back and they said they rebalanced them and that their machine was uncalibrated the last time. Vibration is still there, months pass and multiple visits to different tire shops, a buddy of mine and I took the wheels up to ranken to just do it ourselves, turns out NTB didn’t put the right tires on the right wheels. Not sure how this could happen(wheels and tires were labeled) but a tire shop that can’t properly mount wheels doesnt deserve business.

Got in the door at 6pm, the internet said they close at 7pm 10/27. There was a customer in front of me and I waited politely. I approached the service member Tim, and asked if I could have a tire plugged (which takes 5 minutes) and he said that they were closed and that I couldnt be provided service. Seriously thats ridiculous and Im never going back to NTB.

I had an appointment, but work didnt begin until almost an hr later. It took over 2.5hrs for new tires & an oil change. The appointment was made over a week ago, but the oil filter had to be delivered - by a parts runner-type individual, Im guessing.The flip side of the whole experience is that the people were great, and Im quite happy with the new tires... And I will *gladly* go back there again. Ill probably just make arrangements next time for someone to pick me up & go shopping or to lunch, rather than wait.

Went to 3 different places and nobody would even schedule me for a tire alignment. I come here and get told my tires are so bad they can’t align unless I have new tires (which I planned on) when they figured out they weren’t carrying my type the man behind the desk went as far as calling his coworkers cell phone so they wouldn’t have to put me and my children back in an unsafe vehicle. Unlike the other places I called that wanted to schedule me a week out, or wanted to tell me they would get my tires and never call. This is the absolute best service and there was a real concern for the safety of my kids. Which is of top importance to me. I will absolutely tell everyone to get their tire work done here.

Appt was at 1030 am and its now 340 pm and we are still here...every time we would look out the window to see what was going on NOBODY was working on are vehicle...very disappointing and dissatisfied the man at the counter was really nice doing all he could to keep me calm about waiting soooo long but again Im still here 🤷‍♀️

I made an appointment two days prior to my arrival when I showed up for the appointment they informed me they didn’t have the tires that they quoted me and I would have to pay more and wait for three hours for the tires to show up. I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of like a bait and switch.

Terrible experience. Customer service was horrid to be polite. 3 days to get new tires put on after making an appointment the week prior. And they broke the air pressure sensors on one of my wheels. Follow up...I spoke with Manager on the telephone and he was going to review video and get back to me. 2 weeks no return call. Calls to the company were just as productive.

Sent my cousin in to get his 265/75/r16 tires pulled off his current rims to be put on a different set of 16 rims, and they lied to him and said they wouldnt fit. I find it interesting considering they had no problem putting 285/75/r16 on the EXACT SAME set of rims for me. They tried to take advantage of his lack of knowledge to sell him a set of new tires he didnt need. Lets see there face when I mount them my self and drive it back up there. Dont waste your time or money on this place.

Took five hours to put tires on my wife’s car. Left white residue and sticker pieces all over tires. You’d think for 700$ and half a work day they could put tires on and wipe the goo off they put on them.

The guys at NTB are always quick with their diagnosis, and if its something they cant do, they let you know and dont waste your money. I buy all my tires here, and have never had a problem.

Can’t recommend the Alton location. Made an appointment 8 Days ago to have 4 tires put and a front end alignment. I have been here 2:40 minutes still not done.

I was very please with the greeting and expedited service I received. I arrived for my 2pm Wheel Alignment appointment, the service manager checked me in promptly, the service tech came out within 2 mins to pull me in. I was out in about 35-45 minutes! Wow! Ive never experienced under an hour service at any other NTB in the area; and it was done right. I will be patronizing this NTB even though I drove from Missouri. This place is great. The staff is friendly and accommodating as well as knowledgeable. There is ample parking spaces.When you walk in it’s very clean, modern and the staff immediately greets you. The service is fast !I would’ve given it five stars, however there was a big issue when we went to pay for the service. The website says they accept checks and the employees say “we do if the check system is working.” I went to pay my bill - over $1000 with a check .. and guess what. The system was down. Had to reach out to my boyfriend for the credit card number which was a real inconvenience because the entire time we planned on paying with a check. There are better ways to accept checks than what they currently have and they need to update that !

I went in for an oil change and was in and out pretty fast. I went first thing in the morning before work and it worked out smoothly. The staff was extremely nice and informative. Ive been going to Keith for 12 years because I trust him and his staff with my vehicles. He seems to know what hes doing.

Got me in for a set of 4 tires within 1.5 hours. Real nice staff

Had 2 new tires and a front end alignment they didnt charge my credit card for the whole amount and we didnt realize it so they made us come back to pay the rest (which shouldve been their responsibility to eat). About a month later we are back because the car isnt balanced properly and is shaking. They told me 30 to 40 mins. After waiting 45 mins they forgot to take my car back. Also, both times there were grease handprints inside our vehicle.

Love this place. Always give great service and the team is well educated on all vehicle types. I have a rare 2010 Suzuki Kizashi GTS. Ok maybe not rare but unheard-of at best. Terry and team has no problem working on it and understanding what it needs. Been to several different shops before and some would just give up and others would overcharge trying to figure out what may be the issue. Bill knew what the problem was in just 5 minutes of driving in the car and fix the issue in under a hour. Thank you guys youre number 1 in my book.

I have been to this location several times over the last year for my car maintenance and repairs. The employees are straight forward regarding the work that needs to be done. Wait times and costs area reasonable and quoted wait times are accurate. I am very pleased with the level of customer service, professionalism of employees, communication and guarantee on work done. Car is in-and-out, staff are always super friendly, and they never try to get you to buy anything you dont actually need. I drive an old car and they tell me the issues with it and some options but they dont push anything unless its actually a safety concern. Been going for years and will continue.

I went to NTB at Alton, IL for a 4 Tire & Brake Replacement couple weeks back. They offered a price match for those replacement parts, if I purchase with them instead of ordering from other websites (OEM Websites), which is good so far. They replaced the Rotors, Brake Pads & Tires. Before that, I requested for a Invoice and was provided to me. somehow, I was distracted by the other customer (Unnecessary Conversation) and really didnt looked into the Invoice before making the payments. Finally, they did good job with the repairs and I left the location with completed payments.Later, I realized that was over charged for an item and I thought it was a mistake because they worked on price match on other items and I brought this to their notice in a very professional manner. But, the response from the store is really not appreciable as they keep on saying that they baring charges for offering me the price match, which was offered by them at the first point. when I checked about the major discount (Installation Charges $119.59, offered at 50% discount) they offered on the bill with other locations, I was surprised because even this new location does offer it to keep customers with them. so, I realize that this installation discount which they keep on arguing with me for the excess change on the parts, is finally not a notable point.Even though, they did good job with the repairs, I request every customer to verify the bills before leaving the locations because no one will take responsibility with the payments already been made. and there is a great difference between good job and a satisfactory job from customer prospective, so try to be in the customer shoes while arguing with the customer.please let me know if I planted any incorrect information in my case, so I happy to take off this review and provided a satisfactory review with 5 Star rating.

These guys were great. After a blowout on the interstate I was not having a great afternoon. These guys were very helpful, got us a great deal on a tire, and even stayed after closing to make sure we got it on that night so I could be back on the road asap. Kyle is awesome! Everyone knows car trouble is just plain stressful, but the guys at NTB make it seem like it’s no big deal in a GOOD way. These guys made my life so much easier, explained everything I needed to have done to my car (in regular terms and not mechanic 😉) to make it run like it did the day that I brought it home from the dealership! I’ve never had better service when having my car worked on. If you are in the area, this is the place to go! Even if you’re not in the area, the service is worth the drive to have your vehicle worked on. They treat your car like it’s their own without you having to break the bank for quality service!

I called the day before regarding a suspected leak in a tire. I was able to schedule an appointment the next day. The employees were extremely nice and were able to get me in and out of there within 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend NTB to friends/family in the future!

Staff seemed more interested in the current customers and not new customers. They may be able to get to it today but most likely the next day. Not friendly, seemed to care less. They did have the tire in stock. He shows me a pile of work that they took that needs to be done before my car. IF you have that much work you NEED to have the STAFF to make it happen. Turning around customers 2 hours before you close is BAD business. I needed their help to replace a tire to secure the safety of my Daughter and my Grand Son. I will NOT be back with any of our 6 cars.

After a horrible experience at another shop, where I was told to leave after asking about the extended wait (2 hours), I called NTB and was told they could immediately get me in for the service I was requesting. Upon my arrival and filing the service, my car was in fact immediately in the shop. I was told a 45min-1hour wait while the service was taking place, it was even shorter.On a more personal note, their customer waiting area is very nice. Clean, stocked with coffee and a water dispenser, as well as access to vending machines and bathrooms.The prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend NTB and will be a returning customer.

I was pleasantly surprised at the effort the technician took to fix the leak in my tire. He could have simply recommended I purchase a new tire. Good customer service on this trip.

I have been here for 4 hours just to get tires. The guy at the desk who told me it would be a couple of hours has gone on home and now there is no one at the desk to answer any questions. Would have been nice if they were just honest with me and admitted they only had 2 technicians here.

Slowest place ever it should not take 2 hours to get an oil change when you have an appointment. My car sat in the garage for an 1:15 without even being touched while the worker walked around it in circles for 30 more min doing what I dont know. Absolutely ridiculous to pay $100 for an oil change and have to wait like this.Update... they fixed the issue

I PAID TO HAVE MY OIL CHANGED AND PAID FOR TWO AIR FILTERS THEY CHARGED ME FOR EVERYTHING WHEN I WENT TO DRIVE OFF I DOUBLE CHECKED AND THEY LIED THEY DIDNT EVEN INSTALL THE NEW AIR FILTERS I WAS CHARGED FOR NOT ONLY THAT THEY BROKE THE LOCKS ON MY TIRES AND ALL I GOT WAS A SORRY..DISHONEST CROOKS IM HIGHLY HIGHLY ANGRY

Went there to get a wheel alignment, replace tire monitor and get air intake cleaned. Guy comes out tells me I need to change my spark plugs after they have already been replaced and brought out a spark plug that was toast. He tells me that the plugs are really bad and probably never been replaced. Then tells me the spark plug wire broke because it was dry rotted. I tell him I don’t want the service because they’ve just been changed. Then he says well one of you cylinders is probably gonna miss fire because the wire is broke. Kept on trying to talk me into it and wouldn’t let down. The employee was very rude. Not to mention none of that happened plug wire was fine and the spark plug brought out was not my spark plug.

Store manager Keith Allen is just great. Very business professional and customer friendly. Always in it for what is best for his customers.

I have used this location on several occasions. They are always forgetful and do not check their work before returning the vehicle. Most recently, I have brake repairs done due to a noise. They performed work, which they said fixed the problem, but the noise was still there afterwards. Unfortunately, I did not have time to return soon, but later the noise got much worse and constant. Their work does have a lifetime warrantee, so they did not charge again to repeat the work they had done before (which was ruined because they did not fix the original problem). I was charged for repairs which may not have been necessary if they had done the correct repair in the first place (this time had to replace wheel rotars). When they returned the vehicle to me, the ABS (antilock brake system) and TCS (traction control system) warning lights were on. It was a rainy night, which would be one of the worst times to not have these systems operational. I had to go back in and spend another 30 minutes of my time to find out that whoever had done the work had forgotten to reconnect a wire for these systems. So, not only was it poor workmanship, but when he took the vehicle out for a test drive to make sure that the original problem was fixed, he didnt notice or didnt care that there were 3 warning lights on the dash that shouldnt have been on. Again, all I can say positively is that there is a lifetime warrantee. I would not recommend them.

I took my car in because the check engine light was on. The car ran fine, but it had the light on. After 2 days they weren’t able to tell me what the problem was, AND the car barely ran when I got it back. When I questioned the manager about it, he got extremely rude and told me to leave and never come back. The only reason I gave them 1 Star is because I couldn’t give them 0.

We were getting ready to go camping and found out there was a bad tire on the trailer. It was late but Charles at NTB found us 4 great tires at a fair price. Got us in right after work the next day. Ready to go camping without any tire worries.

I went to the website to order the tires I wanted put on my vehicle and also to schedule the appointment. I completed the process and it scheduled my appointment for Saturday. (Which was my day off). I arrived Saturday and gave them my keys, they pulled the car around to the garage and I went to the waiting room. 30 minutes later they came to the waiting room to let me know that the tires I ordered wouldnt actually arrive until the following Tuesday. The associate then asked me if I would like to use a tire they had in stock which would be about $100 higher. I asked them if they could consider a comp on the price since this was their mistake and it had already been 30 minutes of the morning on my day off. They told me no. So I told them I would leave and come back Tuesday to get them. It then took them another 30 minutes to get my car put back together and let me know it was ready to go. I wasted over an hour of my day off on this entire process and was in no way made to feel like I would be compensated for this. No one apologized. The manager sat at the front desk eating his lunch and talking with other employees while I stood there waiting. It was a really disappointing process and I cant see any reason to return here. As a side note; I called Dobbs in Edwardsville and they had better tires, in stock, and gave me the price NTB originally quoted me, AND did the work that day. I would recommend people look elsewhere to find a place that is more organized and also provides better customer service. The lack of communication, concern, and service really makes one wonder how a place like this can stay in business.

Took 3 hours to do an alignment and replace 2 front tires. When I left there was a horrible noise coming from the front. They took it back in and fixed it and an hour later I was out the door. Workers were very nice although by watching thru the window they don’t get in a hurry and spend more time talking than working.

I will never in my life go back to have anything done at NTB! they put a temp plug in my tire because they were about to close and didnt want to take the time to plug it correctly so he said come back during the day some time very soon to have a permanent plug put in! ok cool I get it youre closing totally, so I leave and go back a few days later and they were too busy and sent me off, then called...they couldnt do it, then called again and same thing so I went back in and they said they were way too busy so last straw is when I called them on my way home from work because my tire was starting to go super low and it wouldnt hold air....as soon as I would get it aired up, it would just go right back to 23 lbs of pressure...so when I called, he said we wouldnt be able to get you in we are slammed sorry i said to hell with it and decided I wont waste any more of my time and go somewhere that will actually care about my tire not being safe! I chose to let Auto Tire take care of me and they succeeded! I will be buying/upgrading all 4 new tires to more meaty tires and will be going back too ;) sorry not sorry NTB! you snooze you lose

This Guys does great work every time i go there especially Charles Brown he is a hard woker and i would recommend anyone as long as hes working their because he care and would come let you know about everything thats going on about your car how long its going to be and everything. Lovely experience all around! 10 minutes before closing time, I found myself at the gas station next door with a broken valve stem from a recent tire replacement a Walmart. My husband established that we needed to put the spare on. While attempting to change the faulty tire, 2 lug nuts snapped off! I was sure we were going to have to be towed to the nearest service station. At that point, Kyle from NTB pulled up and asked if we needed any help. Not only did he stay past closing time to replace walmarts faulty valve stem, but he insisted that the service was free of charge!!! Thanks again to the guys at the Alton NTB for saving the day! Youve earned a customer for life.
