Do not count on the people who work for family camping to be able to fix things under warranty because they often say it’s done and then it is not done after we get home. This has happened to us twice since we have bought trailers from family camping! We should have learned our lesson the first time and checked everything while we were there. So just don’t trust if they say it is fixed because it might not be.

My wife and I purchased a used travel trailer from Alan and Chuck at the time of the sale we could not have been more pleased with the way the sale was handled. In the three months we have had the trailer we thought we had two issues with the trailer. In both times Alan went over our perceived issues and explained what and how we needed to do to correct our concerns. After the sale is when the true customer service comes out and in my opinion they went way above what was expected.

We were in Amarillo overnight on our way to camp and ride horses in South Dakota. The horse motel we stayed at had wired the electrical outlet incorrectly and when we plugged in it blew a bunch of fuses and the trailer converter (think no lights, no water, no electricity) for two weeks. We pulled into the RV repair shop with horses in the trailer on a hot summer day. The shop got to us immediately and got us fixed up amazingly fast. We sure appreciate led that!!

I bought a used 5th wheel from them. They spent over an hour going over every detail of my rig. I felt that I was dealing with good, Christian people.So rare now days.

Called and told them and told them what problem I was having with the toilet in my camper. They were very helpful at diagnosing the problem and had the part to fix it. Very polite and helpful

Salesman was great allowing us look around at the campers on the lot. No pressure sales, answered question, gave us information to look over for RVs and his phone # to answer any of our questions. Appreciate his low sales approach and laid back style of customer service.

Alan & the entire staff went above & beyond being patient, helpful, and knowledgeable about their trailers. On the financing end of it, Alan was very fast and cooperative giving my financial institution information needed to close the deal. THIS DEALER IS BY FAR THE BEST IN AMARILLO!! My camper I purchased used had been worked on by Family Camping Service Center. I could not figure out how to get the hot water heater working and called them. I got Dale on the phone and I figured they would tell me to bring it in and they would charge me $100.00 to help me... hope.. Dale spent about 15 min on the phone with me helping me. I called back an hour later to bother them again and once again Dale answered the phone and helped me for another 10 min. This kind of service is very rare these days. Thanks again team! I greatly appreciate you! I hope people treat you half as good as you treated me today!

We have bought three campers. Very friendly and always give a good deal on our trade ins.

We were passing through Amarillo on our way to Sedona, AZ and ran into serious issues with our camper. I made a call to this establishment and spoke with the owner, we tried to triage this issues over the phone. However, we quickly determined that this would require us to come in.The staff made adjustments to what they were doing in order to assist & apply the needed fixes. In less that 90 minutes we paid our bill and we were back on the road.I can’t express in words how amazing this type of customer service is, 5-stars is not enough but it will have to do. Big thanks to the Family Camping Service group, you salvaged our summer vacation trip.

These people are absolutely wonderful. We had to keep changing our camper appointment because we were having truck problems. They were great about working with us. If you have a camper problem in Amarillo I highly recommend them.

While passing through Amarillo, we stopped in for some plumbing parts and were so impressed at how friendly and helpful everyone was! They ensured we were getting the right parts for our needs, took their time with us, and even recommended places for us to visit while we were in the area. Were so glad we chose the right place!

On our way to Yellowstone we thought we had run out of propane. Propane filled and still wouldnt work. Our propane regulator went out. They had it fixed and working and back on the road in about 30 minutes. Thank you so much for saving our vacation and taking the time to help us out!

Pulled in with a dead A/C on my camper. Service dept. was backed up but told me what to do when I told them the symptoms. Bottom line, back on the road in an hour with no service fee. Great people

We had an issue with our RV that was supposedly fixed in Dallas, but got to Palo Duro and discovered it wasnt completely repaired and tested. We stopped in and they not only fixed the issue right away, but the repair person went out of his to explain and fix a few other things while we were there. Highly recommend this RV Center!

My camper Thetford cassette holding tank went kaput and despite short supply, transportation and tracking problems, Dale stayed on mission and a replacement tank arrived a few days prior to my scheduled departure date from the Amarillo area. Great customer service at Family Camping, knowledgeable, dependable, efficient and friendly.

We wanted to look at their 5th wheel trailers but we did not get there in time. We had work done there and we are very pleased.

Alan and service staff attended to the emergency repair of our broken topper, staying late to get us back on the road to Michigan. Great service. Wish they lived closer!
