I have never been more disappointed with a big purchase experience than I was buying my travel trailer from Gander RV of Amarillo. Not only did the finance lady not communicate well at all but I was told at purchase that mobile technicians were available - this in fact is not the case; with the closest service booked 8 weeks out my warranty wont cover any of the service if I call a mobile technician. I have asked that I receive a return call to discuss my options but I have yet to receive that call...it has been a week! Stuck between a rock and a hard place - customer service is definitely lacking. I recommend you do LOTS of research yourself and dont rely on them to upfront about ANYTHING!

This was a problem free experience due to the professional staff and service manager. You can trust these people with any of your rv needs. Nice waiting room, restrooms and coffee bar. I even kept my dog with me.

Scott Savage in the collision repair is outstanding. He got my rv repaired after a minor collision. The outside shower and the city water fill were destroyed in a run in with a tree. There was some minor cosmetic damage also. Scott had the shower and water issues fixed before the insurance settled so we could go camping while waiting on the cosmetic repairs. I got to use my camper this summer because of Scott. We also had taken the camper in for some warranty work. It was not handled correctly to begin with but Scott Savage also got that taken care of fairly quickly. I would recommend this Gander RV as long as Scott Savage and Keith Richardson are here.

We came to Gander RV and Sales to see the RV museum on Wednesday, 10/13/21. The store manager was very helpful and friendly. However, the information online about the location of the RV museum being behind the shop at this location is incorrect. RV museum has been moved to a different location and only open Thursday- Saturday. The name of the museum is now Jack Sisemore Traveland RV Museum. We stopped in to look at some of the class Cs. Yall they were super friendly and didnt drive us crazy with crazy pressure. And there is a museum in the back. There is a lot of history in that museum so you should check that out.

Remembering this we went back to purchase a camper and had an even better experience. They were again super friendly, helpful and at no time did we feel pressured into anything. My experience with this dealership was far less than professional. I had talked to a rep during the weekend about seeing an airstream 25. Made an appointment and they knew I was coming from Dallas (6 hrs). I got there Monday night and when I showed up for my appointment Tuesday morning they told me that they had sold the airstream. Wasted my time and money. Got home Tuesday night only to get a phone call from them indicating that the “other” person backed out. They promised to make it up to me by giving me a “really good price” on the RV. Never heard back from them. I wouldn’t buy anything from this dealership. If this is the treatment before buying an RV, then what is the treatment after they take your money?

The staff is super friendly, but not pushy! I just fell in love with the staff here. I came in with clear expectations of what I wanted, and Mike was able to hear me out before showing me the Trailers. He was a straight shooter and didn’t try to get me in something I wasn’t looking for. Lori was great at working with us to get the financing we needed. I would definitely come here again. I will be recommending Jack Sisemore Traveland to all my friends and family!

We were visiting the RV Museum, which was incredible! Beyond the stunning collection of restored vintage RVs of all types, there were a few cars and a couple dozen motorcycles, as well as other travel related memorabilia.The dealership staff were very nice and didnt miss am opportunity to sell us a new Airstream. Those with a weak constitution beware!If you stop by with your RV rig, parallel park on the road out front.

Walkins are welcome! But if you mention that you are interested in something specific, that or new ones is all they will show you. We saw no used RVs, only new ones and that was not by choice but we didnt think of it till we had left. But customer service was good.

Debra, Lori, and Jack were very nice and welcoming. They treated us like friends. I didn’t get the “smarmy” used car salesman vibe from them at all. Lori did all the financial paperwork and it was very smooth. She went above and beyond and we didn’t have to sit and wait for the final papers to go through. Very pleasant experience. Service department can not be recommended we took brand new trailer in that we bought from them when refrigerator went out after one use and they had it 6 weeks when called to check on it after a month we were told they couldn’t even find our trailer then once it was located we were told the refrigerator was in and would be installed the following week. Well guess what I sit here a week later they have now had it 6 weeks and it’s not ready. Was told that every time they put a technician on it he gets busy with other work orders. We have had a trip planned and paid for and when we explained this to the service department they simply said so you need the day before you leave. Really you are going to push it the very last day and give us no time to pack and prepare we don’t even live in Amarillo so we already have to take extra time to drive there and back. I mean how long can it take to replace a refrigerator. I cannot and will not recommend them. To my friends thinking about a purchase trust me the “great” customer service doesn’t last after the sale.

The service here is fantastic! Especially Lori in financing and the tech guys that worked on the trailer and the supervision over the tech. I will be back again for another one!

Our first time at Sisemore. We were greeted promptly and politely. A friend works there so we asked for him. Steve is quite knowledgeable about all things RV. We saw some zero gravity chairs that we bought for quite a bit less than weve seen elsewhere and with more features. We did not buy a trailer this trip but see no need to look any where else.

We are very happy with our brand new RV we started out camping in a tent then we fell off the air mattress then we bought a pop up we loved it best pop up ever then we move into a RV but it was used then it got hail damaged so now we are so excited to go out camping thank you to everyone who helped us .

Five stars and an outstanding bunch of people to get to know. We left feeling like they were part family. Starting with Michael the salesman, who I believe thought oh no what planet did these people come from to Billy who did an outstanding job and we had several yahoo minutes. This place has a very good selection of larger travel trailers and motorhomes. There is also a grest selection of accessory items. What there is NOT plenty of is a good selection of travel trailers that are reasonably priced and that can be towed by smaller vehicles.

This dealership is great! They actually took my vehicle and put gas in it for me. I paid for the gas but Angela went and got it for me. Everything really is bigger in Texas including customer service

The Nicest and Friendliest People in the industry. We came late Saturday to take a break after a long 6 hour RV drive. They greet us with smile and give us time and space to check all the new RV. Mike Galloway (Service Manager) and Hunter noticed our broken night light, they offered to fix it (at no charge), they took action, did it right and show patience and kindness throughout the process. The entire experience really blows our mind. Thank you so much Mike and Hunter.

This place is an absolute stop for history buffs and RT66 lovers alike. Did I mention its free?Free? Honestly I cant get over how great this little musuem was. You can actually go into most of the RVs which is a pretty unique way to teach your kids some history. Thier are lots of RVs with an explanation of its contribution and first appearance historically & use. There are nods to the past everwhere including and old diner set up. The staff is awesome & friendly! A hands down must see!

As an update 7 months later made an appointment for service April 29th here it is May 16th and Jack Sisemore is still waiting for the warranty company to tell them what they will pay for. That tells me that if I was broke down on a trip it would be a very unpleasant time. Dont get me wrong the service department is very friendly and willing to answer me about were they are at in trying to get it fixed my camper

We drove down from Cheyenne Wyoming to trade our camper in on a new one. Steve, billy were amazing to work with and there service team that set up our hitch on the new camper was very friendly and courteous. We even had a the opportunity to meet and talk to Jack he was very nice and easy to talk with! We loved the museum behind the shop with a lot History of old campers and Harley Davidsons, we would not hesitate to do this again as you don’t find many places that care about their business, staff, and customers like Jack did!!
