The most wonderful staff in town. I feel legitimately cared for when I come here, I show up at least once a week. Every single employee is kind, and funny, and they never mess up my order. Theyre amazing, Ill never go anywhere else as long as Urbana is open.

I was surprised by the varied selection of coffee options around this side of Amarillo but chose Urbana purely on a hunch. So glad I did. I was warmly greeted by baristas Tyler and Ryder, who talked me into the made-in-house cold brew (delicious!) and welcomed me to the city. They were having a Marvel vs. DC competition determined by two separate tip jars, which prompted a friendly discussion between the three of us (I found this to be just one of the many fun quirks at this coffeehouse). They also did an excellent job of following proper safety protocol revolving around COVID-19, including a limit on guests allowed inside, proper distancing, masks, ample sanitizer throughout, and allowing me to pay without contact. Im pretty particular about good coffee, and Im VERY impressed with Urbana and will make it a regular stop anytime Im in Amarillo!

The service was fast and the employees were nice, but the coffee tasted terrible. It was difficult to drink due to the acidity. Unfortunately I dont think I will be going back due to the coffee being so bad.

I really enjoy the urban, artistic, industrial atmosphere. Its a quiet coffee shop with a lot of space to enjoy a long read, conversation with friend or just grab coffee and run. Staff is courteous and coffee is great. Parking is shared with other shops, but the location makes it very attractive. Its my new home away from home.

I have traveled all over the country working in cafes and this is one of the absolute best working environments. Quiet but not too quiet, great food, reasonable prices, lots of outlets placed conveniently. I didnt try the wifi but the chili was delicious!

Had the single origin Ethiopia drip, brother had the London fog and dad had the hot cocoa. Hit the mark on all of them! Only way they could improve is if they found a local source for beans but their coffee is great so maybe the local sources havent been able to beat their current source yet.

Its a very modern coffee shop with great sandwiches and salads. The owner is very friendly and even took the time to explain differences in coffee beans and brewing processes.Its a very quiet environment, you can actually have a conversation without yelling. The music played is also not overly new age or weird.Definitely recommend going during lunch.

Terrible coffee, service was ok, took a few minutes for an iced cowboy coffee, but the flavor was awful. I couldnt finish it, and it was iced, so theres not much to drink to begin with. Super acidic, almost acrid, must be using expired beans, or dirty water, because coffee should never taste this way.

The coffee was exceptional, on par with Palace and Evocation. The atmosphere was sleek and contemporary with a nice dark theme. The shop itself was very clean.My only three concerns:- Service is slow and inefficient. (probably just needs tuning since its a new place)-Staff werent very friendly, they werent unfriendly mind you, but you can definitely tell the difference between their attitudes and say one of the other major coffee shops. (also, probably something that will change with additional training/experience)-No room for cream, means no room; I want all of the product for which Im paying.

Used to be a solid coffee shop, but now it just chases Starbucks. So, come here if you want a cup of sweet milk or some ice cream.

Urbana is undoubtedly the best coffee place in town. I’ve been going there for a few years and the coffee, food, atmosphere, and baristas never disappoint. And the food that they have during lunch is amazing. It’s my favorite place to eat and study. I recommend it to everyone.

Barista was very very helpful for our first time here. Coffee was fantastic and service was awesome. Atmosphere is great and relaxing definitely worth coming back! Knowledge of coffee was great as well!

Coffee is extremely sour and acidic. I dont know if it is because of brewing method or poor coffee bean choice. But they were very nice people! But the coffee was awful.

Fabulous service, and the coffee is divine. They also have a drive through which is great in the morning and inbetween afternoon errands. The inside is relaxing, and they have plug-ins for your laptops! I hear they are incorporating lunch menus soon, to go along with the tasty desserts they already offer. Plenty of parking in the back and front.

Delicious. Reasonably priced. Soft music ideal for a quiet conversation or studying. I hate loud coffee shops and Urbana Coffee Works is always a great calm noise level.

Wow, I had previously wrote, well, a pretty bad review, lots of it pertaining to unhelpful and uneducated staff but the past two times Ive been in, its been totally different. It feels like a totally different place than what I had visited before, the employees were incredibly kind and welcomining and really seemed to know what they were doing, shots tasted so much better, and cold brew was pretty darn good, if it wasnt so pricey in here Id come in more often, but overall, a great shop thats totally shifted my opinion towards them, great staff and drinks.

Fast service, a drive through and early hours of operations are some of the best things about this place. Coffee is good, hot chocolate is good, lattes are good if you tell them to cut back on the syrup, and apple ciders are awful - I repeat, dont get the apple cider. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. If you like the coffee make sure and get a punch card.

Coffee was good. They werent really ready for customers when I arrived just a few minutes after they opened, though. If youre early, make sure you arent in a hurry.

Not terrible, but they were out of a lot of flavors when I went. Coffee shop should never run out of ingredients.

Love the coffee and atmosphere here...the baristas on the other hand seem to be so annoyed and bothered by customers. I also go through the drive thru in the mornings and get the same impression. Im not a particularly tough critic, but Ive been here 10+ times and never get so much as a good morning! Obviously I like the coffee a lot or Id stop coming all together. I recommend it to friends, but tell them not to expect warm and friendly service, just good coffee.

I love this place! Their coffee and chai tea latte are both AMAZING! The atmosphere is sleek and comfortable. Competitively priced. Its a nice quiet place to sip coffee and work. Free WiFi! And their drive thru makes for convenient Sunday morning coffee. This is definitely one of the best in town BY FAR!

I went there one time with my daughter there was a guy that work there that knew how to make a certainty he was very knowledgeable about the coffees and teas there then the second time I went and ordered the same kind of coffee or tea and they had no idea what I was talking about and when I ordered something they gave me something totally different I asked them about it and they had no clue of how to make it or what was going on I dont recommend going here yes it is a coffee place for yuppies but I wouldnt recommend this place I would never go there again second time I went very disappointed the coffee sucks

Overpriced for just your average coffee. The large is the same size as their medium. Staff was friendly enough. Received my coffee with way too much froth it was disgusting. Sucks but I rather go get McDs coffee instead.
