I had a wonderful experience working with the Elizabeth Cooper Design team, specifically Carrie, as we met over zoom to discuss my options just 4 months before the big day. She explained the dress options they had available in my size. I decided to try two dresses, expecting to return one of them and have the other altered. Once I chose my dress, Carrie helped me set up alterations, explaining how to mark everything correctly over the phone. I decided to change the hem, sleeves, neckline, and add a bustle; all of which didnt phase Carrie. She was confident in her seamstresses abilities and helped me keep calm about altering the dress so much. We kept in constant communication through emails about shipping and returns. Everything was as easy as could be. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Carrie. She gave me the bridal experience I was looking for even though I never left my house to do so. Honestly I was so nervous about buying online but they were absolutely wonderful about answering all my questions and even set up my order for me.The beautiful quality and care that was put into my dress is obvious. To say I am obsessed with my ECD Dress would be an understatement. As a plus size bride with a picky fashion sense, I had not been having much luck with finding my dream dress. I came across ECD on Instagram, and fell in LOVE with their Margaret Dress. I set up an online appointment because I was in Idaho and they were so kind — they answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns honestly. They had the dress in my size! I then would get it altered by the seamstress they recommended (who was fantastic too!) and then ECD sent it to my my parent’s house in Arizona where I was getting married. They helped field my questions even after purchasing the dress and up to my wedding day. The dress was everything I wanted from a clean simple yet elegant design, a longgggg train from my dreams, and being something unique enough for my wedding — something I’d never worn anything like before. I had the best experience trying on dresses today with Kerri (I’m sorry if I misspelled your name). She was the sweetest and sooo patient with me as I had so many dresses I wanted to try on. She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful when trying on dresses! Not only that but her dresses are also so beautiful and breathtaking. They 100% deserve every one of these stars! #1 they have beautiful and elegant gowns for a reasonable price which can be hard to find in a modest style. #2 they bent over backwards to help meet my needs and get me in for an appointment #3 they are so sweet and so interested in who you are and what is going to make you feel like you on your special day! Honestly I felt so comfortable and they make it a fun experience even for me, someone who isnt a fan of shopping. All in all amazing store with amazing people and worth every single penny. My husband Solomon and I were married on the 28th of April 2021 and I purchased my wedding dress from Elizabeth Cooper Design. Carrie was an absolute delight to work with – she answered my 1000 questions and we even had an international video call to tease out all the finer details, and my dress was delivered all the way to Perth, Australia! It is the most stunning, beautiful, and elegant dress and I received many compliments regarding it. I felt like a princess and it just completed our day perfectly. I would highly recommend Elizabeth Cooper Design – especially if you are in the USA but even if you are international like me!

I bought my dress off the rack from them in October because I got married in December and I absolutely loved it. Long sleeve lace sleeves was a must have for me and they absolutely delivered (I went with the Fern gown). The dress was so comfortable and I was able to dance and do everything required of me on my wedding day without worrying my dress would be in the way. My one complaint is that I paid over $100 for a veil that had ragged cut edges of tulle. It felt like I had overpaid for something really cheaply done. Overall though my experience and Elizabeth Cooper Design was so kind and welcoming. They were so kind and patient as I looked at and tried on all the dressed in my appointment. I love that it’s a local family run business as well rather that some national chain.

I could go on forever about how wonderful our experience was at ECD. The minute you walk through the door, you are transported into the most elegant place. Just seeing the delicate, soft flowing fabric of the dresses hanging, we knew we were in for something special & different than what the other shops had to offer. They weren’t the same stark white dresses that we had previously been shown. (It seems that the other places order from the same suppliers..?) We LOVED that they had their own unique designs & the softer whites really do make them feel more sophisticated. It was a dream. The designs are beautiful, and they really cater to you to find the perfect dress for your Bride. If you are wanting to find the most incredible dress & create that memory you’ve always dreamed of with your Bride, this is the place. The prices were right where we hoped they’d be as well. The owner is terrible. So rude, she made fun of my cousin with disabilities and then proceeded to fat shame me. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Sure some of the dresses are pretty but its not really worth your self value and worth to be belittled by the owner and her staff. I left in tears.

They have the most beautiful, modest, high quality wedding dresses and provide the best customer service. Carrie, the owner, helped me find the most PERFECT wedding dress that fit me so well. I was extremely picky but Carrie never seemed annoyed and she never rushed me. She also recommended me to an amazing seamstress who made sure my dress fit me perfectly. I went to a few bridal stores around Salt Lake and stumbled upon Elizabeth Cooper Design in American Fork. I love the fact theyre local, a family store, and you can buy right off the rack or have a custom dress. I chose to have my dress made as I am bigger. There was no awkwardness, it was calm, peaceful, and when it was time to pick up my dress they helped with trying it on and giving me ideas for wearing options. I tell everyone I meet to look them up.

It was one of my first times wedding dress shopping and Katie was SUCH a help! She figured out what I wanted and brought over a dress I never would have thought to try on, but ended up loving! We did not end up buying a dress from them but our experience there was great. When you put a dress on and explain how you would like it altered to be your perfect dress, one of the sales artists stand there with a large drawing pad and draw the directions you would like. When you’re done, she has drawn the dress you are describing! Amazing

I traveled to this particular bridal shop from Ogden because my daughter saw a dress that she loved and had made an appointment to see a particular dress she saw on-line. To begin with, the the shop was very difficult to find, because we could not find it we decided to ask several people in the area if they knew where this shop was and no one knew where it was or heard of it, and we than decided to go into other businesses to ask if they knew the location of the store and no one had heard of it! We did finally find it (much to my regret) and we waited for a salesperson, who happened to be the owner of the shop. My daughter told her she had called to reserve a dress and the owner told her that she had just sold the dress. My daughter proceeded to tell her that she was told the dress would be available and should come in for a fitting so that it could be ready for her wedding day. No dress, but the owner pulled one out that was the same style of dress in a silver color and a size 12 (my daughter is a size 4). At this point I was rather angry and very irritated and wanted to leave the shop but my daughter who flew in from Washington DC did not want to leave (BIG MISTAKE). I asked the the salesperson if she was the owner of the shop and she replied, yes. I proceeded to express my disappointment at the poor customer service we had received and her reply was, you could go to other bridal stores and shop there. At this point I looked at my daughter and said we should go but we stayed. The owner of the shop than was a little nicer and offered to bring out other dresses, which she should have offered to do in the first place. All I can say is RUN, never shop at this bridal shop, EVER. I work retail and I know good customer service and this was by far one of my worst customer service experiences.

Incredibly unprofessional. My sister, who is 5 ft 7 inches and a size 6-8, was told by the designer that she was “so big” over and over again as she was helped into the dresses. When we asked if there was any way we could slightly alter one of the dresses the designer was offended and told us that “most people like it the way that it is”. When we bought the gown and had the gown altered, my sister wasn’t able to move her arms at all and was once again told that it was because she was a different shape than what the dress was designed for. We ended up having to have the gown altered elsewhere and my poor sister hated her dress on her wedding day. I will never recommend this store again.

Elizabeth Cooper Design has the most gorgeous modest wedding dresses I have seen. I shopped all over Utah valley and definitely loved my experience here best, their gowns are not only beautiful and unique but they were so sweet and patient with me while I found my perfect dress.

We found a beautiful dress and veil at Elizabeth Cooper Design. My daughter loved it and looked like an angel in it!As far as our experience with the store:Its a little hard to find because there is no sign on the store front, just black vinyl letters on the door. Also, there is only street parking.  Not a huge deal, but every detail adds to the experience.Be prepared to be pressured into making a decision on your first visit by being offered a first-time-visit-only discount.  Also,  make your appointment on a weekday when it is less busy. We went on a Saturday and felt very rushed and pressured to make a decision.  Even though in the end my daughter loved her dress,  she was unsure at first if she had made a good decision because we felt pressured into it.Beware that communication with the staff after you order can be tricky because they only email. That caused us some miscommunication and undue frustration. But they were quick to find a solution and in the end we got what we needed.Thank you to Katie for her help in this. She was our favorite person to work with.

My fiance bought her wedding dress here and the staff could not have been more helpful. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish and their attention to detail makes Elizabeth Cooper designs stand out among many bridal shops in Utah Valley. They took their time and help us find options and tailoring solutions to make the dress the perfect gown for our upcoming wedding. Its a small space. The family run business knows the dresses. The appointments are run together so there is the fun of talking to other friends and families of other brides, while to wait for your bride to try on dresses. The dresses are beautiful, modest and range from extravagant to simple to meet each brides preference and tastes and budget.

They have beautiful dresses here, definitely worth taking a look at. I would just say they are a smaller shop so they dont always have what you want in stock. If you are going to see a particular dress they might not have it so be prepared to have a few alternative dresses in mind.

I had a tough experience. Went to one of their bridal trunk shows. The dresses I liked were not there and I know at least one was mislabeled. I had saved pictures of the dresses on my phone it had the names of the dresses from the website. Very few dresses in my size. About size 4-6. They were trying to pressure me to get a dress. One of the dresses the lace wasnt symmetrical and they kept telling me if it was steamed it would then fall correctly. I knew if I could see it with the naked eye then in pictures the asymmetrical lace would really be noticeable. They tried to get the seamstress to tell me it was fine. I got really upset because I dont like being lied to and pressured. Maybe she really thought it was fine. At the end of the day the brides should be happy with the dresses. If the seamstress likes them fine but she isnt purchasing the dresses. The quality of the dresses I tried on was poor. Some of the dresses had really hard lace (scratchy). Compared to the website wasnt even the same dresses. Maybe from a previous collection. I felt rushed and pressured. They almost had me in tears by the end because I didnt really like any of the dresses and they were pressuring me to get one. Overall I did not have a pleasant experience. I just want to share my review with others so they can avoid a similar experience. I had high hopes from what I saw on their website.

She made me feel comfortable, beautiful, and I did not feel pressured to buy. Elizabeth Coopers Boutique is a Utah based company that designs modest, unique and reasonably priced wedding gowns. I bought mine a few weeks ago, and overall experience was just great.Time: You have to make an appointment in order to try on their dresses. I wrote them a week before one of their trunk shows, and they were completely booked. But, fortunately, someone cancelled, and I was able to go. Usually your appointment lasts for an hour, so Ive gotten to try on lots of different dresses. They were all very fashionable, and it was hard to choose only one.Quality of Service: Amazing. I was actually helped into my dresses by an owner of the boutique, and she was very helpful and patient.Price: I am an international student with no family support, so my budget is pretty tight when it comes to any type of expenses. Not only was I able to buy a beautiful and modest dress, but it was affordable.If you are on a tight budget but really want a modest and stylish wedding gown, Elizabeth Coopers Boutique is the perfect place for you.

Oh my heavens, where do I began? I got my GORGEOUS dress for $500, a much lower prices than I would have been willing to spend. I purchased my gown at their pop up shop, which I would recommend. The stylist that helped me try on dresses was so friendly and kind, and was very patient.

Getting my dress was by far the easiest part of planning our wedding! The experience I had with the staff at Elizabeth Coopers Boutique exceeded my expectations. I tried on 4 or 5 dresses and they helped me narrow it down to my dress, and were very patient in the process. They didnt make me feel pressured when it came to buying a dress. I was a little nervous with the appointments being only 40 minutes but it was the perfect amount of time. I was very excited to find a modest dress at such a low price. I still cant believe my dress was under $500!! They also have an amazing lady that does the alterations. I have been recommending this place to every one of my friends that have gotten married and even people who arent getting married!

My wife went here to buy her wedding dress and was extremely disappointed with the final product. The customer service was not helpful and they basically called her fat (shes not even overweight). The custom measurements she gave them didnt end up in the final dress. When she picked it up, the dress didnt fit at all. So she spent hundreds of extra dollars at a different tailor trying to get it to fit how it should have when she first bought it. Do not go here if you want friendly service and a dress that fits.

LOVE THEM. I had an early appointment to the trunk show, and it was perfect! It wasnt too crowded, and I was able to try on any of the dresses that I wanted to. My dress fits me perfectly, its beautiful-- not to mention its actually pretty comfortable. Since I went early, the selection of dresses was a lot wider. I imagine that when you go later in the day, the selection options are pretty limited which might be a problem. But seriously -- get an early appointment!! I highly recommend!

I recently went with my sister in law to try on dresses. She was excited to go here because our other sister had been treated to a great experience! Because of the location, we struggled to find parking and were about 5 minutes late (not their fault at all, just relating details). When we got there, my SIL showed the owner/attendant styles she liked and requested blush. She tried on styles that were similar in fit but not at all in design to what she had asked for and only very few blush dresses. Then when she tried to ask for a different design, the attendant tried to put the blame on my sister in law for not being clear enough with what she wanted. That was frustrating since we literally showed her pictures of what my sister in law wanted. I understand not having that style in stock or in the store, but please be upfront and honest about that and do not put the blame on the bride. We felt rushed and unwelcome. My sister in law also later voiced frustration that she could not browse the dress styles. I totally understand that that is a unique experience and not many salons offer that. (No biggie, just passing along customer wishes.) I brought my two sons with me, but they were well behaved. We felt a little displeasure from the attendant at there being children present. But like I said, they were very well behaved and her attitude was unwarranted.Just all in all, not a great experience. We felt like we were unwanted and unwelcome. I would not recommend this salon to another bride.

I recently went with my sister to see her try on some dresses, and we were surprised with the quality of service we received. The dresses were all very pretty, but multiple times the people helping us (and the other appointment) were on their phones, and just seemed passive, and just seemed like they didnt care to be there. Whenever we had questions, it seemed like the answer we got was Im not the right person to ask when we wanted to know about pricing and details on dresses. Whenever my sister went back into the dressing room, the associate would kick the train of the dress in after her, which was a tad bit tacky. Also, a lot of the dresses my sister had hoped to try were out of stock. Everything was very pretty, but a big part of buying a wedding dress is feeling comfortable and encouraged while trying on options, and that isnt what we received. We really had high hopes, but were kind of let down.

Found them on Instagram and decided to give them a try. Many of the negative reviews here focus on things that they tell you going into things. Make sure and read through the instructions in the confirmation email and you will be fine. The consultants mostly just helped you in and out of the dresses, but didnt pressure you one way or another. I thought they were professional and kind. A great deal, and the dresses are beautiful. If you want to get the most out of your appointment, look online first to find the dresses you are interested. I ended up walking out with the dress that I fell in love with online. Overall a good experience, I highly recommend this place.

I was there with a friend, over all it was a good experience. They were running a little behind but worked quickly to get us in and the attention the bride deserved. It is a tiny shop with only a little sign stuck on the door so it was a bit hard to find. The selection is rather small, which doesnt mean you cant find an amazing dress. Their alteration rate is lower than many other places. I was disappointed that they didnt have accessories. They had one veil to give you an idea but it was not in style so it was hard to imagine a full look.

Great place. My family loves the dresses. Owners are very clear and the business is extremely well managed.

Went with my best friend to find her wedding dress. It was a very personal experience and they never had her try on a dress outside her price range. Appointment only but all in all a wonderful experince.

I felt like they rushed the whole process. Didnt care about the bride at all. Cared more about selling the dress rather then making the bride feel beautiful. I get that it is a trunk show and you have a small amount of time but you should treat your paying customers with more respect. I was a guest of the bride and watch as all 3 brides and parties were being helped and felt like they were just rushing everyone in and out and didnt listen to any concerns.

This bridal boutique was by far the worst place I visited with respect to quality of service.First, they treat their brides like sheep. They will quickly try to rush you in and out. They wont take the time to remember your name. They will calling on you every minute saying are you done? are you ready? are you done? are you ready? next. Also, I really disliked how they helped me into my dress. They are not very respectful of your body as they lace you up.Second, they treat your family and friends poorly. I brought my maid of honor with me and the store owner and my attendant did not even take the time to ask my maid of honors name and quickly shoved her off to a vacant seat at my mirror. When I came out to look at my dresses, the store owner and my attendant did not let my maid of honor say even two words about how she liked my dress. I felt like they did not give her a chance to voice her opinions and were more preoccupied with giving their own thoughts on the dresses.Third, they will treat you poorly if you are size 8 or above. I am a size 10, and because I am a size 10, Elizabeth Coopers Boutique hardly had any dresses that I could wear. In other words,many of their dresses are made for size 2-6. If you are average like me or a more curvy lady, you will not fit into many of the dresses,and be limited to a very very very small selection of dresses. Awful experience! Unprofessional and the owners are NOT friendly. Brought two sisters and my mom with me and they made one of my sisters leave, apparently only 2 people max. SO INCREDIBLY RUDE! And you have only 45 minutes and no consultant to work with either. Very unorganized and not to mention the building was freezing! The dresses are cheaply made. Probably from China. Their studio was tiny and not many options of dresses. Stay away!!

I first saw ECD on Pinterest and fell in love with their Holly Gown. I followed them on Instagram and always knew I wanted the holly gown as my wedding dress. I scheduled an appointment with the store and they let me try on all the dresses I wanted. I knew the holly gown was the one the minute I tried it on! It’s beautiful. I love how friendly they are and how the sleeves/etc. can be customized! They have amazing color selections. I got my dress earlier than expected (perfect!) and it fit like a dream. All of their dresses have corsets so I didn’t even need alterations. They are quick to respond to emails and are always willing to help. I’ve recommended so many friends to buy an ECD gown—I would do it over 1000x with them. Thank you for my dream wedding dress.

When I made my appointment I was so excited!!! I was searching for a beautiful dress on a tight budget. When I got there they were behind, so I didnt get into a dress till about 45 minutes after my scheduled time. Which was frustrating because I had already spent two hours traveling to the trunk show. Especially when people would walk in after me and get fitted before me. When you first get there they are rushing you. I understand they were behind but I felt like they didnt really care about me, or my dress, just my wallet. I told the owner of the boutique the style of dress that I liked, so I was only given those options (another example of being rushed). I ended up purchasing a dress and hating it. I never realized how crappy the material is and the dress itself. I get its a good deal, but I guarantee they are ordering them from China and shipping them here. Now comparing it to other dresses, its really showing how awful the dress is. Save your $500 and dont go here. If youre on a budget look for something on KSL.

A lot of the reviews on here are complaining about them not allowing them to bring everyone they brought with them in, or consultants pressuring them or rushing them, or whatever. They send you a very detailed email about your appointment, they just must not have read it carefully. Only 2 people can come with you, it’s a 45min appointment so if you want to try on every single dress then yes, they’re going to rush you so you have the chance to try them all on lol. Anyway, that bugged me. I am so glad I went with ECD because it was such a great deal for a good quality dress! Consultants were friendly and helped me undress, and try and retry on dresses. I couldn’t be happier with my dress and experience.
