I initially didn’t have anything nice to say regarding a recent experience but after speaking with the technician and getting a full scope of the issue, I wanted to come on here and say that we appreciate the company for doing their best with limited resources.My only suggestion would be communication, we were in the dark in regards to the time frame in which a technician would be out after days of our boiler going out which caused frustration and anger, my grandmother is elderly and haven’t been able to shower or wash clothes for days which was upsetting.I changed my star rating to 4 as of our most recent interaction.

I have been getting my home delivery from Alcus for about five years always delivered on time and it is always a pleasure to talk to Tracy who takes my order, very professional,honest and sweet.

Juan cleans out our fuel system yearly and has even come out to help with emergency problems and does an excellent job. We have a crawl space under the house and some companies do not service us because it is a crawl space. They do a great job and the customer service is great as well.

I look forward to a visit for propane refill at their shop. I have not used their oil service but I know a little about that stuff and while Im there the equipment is being well maintained and the people are friendly and knowledgeable. The number of places to refill a 20# tank ( barbecue) in the area are scarce to none. I recommend you call first but they are usually there till 3pm for refills, knock on the door if locked. Store is in the back of the diner lot you will see the sign.

Alcus Fuel Oil & Sons is nothing short of miracle workers, they are always available no matter what time or what problem. First encounter was for some standard heating issues but was able to get to know the employees and the company and really built a solid relationship with them (old house lots of problems). Fast forward a few years and an emergency sprang up with a sick relative that needed immediate and extensive work done on her A/C system, I immediately knew who to call and they did not let me down. The problem was quickly identified and handled like it was one of their family members who was in trouble, cant stress how much this meant to me! Family company and i would not give my business to anyone else!

The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude BUT the man who delivered the oil was a sweety pie!!! The oil they delivered messed up my boiler it must be watered down!!!
