Needed shoes. Didnt receive much help, but maybe that was a good thing. I assisted my elderly relative quickly swapping out styles and sizes of shoes. Prices were great!!

Went to go buy some refills for my airsoft. The associate at the guns counter was super informative and professional. Also when my 6 year old with ADHD caused me (a 30 year old with ADHD) to accidentally drop a jumbo size pack of BBs all over the floor, the man simply told me not to worry about it because they have a big magnet for this kind of thing. 😅 Overall, great experience. Will definitely be returning.

From the looks of it, the store owner (guy in charge) could care less if customers visit this particular Big 5. Its small, old, somewhat dilapidated, with screens on the windows presenting a darkly lit sparse interior. Heck, it looks like the tail end of a Going Out of Business stretch.That said, the New Balance shoes are awesome, with lots of style at $50 or less. I walk many miles a day (like the .7 miles to the store). Thanks guys. You were nice too. Bonus!

Good and friendly customer service. They dont have much inventory right now on weights plates but I guess eventually its gonna be more. Nice selection on swimming suits and good quality brands. A little small for the many items they sell but they good variety of spot products.

Well I knew what I was going to buy (shoes) but didnt know which style Id get, so I got a couple pair, and happy with both pair. I was in and out quick. (Of the store) Great sour of the moment buy.

If you need to buy anything knife related go here and ask for BRAD (I think hes a manager). He is the man. Great advice, honest opinions, and feed back is not bias. Very helpful and would rather please the consumer than meet sales number. I really dig that!If I need a work knife, or even got a question in the future Ill be going here hands down

I arrived following my GPS from Google maps. I get here and theyre close I came all the way from Los Angeles. I sit and wait for 10 minutes to figure out where I can find another Big 5 sporting goods and a guy walks out and the lady locks the door behind him. Its 4:54 p.m. Sunday March 29, 2020. Four other cars pull up and say damn what the *****. How are they close? All the other stores around in the shopping center are open but not big five.. smdh I wasted my gas and my time..

The young gentleman that help really went out of way to locate I item I was looking for... My over experience was good...

Went in to get a vinal repair kit for a well used Air Mattress. Lupe was extremely helpful showing me 3 different kits! Best of all she helped me find a perfect new Air Mattress on sale for half price. Very nice and helpful staff ! ! ! Thank you.

False Advertising on their sale prices no one is going to be reading off sku # to make sure they are Advertising the correct thing. Talked to the manager about it and he gave me a bunch of excuses. It isnt CONSUMERS (MY) FAULT THAT THEY DONT UPDATED THEIR STORE/PRICES!I will be filling for FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND CONSUMERS COMPLAINT!

Employees went out of their way to see if another big five head besides you get my husband needed and then even made sure it was there and gave us the address of several that were around in the area what is the right size of shoe.

Prices are competitive, and being close to the main street made it handy to run in and out.Dont know the name of the gentleman that helped me, but he was accommodating.It was a little cluttered, but Im sure its because they were busy in there helping others.

The employees in this store have been super helpful and friendly each time Ive been here. I usually need help with items behind the counter and I normally dont have to wait long.They help me select the best coupons to use from the big5 email blasts and also help me to locate items that are hard to find.This is a smaller store and there is a lot stuffed in there. Its hard to find items at times, they dont stock everything (but they stock a lot for the size of store), and it can feel crowded going through the aisles.Overall this is my go to big5 store and I will continue to go back here.

Great employees. I explained about a lil radio I bought for $30 but it is no good. It only last 3 hours and to charge takes minimum 8 hours. Worthless speaker from litez all. So the employee told me to bring it back but I explained I may have thrown the receipt away because I didnt want to deal with the hassle but I still have the box and everything in it plus its in the box. He told me to just bring it back and Ill get store credit. That is very good to hear and I will definitely do that and switch it out for the G Drop speaker, hopefully. Thank you nonetheless

Much better than the Whittier location. They had what I needed and the store wasnt a mess.

For camping products they are very limited on their inventory.

Very poorly ran store. Need help? Forget it! The employees are rude, dismissive, unknowledgeable, and inept in their job functions. The selection is below average at this store. Bought an Adidas backpack for an overseas trip. The zipper worked fine in the store, but was already giving me issues at LAX when going through TSA. As soon as I switch planes in Tokyo some 10 hours or so later, the stitching was already coming undone around the middle compartment.

Bummer, all out of weight benches. Still a good store though.

They dont really have much in stock but great customer service.

This review really is for Andrew who helped me out with my purchase there at Big 5 Sporting good store. I had to go there 3 times, to make purchase due to a couple of hiccups with paperwork, but Andrew helped me every step of the way. He was super patient, answered all of my questions and was super patient with everything. Kudos to you Andrew!The big 5 store itself is organized and bigger than the ones Ive been too. Fairly easy to navigate though. I think they may be understaffed, but everything seemed to run smoothly from me walking, to my transaction, to walking out. No problems at all! Highly recommend this Big 5 store.

Disappointed with selection and service. Went there to try and find a air pump to fill a ball. They had a hard time comprehending what I wanted then they were not sure they had that device. They could not even recommend a place. Just for understanding this store shares a parking lot with Walmart. Yet they could not say try there (we had and Walmart did recommend Big 5).

Prices are good & good selection considering many sports stores going out of business.

Good supply of Sporting Goods they have everything from hunting fishing to fitness equipment and sporting equipment. Also have a nice selection of shoes. The place was clean and staff was friendly and helpful

Great place with great staff. The store has lots to offer in terms of selection and price. Went to the Nike outlet next door first and then made our way to Big 5 and it was night and day in terms of sales and staff. My son grabbed a pair of shoes ($14)at a price that the nike outlet couldnt touch. I grabbed a backpack with a water attachment for $19, better than bass pro/cabellas prices. Thanks again when Im back from Toronto Ill be shopping here...

Was ignored for a few minutes but got my fishing license eventually. Quick stop off the freeway.

Cashier sent me to locked fitting room to stand around unable to get in. Then security wanted to know why Obama just standing here.ni explain about locked door. Tells me to just wait. Why have lock on soor if employees are you lazy to open them...
