1st time visit and an awesome shopping experience from start to finish! All store associates I came in contact with were Polite and Helpful. I had the privilege to have been helped by store associate HANNAH! She asked what I specifically needed and was able to find me the perfect pair of athletic shoes. I recently have myocarditis due to COVID-19 and my feet are puffy so only extra wide shoes will fit. Hannah found this perfect pair and I was looking for this brand. The shoes were on Clearance too. Im very happy with my purchase and would recommend and go back again. Thank you.

Has a lot of sports related things but the day I went I needed badminton supplies but they bad very few badminton related items left and not what I needed. Came another time and bought the last one there. Customer friendly and had no problems with checkout or wait.

Needed a pair of shoes. Shoe person was semi knowledgeable. He was helpful however with retrieving items for me to try on.

Ok selection, but I would say they had better selection of tennis shoes in the past. Also ammo is very hard to find, you have to stop by on Tuesday morning when they get restocked otherwise is gone quickly. Blue racquetballs have also not been available last two times I stopped by.

My friend and I took 10 lessons from coach. He is very thoughtful in each of his lesson and really focus on improving our techniques. Coach will also cater to our needs and playing styles and change up the lessons for us to increase the variety. Highly recommended!

Picked up a few life guard straw hats for working in the sun. Everyone was very nice and helpful to find hats on sale.

The workers there are always cheerful and knowledgeable about their products. I bought my brother Bobby a cool radio from there for his birthday. .....I also like to shop at the Huntington Beach Big 5. Great prices.... especially if you can catch a sale going on.

Out of the many Big5 locations these people really treat their customers great. I have been coming here for years and the people are always helpful and go the extra mile to make sure customers have a great experience. From the people in the shoe department to the cashiers they are all really nice and helpful.

The place looked organized overall, but didnt have the size for what we were looking for, and the kid who was the cashier when we went wasnt helpful at all. Didnt want to try to help us get what we were looking for, didnt want to look up anything on the computer for us when asked. Didnt want to help us at all, just kept apologizing and said he didnt know anything. Employees need to be trained better here.

Big 5 Sporting Good hasnt changed at all in the past years. Same product selections, all the sport stuff you would need for your sporting needs. I went in their for a fishing license, so my experiences was brief. The staff was extremely helpful and tentative. The process was easy to get your license for the year.I guess the only thing I would suggest is for Big 5 to think about a new branding campaign, the store has not changed in years. I mean since I was young and that was like 30 something years ago. The layout and design is exactly the same.

Staff are always professional and helpful. Been going to this location since they demolished the one by the 405 for freeway expansion.

I bought a 3 season cold weather 25-35° F sleeping bag at the Anaheim location. It was on sale. The young salesman found the bag I was looking for and it was the last one on the shelf. I also received a veterans discount of 10%. The cashier was very polite.

In July I bought 2 pair of shoes. I wire the one pair and when I went to put on other pair this morning, they were a size 8 1/2. I wear 10. They were in a size 10 box, which I threw away a couple weeks ago because I movie, as the receipt. So, I found my credit card receipt, and took the unworn shoes back to BIG FIVE and explained. They were very nice, and exchanged the shoes for a size 10. I love BIG FIVE.

I wasnt really heading to big 5, but when I saw the sign coming up so I cut over to the right and pull into the parking lot!I needed something and didnt really know what until I got in the store, this is a smaller store but it is jammed packed with everything for the outdoors! I looked down at my Nikes and thought new shoes, thats what it was? Wasnt it ?its a great little store and I always find that thing, that I didnt know that I needed it?

These People have no Knowledge or customer service skills right to management. If it wasnt that I was on my last day and had to get something for the Grandchildren I would not have shopped at this store. I asked Excuse me do you work here replied YES I DO (walking) do you sell childrens swimwear POINTING WHILE WALKING OVER THERE. Did not stop no eye contact very blunt and not friendly at all. Another Staff member had no knowledge of sizing.

A good place to look at if you are in the vicinity of downtown Anaheim, good for families in a budget for sporting equipments and leisure. A good spot location and easy to find.

Like big5, easy to shop and they have a good inventory of all products.

Their Big Ad Papers with coupons are much bigger than their inventory which was just about nothing. Asked for gift receipts and the lady waiting on me didnt know how to print out multiples. If you need gift receipts make sure you get waited on someone who knows how give you what you ask for or your just out of luck. They dont price match either.

Clean, friendly staff. We went there for a specific item and it was in stock and on sale. We called ahead and checked and they held it for us at the front. Very happy.

We had to make a pit stop to get bathing suits, and this place had a decent variety.

I needed some tennis shoes and they didnt have them on my size on any of the three i liked. They were trying to check some other store for me bit seemed like the manager had some more important tasks for the staff, no one could of helped me. The store wasnt like super busy, but apparently they couldnt handle the fiew crawed in there. I will never try big 5 agein

Lots of hiking equipment along with exercise equipments and things to go on trips theres also a good variety of toys for children and lots of hiking hunting equipment to for adults and lots and lots of good things also some energy bars and snacks and a very clean party place there is also changing groups for clothing and there is clothing on sale along with shoes boots and hiking boots and many more under a good price
