Weve been updating our house for the last couple of years, and finally it came time for us to do our flooring. We wanted to tackle flooring last because its easy to get wrong, and hard to fix, so I took my time shopping for it. I had visited 7 stores before coming to OC Hardwood - 3 large chains, and 4 smaller ones. I learned that its a waste of time shopping with the large chains unless youre looking for the cheapest flooring. If youre looking for high(er) quality go for Mom and Pop. One of the Mom and Pop stores I visited was OC Hardwood and Laminate. Jack and his staff were professional and much more helpful than what I had experienced elsewhere. They took their time to break down for me all the different materials used, how flooring has improved and developed over the years, and what type of flooring would best fit for our upgrade. He was able to work with our budget to find the best flooring type for our needs, and best of all worked really hard to accommodate our schedule so the rest of our remodel wasnt impacted. Very highly recommended. Looking forward to coming back if I need anything else!

I did my homework and shopped around a bit, so I knew what I wanted and decided to stop by to reaffirm what I already knew. Originally wasnt planning on buying from here, but after seeing what he offered, I happily changed my mind. Jack was friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to get me much higher quality within my budget (note: the better quality stuff is much cheaper here than anywhere else). Hes eager for business, very helpful, and keeps his promises. Jack is a hidden gem, very happy I found him.

We love our wood floors. Jack was very helpful and we got a fair price. The installers were on time, courteous and kept the work area very clean. Finished product is beautiful. Would use again and highly recommend.

Jack was awesome to work with. Very knowledgeable about the various laminates we were interested in and patient with our questions. He even dimmed the lights in the store for us to better simulate lighting in a home. The ONLY reason I didnt rate 5 stars was due to a little confusion at the warehouse where our contractor was picking up our order, but that mightve been because he arrived before the system finished processing/transferring our order. If I could do 4.5 or maybe 4.75 stars, I would.

Small place with a good inventory. The owner not always there which is odd but obtainable by phone for detailed questions. We luckily caught him and found him knowledgeable and nice to work with.
