Im glad this Market is close to me . I go there as often as I can. The food is there where you needed. Everything you wanted and more. And the meat section is large and you can see whats good or whats on sale. And I pack my lunch or take something home for dinner. Other markets dont seem to have what I need.

Love this place. Must go for mexican sweet bread. Although recently havent found my favorite coconut rolls. Other than that this is a good one stop shop for all Hispanic foods.

Good place to buy groceries, only bad thing is that they do not sell the $1.99 chip bags anymore.

Many Mexican dishes ready to take home. Fridays are crowded. I did have a bad experience with a orchid plant. I paid 35 dollars for it, and it only last three days. When I called the store, they said they were not going to give me anothe one or a refund.

Love the selection of delicious Mexican food. But.... Doing a really bad job getting customers to socially distance. I had people all right next to me in line. They completely Ignore the distance dots on the floor leading to the checkout line. There has to be a better way to get customers to follow socially distancing protocols.

I like coming here but every time I come i hear the cashiers or baggers talking about personal things. They should concentrate on their customers.

The manager named Blas is a hard worker polite and helpful. Always opens a line and mans it him self .

I love this Northgate but the Prospera Gonzales where you cash your checks has very poor customer service. I never have had a bad experience with the store but customer service really sucks

I bought 3.55 lbs of carne asada and I didnt think it looked like 3.55 lbs so when I got home I weighed it. It was only 3 lbs and I was charged for 3.55 lbs. I tested my own scale with a 3 lb pre-packaged bag of broccoli and my scale was correct. Their scales ripped me off.

Best Mexican grocery store!

Marinated meats are not good as they used to be, and are now overpriced, chorizo is now mostly tendon and big on chewy fat pieces, cecina isnt what it used to be either

Honestly this place is fine. I give the five star because this place is traditional. It has a lot of Mexican style food. And lots of the workers speak Spanish. So it is best you know Spanish. But in other cases, the Northgate Market is really good.

The market was very organized and it is a great market. Im going to stop shopping at El Super and start shopping at Northgate.

Northgate meat department employees very disrepectful

I have been going to the store for more than 10 years and the cashier said I had a fake dollar bill. There was a long line and it was very embarrassing. They went to check the bill on the machine and they told us that it went through but they couldn’t accept it because it felt fake. They shouldn’t never done that. Is that the type of trust they have on someone who has been shopping there for such a long time. Plus the Cashier always seems to have an attitude ever since I’ve been shopping there other than that. Trust your customers and the Daamm machine. Let me know if you guys need pens to check your dollars bills every store should have at least One pen. 😡

Great grocery store to shop at. Mostly for the Hispanic culture, but you find what your looking for when it comes to mexican cuisine. They have a bakery, fresh made tortillas, fresh made food, the guacamole is always on point. Overall the staff is great friendly and I would recommend to shop here.

Not bad. The only thing that I don’t like is the lines takes forever to just pay for your stuff. Depends what person you get. Other then that it’s a nice place restroom isn’t as bad as how it was before.

Mostly pretty good prices on a good selection of produce, all the Mexican groceries you could want, large selection of meats. Watch it though because specific items can sometimes be more expensive than they should be. When its busy it can be a bit cramped and hard to get around because aisles are a little narrow. Generally great place, however. Not as nice as the big one on State College, but it had pretty much everything you need.

Always go to this Northgate. I feel this one has better stuff then other ones. Everything is always fresh and good. The carnitas are always fresh and have to take some home everytime I go. The bolillos are always fresh and hot out the oven and its great. Customer service is great as well very helpful.

This place has everything you need to cook Latin food. I always come here when Im going to make tacos. Their fresh made tortillas are the best. And the chips!! It does get crowded here but thats to be expected when they have such a large selection of meats, food and veggies.

They carry everything i can think of. Good sales from time to time. Quality of meat is excellent, produce is always nice, fresh and neat. Some cashiers need to smile more often.

I went to the Ball & Euclid store to buy a few things and ask if they sell US postage stamps. I was directed to a desk where there were three ladies.I ask one to sell me a book of stamps and she went to the computer and ask my name; phone number; DOB; home address and when she was about to ask for my SSN I stopped her and ask why all those questions for a simple purchase of US stamps and she said that the information was needed. I then said: “Thank you” and walked away.I have been buying stamps at many establishments and no one asked ANY questions.Has THIS happened to any of you out there?

The vegetables are great but you need to select them, and will be good for the price.

Clean and organized store, hence the amount of people that always buy here, they wont hold too long on the lines, a bit pricey compared to other Latino Markets but the quality is up there too.Their food court is amazing, birria, carnitas, and much more is on point.

This place is packed and very overpriced! But I dont drive and its the closest market close to me. I always feel uncomfortable as the security guard looks at me as if iam stealing and follows me through the store. There has been times Ive been charged for stuff and it not even being placed in my bag..

Never been to a Mexican Super Market before, really glad I did! Lots of items Ive never seen before. Check out the fresh meats section, some of the cooked meats are so good.

Make sure to check your receipts before leaving the store! I was charged $15 for 50 LBS of carrots and other items. Who buys 50 pounds of carrots?! This is not the first time that I have been charged for other items at this location but they were always small transactions that werent worth mentioning. Lesson learned: check your receipts at this location because theyre inputting the wrong codes and charging you more.
