Took a bit to find my pick up order because of an accidentally lost tag on the box, but the employee was friendly and helpful. AutoZone has a good selection and so far free shipping on parts. Thats a rarity in Alaska and well worth supporting.

Hit or miss on parts technicians on whether they know what theyre doing in helping you or they just do what their job describes and thats to help find and locate the parts YOU the Customer are needing.

I love this store. I used to live near here and they were my go-to. I like to do the repairs and maintenance myself when I can. When I moved to another part of town I ended up going to NAPA since they were closer. I was replacing a headlight on a particularly cold day and was having trouble getting the old one off. I asked NAPA if the assist with replacing the part and they said no. So I returned the part and went across town to buy it here. AutoZone offered more selections to me along with the assistance to get the light replaced. I am very happy and will always drive out of the way to support this store.

I really love how they let you use the car diagnostic machine for free. They have a great selection of tools, parts, cleaning products and knickknacks for your vehicle. Prices are reasonably good, service is great.

Really rude service, the young male with black glasses looking like he is in his 20s with tan skin was extremely rude, and constantly looking at his watch and phone while in the middle of me giving him my phone number and i had to keep repeating it. My wife got the part wrong the guy made a sexist comment. I have come here all the time for my car parts and the other guys in there were fantastic, No clue what changed but i hope its not gonna be a continuous issue when i come in.

I would like to reach out to the Autozone crew that worked with me on the evening of 7/25/20.I worked in retail years ago and could see that the guys were very busy when I entered the store, so I saddled up to the counter and prepared for a long wait. I was pleasantly surprised when William approached me promptly, in spite of being engaged in other tasks. He sized up my situation, then made a recommendation. He asked if I could wait briefly while he spoke with an important account on the telephone. I agreedand proceeded to walk around the store and make a few impulse purchases. After the call, William called me back to the counter. He had found an affordable solution to my problem which also saved me from having to perform a difficult bolt extraction! He also insisted thatwe check the hardware and parts for fitment prior to my buying them. Sure enough, one of the bolts that had been included in the kit was not correct. Fortunately there was another kit in stock which he retrieved for me. We checked the fitment again and this time wwe had a winner. Thanks to the crew at Old Seward, I was able to get my car backon the road that very evening.Not only did William save me time, money and frustration, he also had a polite demeanor and a great attitude. All while juggling multiple tasks. I am an aircraft mechanic by trade and I wish he worked in our parts department!Thanks for your help guys!

I only tend to go Auto Zone as a last chance stop, because 4 out of 4 times they are always the highest prices up there with Napa. Lowest always is ORileys and cheapest is Advanced Auto (Car Quest) if you order online and pickup in store same day you save 20% more.

This is our favorite auto store. My husband goes here frequently for supplies and for parts to repair our vehicles. He always has a good experience and they’ve been accommodating for returns. It seems like they have a great in-stock selection when you need a part fast. I recently went in with a check engine light. Hamilton read the code and suggested the least expensive fix first. It worked. Hamilton is upbeat and personable. Great customer service.

I had the GREATEST experience today!!!My 2002 Ford wind star van break lights and turn signal randomly shut down. I thought it may have been a bulb so I left on my lunch break to purchase some lights. After purchasing the light bulb from a very friendly and very informative about the rewards! I went to my car to fix my problem!!!! Only....I didn’t know how to change the bulb!I walked back in looking for assistant when Sir Hamilton found me. He looked very professional, the way he carried himself reminded me of someone from the 1950’s; a true gentleman.Hamilton took a look at my car and taught me how to change the light! Unfortunately that was not the problem. Hamilton suggested that we check my fuses. I had to go back to work but told him I would be back around 5pm, which I was:)He took the time to look at all of my fuses and to help me install some new ones. He was quite the gentleman, he held the door open for me and was very respectable.I feel VERY good about my experience with Hamilton and this auto store. This will be my new go to for car parts and Hamilton will always be the sales associate I perfer to work with.Thank you Hamilton for going above and beyond and for being So professional. Service like that in a world like this makes a very positive impact.

Good parts store customer service is always good and very helpful I have rewards with them so its very rewarding lol. So far I got from them was oil changing stuff a blinker Bulb light and the club cause my vehicle was previously stolen. The 33 dollar club works and it had gotten stuck cause of it being winter. It was a bit squeaky so WD40 done the trick.

I work on my own vehicles and I know more than the people here. I have no idea how some of these people were hired. Service is incompetent other than what might be on the shelves and still thats a stretch

I LOVE this store. Ive been going there for parts for my little TDI for a while. If theres a part to be had for a VW Turbo Diesel, its here (helps that its the main warehouse for the area). Staff are friendly, helpful, and generally awesome. If they dont have a part, theyre happy to tell you where it is or how long itll take to get there.Really appreciate the amazing customer service and the fact that Ive never been dudesplained to about a part or car maintenance procedure. Goes a long way to winning my confidence, in general.

AutoZone is amazing!!! Seth helped me change my tail lights on my truck. It took about 45 minutes per side because you have to take the whole ensemle apart!!! I wouldve never been able to figure it out on my own. He was cheerful and did a great job!!! Im definitely going back!!!

A week ago Saturday I purchased a new battery for my 2011 Tacoma. The young man helping me correctly identified the battery I requested, but unfortunately due to a shelving mistake the battery I was given did not fit my vehicle. This necessitated another trip to the store to get the right battery. As I did not have a running vehicle at the time, this required two cab rides. The young man working at Auto Zone insisted on paying for my cab fare. Sure the mistake was on Auto Zone, but as we know, stuff happens, and the mistake was not intentional. I thought the way the young man handled himself was admirable, too the responsibility and insisted I keep cab fare, likely from his own pocket. Just want to say kudos to Auto Zone and the young man who assisted me. We all learned a lesson here, and he showed great maturity dealing with it. Thanks again.

The fact that they would install it at a late hour is initially what got them my business. What will bring me back time and again is the attitude of customer care which I experienced! Their hours of operation are exceptional. The price point on parts is very comparable to other auto stores. Theyre very people orientated and look for a hundred percent satisfaction to their customers.

Out of all of the major chain auto parts store, I prefer AutoZone the best. Good prices, and their rewards program is second to none. The others rewards programs are pretty much chump change. AutoZone is the real deal.

I stopped by here at about 9:30 tonight to get a new headlight, because mine had burned out (they happen to conveniently be open very late) the two employees who helped me were very nice, but the second guy who came out & looked at my headlights messed with the one that was not burnt out... He changed my light bulb, then when we tested them he proceeded to tell me that the other one was burned out as well. He said that he had pulled it out (which Im 99% sure he didnt because I was outside watching the whole time) looked at it & the filament was burnt, then asked me if I would like to purchase another headlight. I did not have the money for that & I knew for a fact that my headlight that was not burnt out, it was in perfect condition, so after I left, I went home & turn the head light back on, easily, myself. So he had loosened it or something to a point where it was not working, then tried to sell me another headlight. Most men assume that women dont know anything about Vehicles, so if youre a woman, just be aware when you buy automotive supplies, because they will take advantage of you.

I needed a new tail light wiring harness for my truck. These guys were on it and had it in over night. Alaska Sales and service on the other hand- was a day late and a dollar short. Sales and service wanted twice as much and would take a week. AutoZone came through with half the cost and overnight. Outstanding service and knowledgeable on their parts.

Grate parts at fair pieces with a helpful staff that will go the extra mile with lower tools and a helping hand! Ive even bean educated on the simplest of tasks such as installing new wiper blades on a new truck, simply ask there there to help and they are willing and able to without hassle or judgment.

Knowledgeable staff members, always available to help you get the right information and parts needed. They have every part and accessory for what your car needs. I love coming here. I stop in only to get a item I need, only to end up buying more than what I came for.

We had a slight emergency with a fuel hose and couldnt go far. So stopped here and they could not have been nicer! Showed us all the hoses they had (one was just right) but most importantly, as we were in an RV, we asked if we could stop overnight if we couldnt get hose off before they closed. Not a problem! Polite helpful and understood we were in a bind. Thankfully we fixed it all and didnt have to impose upon them. Well done to a great team. Thank you.

Very helpful staff!! I called in advance to check to see if they had the bulb I needed for my taillight, and the employee I talked to realized that I needed a different bulb than my google search said I did. Because the store was open late, I arrived at the store maybe 20 minutes later, and Tanner not only remembered the bulb I needed from our phone conversation, but also helped me install it into my car. You guys rock.

They had what I needed remarkably. I usual am in and out they dont seem to have what Im looking for but twice now orielys didnt have what needed in stick. No biggie searched in line and there website actually showed they had my blower motor in stock. In the past when I got to the store they dont have it although the website says they do. Or was the last one and saved me 60 dollars 8n the next one available. A week ago they. Had in stock my alternator reasonably priced with company discount. Ive been meaning towards orielys cause Ive had bad luck here but Ill have to not default straight to orielys from here on out. Peace and Cheers AutoZone giid to be able to gain confidence in your store again. Lol

One of the best kept secrets in AnchorageI cant say enough good things about this parts store. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they go above and beyond. The manager Joe is a funny guy who is really helpful, and I always know when I see him that its going to be a good experience. I once sent my mother to his store to get a new bulb for her headlight while I was out of town, and they not only sold her the right one, they installed it for her in the parking lot. Now thats full service!

Arrogant and unhelpful. The manager made sure that I understood that he and his staff are too important to help the only customer in an empty store find a part. I walked out buying nothing and will not enter that store again.

Had what I wanted and needed

I asked about doing work on my car in Anchorage. The store associate told me no work was allowed in their parking lot, which puzzled me considering I have done work in AutoZone parking lots in California and Arizona. I asked if any other AutoZone locations will allow it and he rather rudely responded with a no, saying this is Anchorage, not Arizona. Appalling customer service from a store I have frequented several times for parts and help. Definitely the last time I will be in an AutoZone.

Shane, one of the managers, was helpful and friendly. He helped me with the headlights on a friends Hyundai. That was an extreme act of service, because I was not succeeding in the attempt, even after doing a very unmanly like thing, (reading the owners manual)!

Autozone has to be my favorite place to shop for parts. Spend $20 5 times get $20 free to spend. Awesome
