Recently I bought a new Yamaha YZF-R1. I immediately noticed that the motorcycle was having a hard time cold starting. After a couple of visits of going down to the Anchorage Yamaha dealer, and accomplishing nothing... I decided that my time is more important to me. I reached out to the Battery Specialists of Alaska and spoke with Mike. Its absolutely incredible, that they had a lithium battery with 220 cold cranking amps in stock for my R1. Battery Specialists of Alaska, have helped us check our batteries, sold and installed for us a new battery and several years later helped us to identify our battery wasn’t dead, just needed a deep charge! Also sold us the right batteries (lifeline) for our camper van conversion. They have the best customer service and are knowledgeable about all things battery. Great Price, Amazing Customer Service. We have been having some battery problems with our main family vehicle for some time now. We were hoping it was due to the children leaving lights on etc. but the battery was getting older in age, eventually the car would not start without a jump. My wife called me while I was at work, I came home jumped the car then got on the phone with Mike and he was happy to help us out right then. My wife drove down, they inspection replaced the battery within 10 minutes and for a great price, Im fairly sure they didnt even charge us for installation. My wife is back on the road and I feel better as I do not have to worry about our vehicle not starting if she parks it.

These guys are the best! My truck wouldnt start so we took the battery into them. They told me it was frozen and will take a few days to thaw, and in the meantime gave me a spare battery to use free of charge. When I came back to pick mine up they also tested my truck to see if there was any other problems relating to the battery as a courtesy! Theyre all super nice dudes too. They have my business for life for sure.

They are the most knowledgeable battery and alternator people in town. They even install your new parts for a small fee.

Batteries in my Duramax have slowly been on the decline. Had BSA drop in a pair of North Star AGMs and these guys did the install on the spot. Back on the road in 30 minutes. You can cheap out on a lot of things, but not quality batteries. Thanks guys.

Super shady. Had to threaten small claims court to get refunded. I bought a battery and it didnt fit. Then when i went to return it the manager kept asking questions implying that i was the problem. They didnt want to refund the money and it felt so shady. The odd thing was that he was antagonizing me to try and get me fired up. It didnt work and i kept my cool but i did have to threaten small claims court just to get the refund.

When I was having the worst day the guy there went above and beyond to help me get everything situated. I really appreciated it and I was very thankful for him.
