This is such a beautiful experience at Aurora chocolate, listening and learning how the Taiwanese lady who inspires by the pole light and hand-made all these beautiful chocolates. Picking the chocolates is fun too, because all the chocolates have unique flavors. I picked a box of varieties, and wow! They are all amazing. Very distinguished flavor! Comparing to the other chocolatier I went before, this is definitely one of the best. You should totally check it out if you visit Anchorage.

Such a treat!We were staying at the Captain Cook Hotel and what a delight it was to discover a fun shop like this! Each piece, you can tell, was made with attention to detail.I loved each one that I tried but my favorite was the caramelized pear with saffron. This one was such a unique combo, but very well balanced!We loved it so much that we purchased a box to hand carry home!

Aurora Chocolate is one of the best chocolate shops I have ever been to. Chef Ingrid is extremely kind and helpful, and she helped us pick out our chocolates. The chocolates were of unique flavors (like yuzu and orange grand marnier) and were extremely delicious. And of course, how can you forget the beautiful Aurora-inspired colors?

Super friendly and helpful staff. Also, holy cow, the chocolates. Honestly the best chocolates Ive ever had. And sooo pretty! The tiny little pastries are incredible too. Ill definitely be back soon and look forward to buying gifts from here as well.

When I have a need for some special sweets the Sweet Chaletis my go to place. Have been going there from about the first weekthey opened.

When we walked in we were greeted warmly by Ingrid. She presented both of us with samples and went to great lengths to explain each piece and answer any questions we had. Ive never been to a high end confection shop but she had us very impressed. If were ever around and craving I bet wed stop back in.

This is a small but beautiful candy store. It has the most wonderful and amazing chocolates and the employees are very friendly.

I am OBSESSED with truffles and this place has the coolest ones I have seen. They aren’t your normal chocolate malt type Lindt truffles you expect, they are galaxy coated jelly type filled bites of deliciousness 🤤 I have visited both locations and they are equally tasteful. The chocolate covered gummy bears are also unlike anything else, the bears are sweeter than normal gummies. Would recommend 10/10I must add, the truffles are somewhat pricey. I believe 2$ or so per truffle, so it adds up quick! (Worth it though)

I love this place. Their chocolate is one of a kind. Their chocolate is good for gifts and giveaways.

I had the salted chocolate cookie but the butter or crisco? and sugar overpowered the chocolate flavor and the texture was similar to butter rolled in sugar. It didnt have a cookie texture at all. No ingredients or nutritional info was listed on the packaging, so Im not sure what overpowered the chocolate flavor.

Our family adores Ingrid. She works tirelessly to make the most delicious chocolate in Anchorage. Her bon bons are divine. I highly recommend stopping in. She will give you free samples the first time to help you get a good feel for what she makes.

Unique and exquisite chocolates, they look too pretty to eat but taste better than they look! Go upstairs to the second floor to find their shop floor.
