Susan went way beyond to get me the Teeter LT3 into and installed in my Town House. I went to two other equipment businesses first, but Precor was the only one willing to look it up and make an order. Its a perfect machine for my knee replacements (range of motion) since I cant rotate a bike. With that said, why would you go anywhere else? Blessings always

Friendly staff who managed to timeshare effectively between 5 sets of customers and answer all questions. Best of all, they were honest and forthright with all equipment and helping the customer select what works best for their budget and workout goals.

Best store for fitness equipment in Anchorage! I got some powder coated kettlebells and was very pleased with the service. They even helped me load them.

I ordered a treadmill in August and was told I could expect to receive it in October which I was fine with. But when October came and went I started calling the store for shipping updates. This is when I’m told that they had no idea if/when it would show up. Multiple times I was told it would be on the “next shipment” only to call a week later and they didn’t have it. It was finally explained to me that they have no way of tracking your order and there was no priority on when you ordered, you were at the mercy of who was loading the containers and my order kept getting pushed to the side. It’s now mid-December and I’ve received my treadmill, almost 4 months later. I gave 3 stars because I haven’t had a chance to even use the treadmill yet so my only experience with the store is their shipping procedures.

They had what I wanted at a price WAAAAAAY CHEAPER than online with shipping! Super easy and fast, no BS.

If you are in a hurry, schedule your trip another time. This is a small business trying to serve the entire state because they are basically the only quality dealership in the state. I would definitely recommend them; they are trying to do the right thing, which takes time. Don’t expect a fast food type experience. They are going to try to help you find the best equipment for your need but you are going to have to be patient. It took me three trips to find the right match for me. Considering the price of exercise equipment; it helps make a genuinely good fit for your needs.

Susan and Clint have outstanding customer service. They’re very knowledgeable, and were able to help be with my home gym setup. I purchased a power rack and some weights, as shipping to AK is just too expensive. I found their prices to be reasonable, and for what they didn’t have in stock, they were able to order and get it in less than a week. This shop is awesome!

Precor of Anchorage sells great products and has outstanding customer service/support! I have made multiple purchases and am very happy I chose Precor. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and doesn’t try to force upsales. They have also researched and followed up on any service/support inquiries I have made. We went to look for a recumbent bike but after looking at all the options, we got a different one. They have a multitude of fitness equipment. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. We got the best equipment for our age. (Not spring chickens). No pressure either. We’ll buy from them again.

We were very happy with the service we received. We purchased a water rower. John was willing to disassemble the one on the floor for us to take home as they were all out of the ones in the box. We really appreciated that as we didnt want to make another 100 mile round trip to the store.

Susan and Clint were both outstanding at being helpful. They were very knowledgeable about treadmills and their products and took the time to get to know my needs. they werent at all pushy and it was a gentle, collaborative and quick process. Two days after I purchased my Precor it was installed and my old one hauled off. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I cancelled our gym membership in January 2019 and realized we could save a bunch of money by having our own fitness equipment in our home. We found Precor Home Fitness in Anchorage, and decided to visit. Clint was welcoming and great at helping us decide on which pieces of equipment we wanted. There was no pressure to buy or anything like that. He helped us stay within our budget. He was able to print off quotes and drawings for us at our first visit. We took home the drawings to make sure the equipment would fit in the space that we wanted to put them. We went back the next day to make a purchase. We ended up with a nice treadmill and the M2 multigym. They even sell foam floor squares for your to put your new equipment on. Im looking forward to our delivery date! I wont have an excuse to work out now. In the future we will be going to Precor in Anchorage for all of our gym equipment needs. I highly recommend Precor to anyone even thinking about getting fitness equipment.

I own several pieces of Precor exercise equipment. Recently looked into their floor model sale and picked up a couple extra pieces. Wonderful price, delivered and assembled at the home. Susan runs a first rate operation . The prices are unbeatable.

This place is really... just bad. Ive been in the store three times and have not had the praise worthy experiences everyone else has had.Without fail, the staff acts so frantic and confused with just one customer in the store. I dont understand the need to rush me from looking at equipment to paying. I didnt act like I was in a hurry, was friendly, etc. No idea why they felt like they had to rush around and bounce between me and the customer they were helping when I came in. If you only have one person working, cool, I can wait. I think most people would understand that. But dont try to multitask and mess up an expensive order.I was looking for a bench that has a leg press and lat tower, so they tried to upsell me to their $3000 cage system, which I declined for many reasons. That set the stage for the rest of the conversation. They essentially refused to help me find what I was looking for because of that. I had to pull up the manufacturers site to ask about 4 different products to ask if it would work. Yeah, that might work ... Seriously? This isnt cheap, I need the CORRECT answer. And yet, here I sit at home with parts that dont fit together because they couldnt help me. What a waste of money.And delivery... what a mess. I ordered in the end of November, received the bench that day and was told 4 weeks for the rest of my order. I waited till after Christmas and they said they werent sure where it was and to call back next week. After New Years I called back and they said they werent able to get it on a boat so its still delayed. I give it another two weeks, expecting a call but nothing. I called back and they said its FINALLY on its way. Another week goes buy and I call back and they said its been there for 3 days. Why cant you call? I verified my number and they had it right... I dont understand. Its Alaska, I get it. I dont get the lack of communication or the whole... not knowing where the box actually was.This is NOT a case of at least we have one. Go to Play It Again or order online. This place is NOT worth it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I bought tons of equipment for our non profit gym in bush alaska and they refused to do repairs. When they did come, they didnt come with parts, and did not fix my treadmills which broke a month later and burned up the motor they were supposed to replace but never did. I have been calling them for over a year to get them to replace broken parts and they do nothing but screen my calls, emails, and never get back to me. Possibly the worst customer service of anywhere I have seen. Will NEVER buy from them again.

Website is less than user friendly. Store is located in Alaska, so naturally a customer would believe that purchasing a product online from this store would allow for shipping within the state of Alaska. Nope. I guess that means that there could be a chance of buying fitness equipment from this store if I drive 330 miles south to find out. Sure would be nice to be able to purchase online and have the product shipped without a nearly 700 mile expedition.

Really knowledgeable about the equipment and the body mechanics required for each machine. Took the time to find out what we were looking for and tailored their recommendations to our desires and abilities, as well as our physical (body) and structural (home) limitations.

These guys really stand behind their products. I bought an exercise bike, and after riding it for a few weeks found that it wasnt fitting me very well. They went above and beyond to exchange this for a different model, even though it was outside of the return window. They were very helpful throughout and let me know that my satisfaction was their top priority. Theyre always accessible and friendly - a pleasure to deal with.

We were looking to upgrade our home gym, so we called a few places and walked in the door to Precor Home Fitness of Anchorage. We were met by Susan Jennings and her big welcoming smile. She introduced us to treadmills that met our needs. Demonstrating each one, we decided on a Precor. We also upgrade our elliptical. This was on a Thursday, she said she could have them delivered that coming Saturday and did. Right on time. They removed our old equipment, delivered and setup our new purchases. Demonstrated each of them, while answering all our questions. All with the same welcoming smile, knowledge and friendliness Susan brought to us when we walked into her business. She requested that we keep the appointment so her staff could check out the equipment to make sure there was no problem and we did. Come that Saturday, the technician called ahead of time as promised and arrived right on the scheduled time. Clint, the technician was very professional and pleasant. He got right to business inspecting the equipment and found that the equipment was working perfectly. We have had no other precieved issues at all and love working out on the equipment. Susan and Clint at Precor Home Fitness of Anchorage truly do stand by their warranties and their dedication to their customers and the equipment I bought from them. Assuring me to call them and they would return as they did to assist with any issue we may have. I was very impressed with Precor Home Fitness of Anchorage. I went in looking for information on treadmills. The rep was really nice, and highly knowledgeable.

Sue was wonderful in patiently explaining the equipment and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had a clear understanding of things. She also didnt sell us things we didnt need.
